What do you want to achieve in 2005?

What do you want to achieve in 2005?

by: Richard Grady

Welcome to the New Year everyone 🙂

So what do you want to achieve this year…..?

To start your own business?

To lose some weight?

To give up smoking?

To quit your job?

To spend more time with your family?

To live a healthier lifestyle?

The statements above are some of the more common goals that people set themselves at the beginning of a New Year. This time of year is traditionally the time when we make กNew Year Resolutionsก those little promises to yourself that are usually forgotten about by the middle of January (if not sooner)!

So what can you do to ensure that your resolutions are not just a distant memory by Feb 1st? Well, everyone is different and I can’t promise that the same techniques will work for all but one of the best ways of staying on track is to put some proper planning in place and that usually means writing things down.

It is all too easy to think to yourself กYup, Iกm going to lose a few pounds by Marchก but if that is all you do, you will almost certainly fail. You need to take action and one of the easiest ways of forcing yourself to do this is to work to an action plan. Let me explain…..

With any major goal that you want to achieve, it should be possible to prepare a plan of how you wish to achieve the goal and over what timescale. To take the weight loss example above, you may have decided that you need to workout three times a week and cut out various foods if you are to achieve your target weight. Therefore put this down in writing and monitor yourself on a weekly basis to ensure that you are actually doing what you are supposed to be doing. If it helps, stick the entire plan/calendar on your wall or fridge so that you can’t help but see it everyday.

If you want to start your own online business, you will need to be dedicating a certain amount of time to this each day, letกs say two hours. So draw up a plan that covers the next few months which details exactly what you want to have achieved by the end of each week/month, for example:

Week 1 Prepare basic template for website

Week 2 Learn how to use a basic HTML editor

Week 3/4 Design and build actual website

…..and so on.

Of course, the above is a very simplistic example and your real plan will probably be far more detailed but the point is that having a plan to work to WILL help.

Many people like working to lists that is, they like having a list of outstanding tasks to do because they enjoy ticking the jobs off once they are completed. Working to a plan is very similar because you can ‘tick offก each milestone as you pass it.

One thing that I wouldn’t recommend though is spending too long drawing up the actual plan. I once worked for a company and was involved in a major project that had various timescales etc that had to be worked to and the Managing Director asked me to draw up a project plan in a particular format. Now this format was incredibly detailed and it would have taken me about a week just to prepare the plan. I felt this was wasted time and as the project leader, I refused to prepare the plan in the way that he wanted and instead spent a couple of hours drawing up a much simpler กcheck listก. He wasn’t impressed but I guess he was just one of those people that prefers to spend their time planning rather than DOING. The end result was that the project was completed on time and without too many problems but had I spent a week on unnecessary planning, we would have probably ended up a week behind schedule.

So plan your actions by all means but don’t turn the actual planning phase into a project all of its own. People can sometimes be reluctant, even scared to take action and therefore drag the planning out as long as possible in order to put the กhard workก off.

Don’t let this happen to you and be sure you plan in the right way don’t use it as an excuse not to take action in the first place.

Planning won’t guarantee that you achieve your goals but it will certainly help and will definitely give you the edge over the majority of people that simply don’t bother…..

The Magic of Writing Goals in your life!

The Magic of Writing Goals in your life!

by: Tal Fighel

Goal setting is an important technique used by athletes, successful businesspeople, lawyers, doctors, and great achievers in all fields. Goal setting is a very powerful technique that can yield strong returns in all areas of your life. Goal setting can help you grow in life. It can help you achieve more.

So what do you need to do first? You need to define a goal. You need to know exactly what you want, when you want it, and why you want it. What ever your dream is. That is your goal. If you don’t know exactly what your goal is, you will not commit to it. You will not have enough of a desire to achieve it. Successful businesspeople know exactly what they want to achieve in business and they make goals a top priority.

When you do write your goals down, you need to ask yourself one important question. Is this goal realistic? Is it attainable? Do you really believe that you can reach it? Faith is also an important ingredient that can make or break your goal. If you don’t believe that you can make your goal a reality, then you probably won’t. You need to have faith in yourself. You need to have faith in your goals. You need to have faith that you can reach any goal that you set.

This little girl had a dream to become the queen of England. She told everyone that she was going to achieve that goal. Do you think that she can achieve it since she has nothing to do with the royal family? Obviously not. It was a foolish goal. You need to make sure that your goal is realistic, and attainable. Now, if it is realistic then you need to put the proper date on it. The proper action that needs to be taken. You have to do everything in your power to make that goal come true.

So don’t put unrealistic dates on your goal. That is when you can get frustrated. If you are in MLM, you need to find someone who has reached what you are striving for and do exactly what he or she is doing.

You then need to determine what price, what’s the worthiness of that goal. What level of importance are you going to put on it? Is it a want? Is it a need? Is it, ขIt would be nice to have itข? You need to make that goal a burning desire. You need to make it a must. It is a ขHave to have it no matter whatข goal. If you do that then you’re your subconscious mind will look for ways to make that goal a reality. It will give you ideas on how you should go about to achieve it.

Now, shortterm goals are usually simpler and easier than longterm goals. Why? Well, writing them can help you have more frequent victories, and building momentum with each one you complete. If you do that, you can have more excitement and more motivation as you reach those goals on time. When you do reach you shortterm goals, don’t forget to reward yourself and celebrate. Buy new clothes that make you feel like a million bucks. Make a toast to yourself for reaching that goal. You should be feeling so good that you are telling yourself that you can reach ANY shortterm goal that you set.

A word of warning for the longterm goals that you make. It will be harder to achieve it because as the time goes by, you can get discouraged and lose your interest. Try to set shortterm goals. It will keep you more focused and motivated.

If you haven’t achieved your shortterm or longterm goal, you will need to look at your goal and change the date, and the action that you have taken when you didn’t reach that goal. Remember, if you take the SAME action that led you to failure then you will probably get the SAME results. You need to take a look from all angles to see what you did and what you can change.

Commitment

Commitment

by: Lynne Schulze

A true commitment is a heart felt promise to yourself, from which you will NOT back down, no matter what the circumstances may be!
Many people have good intentions and dreams, but only a few are willing to commit to what is necessary to achieve them. Do a review on your commitment level, ask yourself these questions and be honest with the answers.

How badly do I want to achieve my dreams?
What will achieving my dreams mean to me?
What price am I willing to pay to make this happen?
Do I believe I can?

The ability to achieve your goals and dreams will be determined by the level to which YOU are willing to commit. NOTHING is as important as this fact!
There is a huge difference between interest and commitment. When you are interested in something you only do it when it is convenient. When you are committed to something you accept NO excuses.
The enemy of commitment is resistance. Anything you wish to achieve that is worthwhile, will meet with resistance. This can take the form of, family friends, advisers, selfdoubt, selfdefeating habits, lack of money, regulations, peerpressure and many other unforseen difficulties, such as illness etc.
This can leave you questioning your dreams or even your sanity! Take some comfort in the fact that you are not alone. All those who wish to make a better life for themselves, will meet with resistence
Think of athletes or performers in any field. The endless hours of practice and learning. The lack of a social life. The defeats . The huge amount of sacrifices and challenges these people have to meet so they can fulfill their dreams. Only YOU can decide whether the rewards you look forward to are worth your effort.
A serious commitment to a goal does not mean you have to take all the joy and fun out of life. Laughter and humour are an integeral part of the human make up. Intergrate fun into your daily goals.
Learn the difference betweeen giving up and giving in. There may be many times when giving up a certain direction or idea, would be wise. Giving in, on the other hand, should never even be considered.
Life presents itself one day at a time. Take your commitments in daily bitesized pieces. You can do without mental indigestion! One brick at a time, a house is built. One stroke at a time, the artist paints!

Improve Your Self Image – Improve your Business

Improve Your Self Image – Improve your Business

by: Cheryl Haining

How you see feel about yourself is vital to your success and happiness. You can achieve your desired goals with the right tools. A regular mental workout will keep your selfimage in shape.

Self Image

Most of us do not work on our selfimage. We battle against it, disbelieving and ignoring its existence. However it is closely connected to the success or failure of any undertaking. Selfimage is your true opinion of yourself. History repeats itself when we do not attend to the needs of our selfimage. Improve your selfimage by putting the following steps into practice, you will see amazing results.

Selfdiagnosis

Make a list of all the negative thoughts you have about yourself. Things like ขI get up to late, I procrastinate, what if it doesn’t work?ข etc. Then write another list including everything positive about yourself. Make this list longer than the first. Only use positive language. ขI am a good listener, I am always on timeข etc. Now convert your negative to positives. ขI get up lateข becomes ขI can get up earlyข. This new list becomes your active List for Improvement.

Decide on your new Self Image

Using your improvement list, create a new image for yourself. Regularly visualize yourself doing and being everything on your list. Vividly depict the areas of your life you are changing or improving. When you go to bed at night spend 510 minutes watching the new you. You may be thinner, happier, wiser etc. These mental images retrain your selfimage and reinforce your desires. The brain doesn’t differentciate between reality and what is vividly imagined. You can turn your desired images into reality. Decide your new image and get busy mentally creating it.

Focus on success.

Keep a daily diary listing all your successes. As you progress the number of entries will grow. Your selfimage will strengthen and mirror your list of improvements, positively reinforcing the new you.

Work in the Present

Many people dwell on past mistakes or worry about the future. NOW is the only moment you can control. Chris Widener says that time is more important than money. We can always make more money, but never make more time. Move forward at a much faster pace by concentrating on what you can achieve now.

Have a Life Plan.

Make your plan in three sections

How I want to be. Write your list here and add a date when you will achieve each item.

What I want to have. Write a list of things you want to acquire, include photos, and the date you intend to have them.

What I need to do. Here write the plan of how you will achieve the above.

This is goal setting. Ensure your goals are genuine, realistic and well defined.

There are numerous cd’s and books devoted to goal setting. If you don’t have any I suggest you buy NOW.

Affirmations

ขEvery day in Every way I am getting Better and Betterข.

The fastest way to rejuvenate selfimage is to reinforce it countless times daily. Have flash cards with you, on your desk, in the car, bathroom, next to the bed. Use short affirmations to trigger positive images in your mind.

Set aside time daily to work on your selfdevelopment. With a positive selfimage your strength will grow and your weaknesses diminish. Following the above involves selfdiscipline and a desire to achieve. Be focused and your selfimage and business will soar.

I Would Give Anything To …

I Would Give Anything To …

by: Kathleen Gage

A couple days ago I was listening to a CD by one of the most successful speakers in the industry. He has been around for many years and is considered one of the greats. He is also considered to be somewhat off the beaten path. As much as he is admired and respected by many, he is judged by just as many. The segment I found most intriguing was one about how others often say to him, ขI would give anything to be a successful speaker and author just like you.ข

His response is, ขNo you wouldn’t. What you want is the end result, but you’re probably not willing to do what it takes to achieve the level of success I have achieved.ข Arrogant? Maybe. Harsh? Perhaps. Truthful? Most definitely.

Anyone who has achieved a relatively high level of success in their industry has probably had the same statement directed to them. ขI would give anything to be a successful ________ just like you.ข

Truth be told, achieving a level of success others will want to emulate is something most people are not willing to make the necessary sacrifices for. Sure, they want the end result, but are they willing to step out from the crowd and do what it takes to achieve their dream? Are they willing to go through the inevitable ups and downs?

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with some pretty incredible people. Folks who have achieved more than most could only dream of. Individuals who others will look at and think, ขI would be willing to do anything to achieve that level of success.ข

Sadly, that is about as far as many people get with their desire to accomplish what they want out of life. They talk about it, but don’t do what is necessary to achieve it. I’m not referring simply to monetary success. I am referring to contribution to community, personal success, physical success, or virtually anything that would signify a complete life.

In last month’s column I mentioned the book I am coauthoring. Why Be Different? Success Secrets for Selling the Unsellable is a book about how one can set themselves apart from the competition in such a way that they literally become leaders in their industry. Much of the book will be based on interviews conducted with people from a variety of industries such as real estate, healthcare, accounting, hospitality and more. Being a leader doesn’t necessarily mean you are the biggest. It means that you are the one others look to when determining standards of success within an industry.

As I have been gathering information, what I find interesting is some of the similarities with the people we are featuring in the book. Each person has been through some incredible ups and downs on their road to success. Each has gone through experiences that would make someone else quickly throw in the towel. They didn’t let the roadblocks stop them; they just kept moving forward in order to reach their goals.

What I find most intriguing is their powerful belief in having a vision of what is possible. All are also very flexible in their approach to life. They knew what they wanted to achieve and if one thing didn’t work they tried something else. If that didn’t work, they tried yet something else. They kept at it until they achieved their goals. The words ขnoข and ขcan’tข are almost nonexistent in their vocabulary.

Also evident is their generosity to their community and their clients. Rather than putting a price tag on everything, they often make contributions without expecting anything in return. They do it because it makes others feel good and it is simply the right thing to do.

With each person, a love of what they are doing is essential. Although they work very hard, they have such an incredible passion for what they are doing that when the tough times hit, they are virtually unstoppable. People who are not incredibly passionate about what they are doing give up when they are presented with roadblocks to their success.

Don’t just be another person saying, ขI’d do anything…ข Keep your vision, your passion and jump over your roadblocks.

Standing Above The Crowd

Standing Above The Crowd

by: Kelley Robertson

In today’s highly competitive business environment it is critical to find ways to separate yourself from the other companies who sell the same – or similar – product and/or service. Here are several strategies that can help you accomplish this:

Help your clients achieve their goals. Virtually every business person has specific goals they are striving to achieve. These can include everything from increasing their market share and sales, to reducing operating expenses, to streamlining the business, to incorporating new business practices. Invest time learning the key objectives of each of your customers. Then determine how your products and services can help them achieve their targets. In some cases, you may not be able to help them but recommending someone who can assist them will be recognized and remembered. The more you can help them achieve their goals the more valued you will become.

Underpromise, overdeliver. As old as this expression is, it is still one of the best ways to stand out from the crowd. Far too many people make commitments to their customers and fail to follow through as promised. It’s easy to fall into this trap, particularly for serviceoriented individuals. We have every intention of delivering on a promise but often, unexpected circumstances crop up that prevent of from doing so. While this is acceptable by most people – once in a while – frequent occurrences will drive your customers to your competition.

Be innovative. Most companies do business the same way until a crisis, emergency, or significant change in the marketplace forces them to adapt. The most successful organizations are creative and innovative. They constantly look for new ways to do business, gain more their market share, please their customers, and offer new products and services. The inherent challenge with this is that you will encounter resistance from many people both inside and outside of the company; I have experienced this firsthand in several companies I have worked for.

However, if you try to be innovative ONLY when it’s absolutely necessary, you will never get the headstart on your competition. Watch for trends in other industries as well as yours and think of how you can incorporate these into your business. Be a leader instead of a follower.

Surprise them. Look for ways to surprise your customers and do something completely unexpected for them. Make a charitable donation in their name. Invite them to a special event. Give them a bonus gift or service. Find out what networking events your clients might like to attend and send them a complimentary invitation. If they enjoy reading send an occasional book in their area of interest. Gift certificates to a show or play may be appreciated by some of your customers.

Two words of caution: i) Be careful that your ขsurpriseข is not misinterpreted as a bribe to do business with you. There cannot be any strings or hidden conditions attached to this offering. ii) Make sure your client is allowed to accept a gift. Some organizations have a strict ขno giftข policy and you must respect it.

Keep in touch. Very few people keep in touch on a regular basis with their customers. Yet, this is the best way to keep your name in their mind. An effective strategy – without appearing like a pest – is to send them useful information on a regular basis. You can send a newspaper clipping or a magazine article. You can also send them helpful and practical tips to improve their business; this can be set up quite easily electronically.

Send cards on special occasions but instead of the standard Christmas cards send some on lesser promoted days such as St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, etc. You can also send postcards from exotic locations – just be careful not to write a tacky message. This past winter I traveled to St. Maarten in the Caribbean and found a beautiful postcard of a beach along the Caribbean Ocean. I sent this card to about four dozen clients and prospects with the message, ขWhen the winter starts getting you down, take a three minute vacation by picturing yourself on this beach.ข

Have a VIP day. You can organize a golf tournament – assuming of course your customers play the game. If you’re a retailer, you can invite your best customer to an invitationonly special sale.

Every year, a friend of mine organizes an evening filled with networking opportunities, guest speakers, great food and beverages and invites his clients, prospects, and friends to attend. Another friend of mine takes several of his clients on excursions to a local winery. He ensures they get a tour, a private tasting of premium wines, and a fivestar dinner.

Develop guts to achieve glory

Develop guts to achieve glory

by: Nicholas Dixon

It is just amazing the amount of people who don’t have the courage to go after their dreams. They sit around living a life they are not happy with and still they do nothing about it.

And the funny thing is that if you should ask them the reason for this, they start finding excuses left, right and center. They vary from money to age to the economy and others you might be familiar with.

Many of us are waiting for Lady Luck to pay us a surprise visit. We blindly believe that that will be the end of our troubles. But this is hardly so.We have to work hard and wisely for the success we desire.

To make something of ourselves in this world calls for us to overcome obstacles and setbacks. But my biggest obstacle is my fears and you may find yourself in a similar position.

Not facing our fears and moving on could be the difference between success and failure. So whatกs to do ?

All it takes is the will and guts to go ahead and create something worthwhile in this world. We can all achieve success but we need to conquer our FEARS.

The man without fear is one who is not living. We all have our personal fears. It can be fear of failure, success or peopleกs opinion. But you have to face them to achieve success.

Ask any successful person and they will tell you this secret. A brave person is someone who acts in spite of his or her fears. So ask yourself, what fears do you need to conquer to reach your goals ?

To your success and mine……. ,

Nicholas

Goal Setting for a Successful Home Business.

Goal Setting for a Successful Home Business.

by: Ian Canaway

The ability to set goals and effectively motivate yourself to achieve them are two essential skills that will help you achieve success in you home business.

To try and start a business without goals could be compared to throwing a baseball pitch, blindfolded in the dark. What would be your chance of getting your pitch on target? Never mind getting a strikeout. Unless you are very lucky it is unlikely that you will have any success without properly setting out goals.

If when you start your home business, in what ever field it maybe, if you have no goals and aim at nothing, is it not unlikely that you will hit nothing and achieve nothing?

To set effective goals there are a few things you need to know about yourself which will affect how you set your goals. You are affected by, the environment in which you live, your experience and knowledge, your attitude and dreams and visions for the future.

When you set your goals you need to decide what you want and when you want to achieve each goal. You should spend time writing down your goals and display them in a prominent position where you will see them daily to remind yourself to stay motivated and focused. Cross off your goals once they’ve been achieved, adding new ones to ensure your business keeps growing.

ขDon’t set your Goals to low. If you don’t need much, you won’t become muchข. Jim Rohn

I’m sure you will have come across the SMART analogy, with regards to goal setting. It contains the most important concepts to consider and adhere to when setting your goals.

Goals should be; Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time related.

For example it would be unwise to set a goal of making $10,000 in a week, it’s just not a realistic goal for the average person, unless you have a lot of experience and knowledge in your field or receive help from someone who has these attributes. When you failed to reach this goal your motivation would suffer and you might start doubting your decision to start your home business.

Before you start setting your goals I want you to write a list of all the things you want; whether it is a new car, watch, house, to send your kids through college or a successful home business, write them all down and say why you want them. When I did this I had a list the length of my arm and I’m still working through it 3 years on. By doing this it will help focus your mind and motivate yourself to succeed.

Now set your goals, they need to be SMART and you need to set both short term and long term goals, and also daily goals. One of the best techniques I use is to set 6 goals before I go to bed for the next day and prioritise them so I know clearly in my mind what I have to do the next day.

All successful people set goals and prioritise them in order of importance. Remember your time is your most important asset; you simply cannot afford to waste it.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. Aristotle –

When you are in business for yourself, you are the primary motivating factor, if your truly want your home business to succeed you will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

By making goal setting a habit there is no reason why you cannot achieve excellence.

Rules for Achieving Online Success

Rules for Achieving Online Success

by: Nowshade Kabir

The Internet brought a great deal of benefits to our life. Access to a lot of free and useful information is, probably, one of the most important out of them. However, this abandon of free information has also become a problem to some extent. You started to spend a little too much time on the Internet. For you emails, chat rooms, messenger services along with aimless web browsing dominate substantial portion of your workdays. As a result you feel that you are loosing control of your working hours, your productivity is decreasing and you are accomplishing far less in a day than you are capable of. This makes you frustrated, miserable and negative. What to do? How to get out of this mess?

According to Brian Tracey, a renowned selfhelp guru, Principle of control is one of the most important factors of life. This principle ascertains that you feel positive about yourself to the degree to which you feel you are in control of your life. The same way, you feel negative about yourself to the degree to which you feel that you are controlled by external forces.

The thing is if you don’t feel positive about yourself, it would be impossible for you to become successful. This means to become happy and successful you need to regain control of your life. The following suggestions will help you achieve this:

Set Goals

Goals are like road maps. If you are planning to visit a new place and don’t grab a road map of the place with you, most certainly, you will have difficulties in finding the place. A written goal will give you a clear idea of what exactly you would like to achieve. Goals also give you a sense of control over your directions.

Goal should be Specific: I would like to become a better online businessman is not a goal. It’s a mere statement! Goals should have clear, substantiated and detailed target!

Goal should be measurable: I would like to get 100 thousand new visitors to my site within six months is a specific and measurable goal.

Goal should be realistic: I want my site to become like Yahoo! within one year is probably a unrealistic and impossible goal. If your goal is too easy to achieve or an impossible one to reach, you will soon loose interest in it. Make sure that your goal is high but attainable.

Set a deadline: Each of your goals should have specific deadlines for their achievement.

Create a detail plan of action: List every action you have to take in order to achieve a certain goal.

List obstacles: Write down all the obstacles that you might encounter on your way to reach this goal. Each time you overcome an obstacle from your list, you will feel good about yourself. This will work as a motivation for you to continue.

Make Lists

While developing your plan of actions for your goals, make two basic lists, a comprehensive master list and a more specific daily to do list.

The master list is a single ongoing list of all things that you plan to do in order to achieve your goals. It does not matter whether it is a major goal achieving work with a year long continuation or a small urgent task you need to finish today. Whenever you have come up with a task that you have to do, you add it to your master list.

Each evening create a specific daily to do list for the next work day. Make sure that this list is not too long; and all tasks of this list can be finished within the next working day. If some of the tasks, however, remain untouched at the end of the day, just roll them over to the next day’s list.

To use this list effectively you have to distribute your tasks according to their priorities.

Remember Priorities

Since it is impossible to predict whether you will be able to finish all the tasks from your list in one day, and since some of the tasks are more important than others; you should prioritized the tasks according to their importance in achieving your goals.

To develop a prioritybased to do list, write all the tasks you are planning to carry out the next day. Go through the list carefully and mark each of them according to their priority: A to be the most important and D to be the least important tasks of the list. Reconstruct the list according to the assigned priorities.

Start working form the task number one from you list and go down accordingly. This prioritybased to do list will be able to guarantee the followings:

You will know which tasks should be carried out first You will always have a comprehensive to do list, allowing you to focus on the things that you need to. However, make sure that you don’t have more than three tasks with highest priority. As too many high priority tasks will keep you under stress and will constantly distract you from the job at hand.

Focus on One Thing

To be successful in any field you need to have many qualities. The ability to focus on the tasks of highest priority and continue working on them until you bring them to their logical end is one of the vital skills of success. Many people of mediocre abilities achieved great success thanks to just this one single quality.

Once you made your to do list and prioritized it, concentrate on one task at a time. No matter what we do, our mind can concentrate in one thing at a time only. If you try to do several things simultaneously, this will only distract you and slower your pace in accomplishing the task with highest priority.

These simple and wellknown rules can really do miracles to your life! Try them, you won’t be disappointed!

The Right Mindset : Key To Success In Online Busin

The Right Mindset : Key To Success In Online Business

by: Arun Pal Singh

Today we are going to discuss a very important requirement to succeed in online business. In fact it is the important and essential ingredient of any successful venture. It becomes more relevant in running an online business because of the nature of the business involved. It is the most talked about and discussed element yet poorly understood and often neglected.

It is called MINDSET.

Every work you do will bring the desired outcome if you have the right mindset. The mindset to succeed and achieve.

What is a mindset?

It is the continuous state of mind filled with vibrant energy that entrusts success or failure.

Every great achievement is first achieved in the mind. You cannot achieve what your mind cannot conceive.

Before you jump to conclusion let me put a divider between the occasional wishful thinking and the mindset.

An idea is a force which when nurtured and cultivated would channelize the events to initiate the process of achievement. An idea might erupt from an occasional thinking. But that would be the end of that. You might build an empire on idea but you need to achieve what the idea perceives.

The mind is the source of that energy which will channelize the events. You have an idea and you are firm that it will work. When you have the right mindset you will believe that you can make it work. It is the belief in your self which differentiates the mindset as altogether a different entity from the occasional thinking.

It is because you can achieve only what you have achieved in the mind. It seems like a paradox but it is not.. Whatever you do your success cannot go beyond the ceiling that you have put on your mind. There are so many people in the world who dream of becoming rich but will never do. It is because of their mindset. The ceiling which they have put upon themselves will never let them to be.

Say you want to earn a million dollars. What do you need for that? First and foremost is the conviction that you can actually make the million dollars. How you are going to make it is the different issue. There are numerous possible ways. But first you need to be convinced that you actually will make those millions. When you are convinced you can actually feel like you have the millions. No I am not talking about some megalomania here. But the state where you can imagine being like a millionaire. It is a state where you almost can palpate the successful you in spite of whatever your financial position now is. You are no more doubtful of your success. Yes! The actual happening will take time but you have grown out of your imposed ceiling. That is the foremost requirement.

That state is the mindset. It will determine your actions to achieve the outcome of million dollars. As you move into the venture that will bring the harvest the mindset is further strengthened. More you are convinced sharper will be your vision and the actions.

Everything follows when you have the right mindset.

Part 2 of 5 How กPipe Dreamsก Can Become Realiti

Part 2 of 5 How กPipe Dreamsก Can Become Realities!

by: Jon Kogan

CATCH UP WITH YOURSELF
Nowกs the time to evaluate your life and your desires. Go ahead and test yourself nobodyกs looking. Try to find out what your inner desires really are. Once you know, you can formulate a plan of action, and then achieve your goals.
Right now, write down three things you want. Don’t spend time thinking about them just write them down. You may be surprised at what you want. Can you see any relation to the types of desires most sought for?
What accomplishment are you most proud of? What make you happy enough to be content, to feel totally relaxed, and to slide back with a smile on your face.
Without dwelling on failures, mistakes, or past ill feelings, quickly list the important accomplishments or your life. Think about the places you went to, the relationships you encountered, the education you received. Consider your job changes and positions, and the achievements related to work.
Put a star next to the most important accomplishments of your life. Is there any correlation with the list of the three things you want most?
MAKE PLANS
Before you go any further with your life, make a list for your future. Write it down don’t just think it. What would you like to accomplish in the next ten years? A new house, a highpaying position, a home in a new city, a trip around the world?
Break that list down into those things youกd like to accomplish in the next five years. Then make one further division into the next six months. What can you do in the next few months to further you towards your longterm goals?
GOAL SHEET
My most important desires are:

In my lifetime, the most important things Iกve accomplished:

If I looked back on my lifetime in 20 years, Iกd like to have accomplished:

Within 10 years, Iกd like to achieve:

Within 5 years, Iกd like to achieve:

In the next six months to a year, these are the things Iกm going to do to work towards by goals:

Regardless of your family commitments or your personal relationships; regardless of your business enterprises or any false sense of achievement, what do you really want?

Give yourself credit for your past accomplishments, and give yourself credit for your future achievements. You can and will attain all your goals, both longterm and shortterm if you approach them in a stepbystep fashion and if you believe that they are worthwhile for you.
YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN YOUR LIFE
Although you can be considerate of your environment and all the people in it, first consider yourself. Your wellbeing, your happiness, your success. Make a pact with yourself right now that you will achieve your goals. And make them realistic to reach. Then one by one, make your own life the success it deserves.
FIRST STEP RELAX
An important step in achieving goals is to be able to relax. Youกll get nowhere is your body and mind are nervous and jumping from one place or idea to another. In order to focus on your goal you must center your being.
Relaxation is the balance of the mental, spiritual and physical aspects of yourself. Set aside time each day for deep relaxation. Not sleep, but relaxation. The state of deep relaxation is a state of meditation. There are no thoughts in your mind. There are no physical ills or discomforts. You breathe in deeply, allowing the lungs to fill with fresh air, and you exhale all used and stale air. The blood circulates amply throughout every part of your body. You drift through space, ever towards your true destiny.
Exercise or sports is a good way to get into relaxation. The body needs physical stimulation to pump blood into all its extremities and to give the heart a good workout. Exercise is a wonderful way to let the mind relax, as you place your thoughts on the way your body moves. For many people, sports and exercise are enjoyable ways to feel alive, youthful, and fulfilled.
Then take time to relax. Lie down on your back with your arms out, palms up. Your feet should be about two feet about. You might clench your muscles first, then relax them. Allow your thoughts to drift, but don’t get caught in them. Watch them go by, as if they belong to somebody else.
If you have a special problem, tuck that in the back of your mind don’t dwell on it up front. Let yourself and your emotions go. Breathe out the negative feelings and emotions; breathe in positive, lifegiving air. Float freely. Relax. ASSUME THE BEST. Expect to achieve; expect to accomplish your desires; expect to win. Accept less, but push on to attain more. The higher your goals, the further youกll go.
The moon is no problem, nor are the neighboring planets. Soon human beings will see closeups of other star and galaxies. Don’t go for less that your full potential. Shoot for the universe. You owe yourself nothing less.
And aside from the universe, keep yourself on Earth, in your office or studio, working closer to those goals you want to attain.
You have a right to be happy. You have the means to be successful. You can succeed in what you desire.
Always keep in mind the fact that you are in transit, attaining your goals, moving through life as though you are an actor, and the setting is a stage.
Keep your thoughts firmly planted on prosperity, good fortune and lucky breaks. Assume that you will, in fact, nearly have accomplished your goals. It is with that attitude that successful people achieve.

Life as an Island Marketer

Life as an Island Marketer

by: Nicholas Dixon

For some time now I have been an island marketer and the journey as been worth every moment. When I first discovered the Net, all I used to do was read my emails and surf.
Then I realized that the net had more than that to offer to me. There are opportunities being thrown all around at you from all angles as soon as you log on.
Schemers, scammers and legitimate marketers are all clamoring for your attention and money. Make $10,000 in 30 days claims, emails from relatives of dead African leaders, various affiliate programs and many more are all common anywhere you go.
I used to believe all the hype surrounding becoming wealthy off the Net, but time and experience all changed that. It is possible to make money on the internet, but you better be prepared for the long haul. It takes time to become an overnight success, well that is what I heard and it is so true.
I think some of the hype online is true indeed. I have heard of marketers making thousands of dollars in a few days without much effort. This is where so many people go astray. They believe that they can do the same starting today and have money lining their pockets by next week.
But the truth is the hype is only half true. What they fail to Tell you is that yes it can be accomplished, it just takes a lot of work and discipline to reach that level. Most marketers work for years before they achieve what the hypers are preaching.
But don’t go beating yourself. It is all part of our human nature and many persons suffer from this weakness. Many want to achieve success and live a dream life, but when it comes down to working for it they want to skip out that part.
Every successful person deserves to be where they are because They worked for what they wanted. They craved success like any human being, but the difference is that they all put their shoulders to the wheel.
In other words, they believe that grime pays. To start, much less run and maintain a business takes guts and a strong belief in one’s abilities and talents. In the long run, it is all worth it though.
I would rather work for several years without accomplishing much and knowing that sooner or later it will all payoff many times over. Or I could just ride the currents of life and hope that fortune falls on me from the sky.
If you had the choice which would you choose?
