กBloggingก For Fun & Profits

กBloggingก For Fun & Profits

by: Jim Edwards

Unless youกve been under a rock for the last year, youกve heard the term กblogก once or twice.

To most people, a กblogก simply represents a glorified online กdiaryก where geeks, computer nerds, and lonely teenagers record their thoughts in cyberspace.

However, many people don’t realize that กblogsก are quietly revolutionizing the way companies and customers interact about everything from existing products to new ideas and improvements in customer service.

In short, กblogก style communication has come of age and anyone with an online business better sit up and take notice fast!

In the beginning, กblogsก were basically an online diary to record your thoughts; but กblogsก have now evolved into dynamic websites that nontechnical people can update immediately without html editors or ftp programs.

Blogs allow their authors to make instant website updates through a computer anywhere in the world with a Web browser and Internet connection.

Blogs also allow readers to respond to the authorกs posts, provide additional information, links, expanded opinions, and more.

In short, an active กblogก creates an interactive community with the author as the hub and the readers as the spokes of the wheel that keep the whole cycle turning round.

Unlike traditional กstaticก web pages where content rarely (if ever) changes, an active blog evolves in a state of constant and neverending renewal.

With blogs, smart online businesses rediscovered a principal that small กmom and popก stores understood for years: know your customers and stay in close tune with their wants, needs, and desires.

Large companies throw billions of dollars down a black hole every year to literally กguessก what people want to buy. Most call it the กMarketing Department.ก

On the flipside, smart online businesses understand that blogs allow you to avoid guessing whatกs on your customersก minds and provide an active and uptotheminute means for them to tell you exactly what they do and don’t like about your services, products, and virtually any other aspect of the market.

This lightning fast communication makes it possible for small companies to literally snatch huge market share away from more traditional companies.

Blogging also has a distinct advantage over traditional email newsletters in that subscribers can get udpates without having to receive an email message. Through the power of RSS (real simple syndication), subscribers get notified of updated content though an rss news reader.

Bottom Line: publishing a blog with an RSS feed that your readers can subscribe to means your content NEVER gets blocked by a SPAM filter.

Blog software basically comes in 2 flavors: hosted and standalone. Hosted blogging solutions make it extremely easy to get set up with a blog, often in just a couple of minutes.

If you know how to type, you can create a blog. Log on to Blogger.com and you can set up a blog free of charge and start posting in just a few minutes.

Blogger.com (owned by search giant, Google) will even host your blog on their servers.

Typepad.com, which charges as little as $4.95 per month, is also an excellent hosted service offering additional features that enable you to quickly get your own blog up and running.

The alternative is standalone blogging software installed on your own website.

A very popular solution is Moveable Type, available from moveabletype.org, which provides a very versatile and powerful suite of tools for creating a fullfeatured blog to rival that of any size company in the world.

This is the solution Iกve chosen for my blog at http://www.IGottaTellYou.com/blog/

Whichever blogging solution you choose, if you plan to successfully conduct any form of business online, understand that a กblogก must form an integral part of your overall plan for customer communication and interaction.

10 HighImpact Viral Marketing Strategies

10 HighImpact Viral Marketing Strategies

by: Keith Gloster

The term กviral marketingก has been tossed around the Internet for the past two or three years now. If youกve been marketing online for a while, chances are that youกve heard legendary marketers like Mark Joyner, Marlon Sanders and Yanik Silver refer to this term countless times.

But do you REALLY understand what this marketing term means and how it can greatly impact the success of your online business?

If not, hereกs a brief definition:

Viral marketing involves allowing people to give away and use your free product or service in order to multiply your marketing quickly over the Internet.

The idea behind viral marketing is that you include your ad with the freebie people give away or use. Below are ten high impact viral marketing strategies:

Allow people to reprint your articles on their web site, in their ezine, newsletter, magazine or ebooks. Include your resource box and the option for article reprints at the bottom of each article.

Allow people to use any of your freebies as free bonuses for products or services they sell. Include your ad inside all of your freebies.

Allow people to use your online discussion board for their own web site. Some people don’t have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board.

Allow people to sign up for a free web site on your server. Since you are giving away the space, require them to include your banner ad at the top of the site.

Allow people to add their link to your free web site directory. Just require that they return a link back to your web site, advertising your directory.

Allow people to provide your free online service to their web site, visitors, or ezine subscribers. They could be free email, email consulting, search engine submissions, etc.

Allow people to give away your free software. Just include your business advertisement inside the software program.

Allow people to give away your free web design graphics, fonts, templates, etc. Just include your ad on them or require people to link directly to your web site.

Allow people to place an advertisement in your free ebook if, in exchange, they give away the ebook to their web visitors or ezine subscribers.

Allow people to give away your free ebook to their visitors. Then, their visitors will also give it away. This will just continue to spread your ad all over the Internet.

Now that you have a better understanding of viral marketing and the above 10 strategies, whatกs next? Start experimenting with what youกve discovered. Use one or more of these proven strategies. Brand yourself and grow your list and income exponentially.

In Internet Marketing You Must Have a Strategy

In Internet Marketing You Must Have a Strategy

by: Linda Quinones

When you make the decision to start an Internet business or for that matter any business you must have a plan (strategy). This is essential in order to succeed.

You don’t throw a dart at a list of possible business opportunities and settle for the one where the dart lands.

It must be a well thought out decision and plan on how you are going to make money in the business, if you read all the hype out there that tells you all you have to do is spend a couple of bucks, get a website and lay back and watch the money come in think again.

First don’t spend any money on those fancy internet ads telling how they guarantee you that the money will start rolling in as soon as you buy the software they are peddling.

There is a lot of good software out there, but if you are somewhat technically challenged, spend some time doing research the time spent will save you money and aggravation.

Remember the old saying haste makes waste, so take your time and read as many articles as you can on what exactly it is that you want to do.

The Internet is loaded with information on Internet marketing some very good and some not so good, so spend some time sorting the information out.

If you have expertise in a particular area and there is room for one more then start formulating a plan. Companies without a plan will either fail or develop one in midstream. It’s preferable to have one from the beginning in order to measure your progress and see if everything is going according to plan.

The plan must be flexible and allow you to change directions as you go along, as you gain experience your will want to make adjustments.

BUILD YOUR OWN WEBSITE.

First step should to get a website with your own domain name, many people get involved in MLM’s to avoid doing the work.

That is the lazy men’s way to go, having your own website is a must, it allow to track the traffic and see where your customers are coming from.

If you are paying for business you want to make sure your money is being well spent, you are in business to make money.

SELECT YOUR BUSINESS.

Determine what type of product(s) you want to sell, if you are going to have different type of stores the select a mixture of well know stores and lesser known ones.

The well known names usually pay a smaller commission than the less known counterparts. You need the high paying stores to carry the low paying ones.

This will allow you to offer incentives to Businesses and other customers you want to make regular visitors to your site. KEYWORDS.

Keywords are extremely important to your business plan, after all you want customer to be able to find you when searching by keyword.

So use every conceivable combination possible to allow for different variations and misspelling. When someone types into the search engine a product, you want to be found.

GET LINKS.

Have linking strategy reciprocal linking is an important part of page ranking with search engines, reciprocal linking is another way of getting traffic from other sites that are similar to yours.

Links coming into your site will go a long way in optimizing your site, but don’t pay for links, some of the link farms out there with thousands of links will not do anything for you.

PAY PER CLICK.

Pay per click is the quickest way to generate traffic to your site.

Develop a strategy to have your customer willingly provide their email address so that you can inform them of money saving promotions by the affiliates.

Once you have developed a large enough mailing list this will provide you with a steady source of potential repeat customers.

If you don’t promote your site nobody will come so advertise your site and entice people to come and spend some money.

Advertising doesn’t cost…it pays!

Advertising doesn’t cost…it pays!

by: Robert Kennedy

Well this has been a busy day. I am truly fatigued. So I may cut my writings today short, but not cheap. We set a sales record today and entered more new printing orders than any other day since our inception in 1989. Today was a banner day…great.

What I want to write about today was advertising…

When should I advertise?

How should I advertise?

How much of a budget should I allow?

These are the three BASIC questions each business needs to answer before listing in any advertising campaign, online or offline. I will address each of these points very briefly in a matter of opinion.

When should I advertise? When you’re busy. Many businesses make the mistake of advertising when they are not busy. This will often lead to the ‘feast or famine’ result. The time to advertise is always. If you need to start somewhere advertise when you are busy and watch the peeks and valleys level out.

How often should I advertise? Repetition is good, it helps create brand awareness. Find the venue that works best for you and stick with it. Keep flow charts running so you can calculate return. Advertising, done properly doesn’t cost…it pays.

How much of a budget should I allow? This answer usually comes from your business plan. Work your plan and plan your work. If you come in under budget and achieved or exceed projected results put the funds into growth of your business.

Here are a few free tips that may help you:

Tip 1

Do me a favor. The next time you are shopping at your local WalMart, Home Depot or Tops, create a third eye for ADVERTISING. Walk the isles you would normally walk and buy the items you would normally buy. At the same time, keep your third eye opened. You will begin to recognize some common factors. Signage colors, placement of merchandise, free sample booths or aroma of baked goods. Allow these corporate giants to show you some advertising psychology that has proven success and apply these concepts in your world.

Tip 2

If you are an online business, exposure to search engines is becoming increasing difficult. Search engines are where most websites receive visitors from. Once your website is completed and ready for business submit it to search engines, guides and directories. Especially the more prominent ones such as Google, Yahoo, MSN. You may even want to consider a paid listing at Yahoo. Google offers AdWords and AdSense, great programs. AdSense offers you revenue opportunities fir running text ads on your site. Every time the ads get clicked Google will pay you. On the other side there is AdWords. AdWords offer you an opportunity to advertise your product offerings in the text ads that appear on there search pages. In both cases all you need to do is apply:

AdWords https://adwords.google.com/select/

AdSense https://www.google.com/adsense/

Tip 3

Design and print quality marketing material. So many businesses try to cut costs in the wrong areas, when it comes down to your image don’t cheap out. Also do not forget to print your website address all of your company’s printing and marketing material. It would surprise you the amount of times I see this being overlooked. Keep all of your expensive, high quality printing brief in content and more about image. Why, you might ask? Unfortunately, in my business I have seen my share of wasted printed matter because someone didn’t proof read the properly, product information changed or prices changed. Display all of this information on your website, changes are far easier and cheaper to implement.

How to Republish RSS Feeds On Your Website

How to Republish RSS Feeds On Your Website

by: Allan Burns

In this article I am going to cover some tools that you can use that will allow you to publish RSS feeds on your site. This will allow you to have fresh, updated content on your site and you have control of what sort of content you display and how often it is updated.

First off if you do not know much about RSS or feel you require more information take a look at this RSS publishers FAQ and then rejoin us again later.

There are several ways you can go about publishing RSS content, two of which this article will cover are using third party software that will take care of the RSS republishing for you. The second is to use some freely available PHP code to generate your RSS pages.

If you do not what PHP is or have little knowledge or PHP or programming then I would recommend that you use RSS Equalizer which takes care of the complicated stuff for you. RSS Equalizer produces HTML format pages that it has transformed from the RSS feeds it is using as its source.

RSS Equalizer is a PHP script that runs from your server so you will need to make sure your host can run PHP, most web hosts do. Once installed and set up RSS Equalizer can be left to parse content from the RSS feeds and produce a readable HTML format pages on your website.

If you have any programming experience or know a little PHP then there are some other free tools that you can use. These PHP scripts will allow you to parse RSS feeds and if you know PHP will give you more options for customisation. These tools are CaRP, Last RSS and zFeeder.

If you have the time and feel you can handle the PHP then the free PHP scripts above will be your best option. If you neither have the time or the inclination and want the hard work already done for you then try out RSS Equalizer, its not free but itกs the best option for the non programmer.

The Importance of Testing Ad Campaigns

The Importance of Testing Ad Campaigns

by: Julie Martin

Before you go out and throw thousands of dollars into an advertising campaign, it is much smarter to try several inexpensive test campaigns first. This will allow you to target your market more effectively and work through any problems before your ad ends up flopping. The most important key to an effective advertising campaign is knowing your business and your advertising methods inside and out.

The best way to start testing your ad campaign is by researching similar businesses and seeing what methods of advertising they are currently employing. If it is working for them, chances are, it will work for your company as well. You can save a lot of time and money by taking the time to see what the competition is doing first. It is of course, impossible to know for sure if their campaigns are successful, but you can use a helpful tool to gauge how much traffic they are receiving.

Alexa.com is a free website ranking tool. It will allow you to type in your competitors web addresses and see the kind of traffic they are getting. You can also put in your own URL to see how you are doing in the meantime. This is a terrific, free way to keep an eye on the competition and watch your back at the same time.

Now that you have looked around to see what is working for your competitors, is there anyway to improve on their campaign ideas? This planning stage is so important as you build an effective ad campaign. Try to ask your family and friends for some ideas and their suggestions as you go. Their advice should be free and might help point out areas you may have overlooked.

You have planned out your ad campaign – now what about your target market? Advertising on the Internet is truly beneficial to small businesses as you can tailor your advertising to the smallest niche market and still reach consumers. Again, you will need to research your market carefully to see who and where your customers are.

After doing all of this planning, you are now ready to begin throwing out the first breadcrumbs of your ad campaign. It is quite similar to feeding birds in a park. Instead of rushing out and buying an expensive designer loaf of cranberry bread, it would be much smarter to buy one piece and test it out on the birds first. If they like it, you can return the next day armed with your expensive bread. If they don’t, you aren’t out as much money as you would have been had you purchased the entire loaf.

How do I test my campaign cheaply and effectively? There are several methods you can employ that will allow you to test your ad for practically nothing or as close to it as you can get. Try advertising in ezines first, this will allow you to gauge potential consumer interest. Most ezines charge a very small amount for ad space and some even offer free ads for new subscribers. If this works well for you, you can begin by using Google AdWords and setting a small budget at first for your test run.

You can use the keywords that grabbed the most attention in your ezine advertising, which will save you the expense and time of trying to get just the right combination. If this trial run works well for you, you are ready to begin pumping more money into your advertising campaign. If not, you can still retool and retry until you get it right.

By testing out your campaign first, you can spare yourself the pain of an expensive advertising flop and you are almost guaranteed to learn a lot about advertising on the way. Start small and then as you get the knack down for your business, start to expand. It may take a little longer, but it will be worth it as you hone your skills for future campaigns.

Understanding Survey Software Features

Understanding Survey Software Features

by: Nick Hill

If you take a look at the features that different survey softwares offer, you will quickly realize that understanding all of them is no mean task. But it is very important that you do because only then you can choose the right survey software. It is important for one other reason, it determines your price. More features invariably means more dollars. So if you don’t choose the right survey software, you might end up paying more for features you don’t need.
While it is impossible and not even worthwhile to look at all the features, here is a look at some of the important ones. Chances are that these are the ones will make or break your decision. The features have been divided into 6 categories based on their function in the process of conducting an online survey.
Survey creation

Images, sounds, video This allows you to insert images, sounds, and videos in your surveys, and can enhance the appearance of your surveys. However, use it only when necessary since it increases the time it takes to download and display your survey, and certainly don’t overdo it.
Question library, response library, sample surveys These allow you to create surveys quickly since you don’t have to create them from scratch. They are a must if you do a lot of surveys regularly. And they don’t impact the price that much, so you might as well opt for them.
Skip logic This allows you to skip questions depending on the answers to previous questions. Most survey softwares allow either AND or OR logic to decide whether to skip or not, but some allow a combination of any logical conditions. It might sound like a กnicetohaveก feature rather than a กmusthaveก, but you will be surprised how often you need to skip questions in your surveys.
Data piping This allows you to use the answers to some questions in the following questions. This is a very neat feature and it allows you to กpersonalizeก your surveys. For e.g., you can say ‘thanks Steveก instead of only ‘thanksก if you know that the name of the respondent is Steve from a previous question. It also allows you to ask questions like กWhat do you like most about Coke?ก when the respondent has selected Coke as his/her favorite drink in the previous question.
Advanced survey creation features (spell check, autocorrect, thesaurus, import from MS Word) These are fairly advanced features and not really required in most cases, especially if you don’t do surveys regularly. You can spend the time to spell check the survey yourselves. However, if you do a lot of surveys, then you might want these features. But they will impact the price quite a lot since they are considered as กpremiumก features.
Branding (your logo and background color) This allows you to place your company logo and use your company websiteกs background color for your surveys. This is good enough in most cases, but not if you are looking to customize each and every aspect of the survey. It is quite an important feature since it gives your respondents the feeling that they are still on your website.
Advanced survey presentation features (predesigned editable survey templates, new templates, fullcustomized look) These are fairly advanced features and allow you to customize almost every aspect of the survey. Survey softwares do this in a variety of ways: they have predesigned editable templates, ability to create new templates, or create surveys with a fullcustom look. These features are also considered as กpremiumก features and will impact the price quite a lot.

Survey Distribution and Tracking

Handheld device This allows you to distribute your surveys on hendheld devices. This method of distributing is not as common as the other methods like placing link on website, embedding entire survey in websites, sending email invitation with link, or embedding entire survey in emails and newsletters. But it is definitely becoming popular because of the convenience it offers for taking surveys กon the roadก. As of now though, it is considered as a กpremiumก feature and will impact the price.
Track respondents These allow you to track your respondents after they receive your email invitations. The simpler ones allow you to maintain an email list and send email invitations to all or some email addresses in the list. The more complex ones allow you to create an กaudienceก from the list in a variety of ways. They also allow you to track who read your email invitation and clicked on what links, who took the survey and who didn’t, send reminders to the ones who didn’t, etc. All these complex tracking activities fall more under the realm of กcampaign managementก than conducting surveys though. If you need these features, you are much better off going for a fullblown campaign management solution than a survey solution with half of what you need.

Taking Survey

Password protected surveys This allows you to protect your surveys with a password. The respondents have to know the password to be able to take the survey.
Save and continue later This allows your respondents to save the survey and continue later. It is a very good feature to have especially if your surveys are going to be long. Some survey softwares make the respondents explicitly save a link and bookmark it to continue later. These don’t work that well compared to some others that don’t require the respondents to do as much.
Response validation This allows you to validate the responses your respondents enter. These features are very important since they ensure that your respondents enter กvalidก responses and increases the quality of the results. Always prefer survey softwares that have more types of response validation.
Respondent uniqueness control This allows you to ensure that a respondent takes the survey only once. There are a few ways to do this and not all of them are กfullproofก. If you want to strictly enforce respondent uniqueness, make sure that the survey software allows you to send unique URLs to every email recipient. It is the only กfullproofก method of enforcing respondent uniqueness.

Response Collection

Email notification upon response submission This allows you to get email notifications when a respondent completes a survey. It is the only way to get the responses with survey softwares that don’t store them in a database. But it is also offered as an addon by those that do store them in databases.

Survey Analysis

Graphical reports This allows you to graph the results and not all survey softwares have this feature. If you like to see results in neatlooking graphs, make sure that the survey software has this feature. Check out the sample reports; most companies have them on their website. Or better yet, try out the product and generate them yourselves!
Advanced analysis features (crosstabulation, subset analysis, 360 degree feedback, etc) These allow you to perform advanced analysis on the results. Crosstabulation allows you to relate the responses of one question to those of another. Subset analysis allows you to perform analysis on a subset of the responses by filtering out certain responses. These are definitely กpremiumก features and will impact the price.
Export data This allows you to export the responses so you can do analyses in your favorite tool, like Excel or SPSS. Make sure that the survey software has this feature, especially if it doesn’t natively support the advanced analyses that you want to do.

Report Distribution

Save in PDF, Word, Excel, Powerpoint format This allows you to save the report in one of the mentioned formats. It is a very convenient feature to have if you are going to distribute your report a lot.

The Flu and List building Go Hand In Hand!

The Flu and List building Go Hand In Hand!

by: Melvin Perry

What does the flu have to do with building your list?

Well a lot!

A flu, just like any other virus is able to spread itself to anyone it comes in contact with.

And when we are building are email lists, we want this same type of viral effect to take place. This viral effect is known as viral marketing.

Viral Marketing is allowing people to giveaway and use your free product or service in order to spread your message quickly over the internet. I also call this form of marketing wild fire marketing because as soon as it starts, it will spread your marketing all over the internet like a wild forest fire. When this happens, it will be difficult to stop it.

The idea behind viral marketing is that you include your ad with a freebie people giveaway or use. The ad will be an advertisement of your ezine or newsletter. Below are ten high impact viral marketing strategies:

1. Allow people to use any of your freebies as free bonuses for products or services they sell. Include your ad on all your freebies. A lot of product owners are willing to do this.

2. Allow people to reprint your articles on their web site, in their ezine, newsletter, magazine or ebooks. Include your resource box and the option for article reprints at the bottom of each article.

3. Allow people to add their link to your free web site directory. Just require that they return a link back to your web site, advertising your directory.

4. Allow people to sign up for a free web site on your server. Since you are giving away the space, require them to include your banner ad at the top of the site.

5. Allow people to use your online discussion board for their own web site. Some people don’t have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board.

6. Allow people to provide your free online service to their web site, visitors, or ezine subscribers. They could be free email, email consulting, search engine submissions, etc. This is how hotmail grew 12 million subscribers in 1.5 years.

7. Allow people to give away your free software. Just include your business advertisement inside the software program.

8. Allow people to give away your free web design graphics, fonts, templates, etc. Just include your ad on them or require people to link directly to your web site.

9. Allow people to place an advertisement in your free ebook if, in exchange, they give away the ebook to their web visitors or ezine subscribers.

10. Allow people to give away your free ebook to their visitors. Then, their visitors will also give it away. This will just continue to spread your ad all over the internet.

If you combine some of these viral marketing tactics with your list building efforts, you will explode your list in no time.

Maybe you could become the next hotmail?!

Well even if you don’t, you will still build a monsterous sized list quickly.

Here is a free resource that will help you build a gigantic list within 90 days. If you are interested in this resource, visit http://www.workingonyourown.com/50kreport/.

Soaring With the Direct Marketing Eagles

Soaring With the Direct Marketing Eagles

by: Willie Crawford

Many years ago, there was a popular humorous say that went something like, กItกs hard to soar with the eagles when you hang out with the turkeys.ก The message of course was that your accomplishments are limited by those that you spend most of your time with.

Experts on what it takes to achieve great things have long recognized this fact. Look at any personกs 10 closest associates and you can estimate that personกs earning potential within a few thousand dollars per year. It will be very close to the groupกs average. Part of the reason thatกs true is because the group defines whatกs expected of its members. Any member stepping out of line is somehow admonished for กrocking the boat.ก

To change your income, you DO have to change who you associate with. You don’t have to drop your friends, but you do have to associate with those already doing what you want to do. You do have to associate with those already earning what you plan on earning. You need this กassociationก to elevate your thinking.

My friend Joel Christopher is the perfect example of this concept in action. Joel immigrated from the Philippines many year ago, and worked as a physical therapist for a while. However, he was attracted to the Internet marketing arena by several factors including the possibility of increased earning and the fact that an Internet business would allow him to spend more time with his family.

When I first met Joel in 2002, I noticed that he had surrounded himself with some of the best Internet marketers around. At a seminar he sponsored, I saw that he had Dr. Joe Vitale, Marlon Sanders, Terry Dean, and Paul Myers, and many other people I revered speaking. I later learned that Joe Vitale was part of his mastermind group. Marlon and Joel were such close friend that Marlon had moved to the same neighborhood that Joel was in, and they often went for long walks where they brainstormed.

As I saw what Joel was doing, I also decided that I would soar with the eagles. I had proof beyond dispute that associating with very successful people would eventually pull anyone closer to their level. Actually, I had watched this concept at work during my many years in the U.S. Air Force. Those who aspired to be generals knew that they had to spend time being mentored and groomed by generals. It was common knowledge that without a กsponsorก you would never make the higher ranks no matter how well you did your job.

Every Second Lieutenant is advised to volunteer for all kinds of projects just to get noticed by the กhigher ups.ก

Getting back to my friend Joel and the art of associating with ‘the right peopleก… Joel is now a partner with Ted Nicholas, ‘the 4 Billion Dollar Man.ก Ted is called this because his copywriting and direct marketing skills have managed to sell that much merchandise over the years. Most of this was through mail order. Ted is a direct marketing genius that can hold an audience captivated for hours! My library is filled with recordings of his presentations.

Ted Nicholas is the bestselling author of 15 books including his latest masterpiece กHow To Turn Words Into Moneyก Heกs considered the กKing of Printก, the กCopywriterกs Copywriterก, the กEntrepreneurกs Entrepreneurก and the กGodFather of Direct Marketing.ก Ted is the guru that many other great copywriters learned from and someone Iกm now learning from.

Joel is also now a partner with Carl Turner. Carl was กmarketing legendก Jay Abrahamกs กright hand manก for years! When I last called Joelกs office number, Carl returned the call. Call has also now moved to San Antonio to work closer with Joel.

What’s the point in all of this rambling. Simply that if you aspire to higher levels of accomplishment, you absolutely must associate with those who can help shape your thinking appropriately. You must กhitch your wagon to a star.ก

You must not only understand the art of pulling yourself up to the next level, you must also take action. As an example, I aspired to be at the level Joel and all of those speakers were at when I attended Joelกs seminar in 2002. On March 18th 19th of this year, I will be on stage at Joel Christopherกs and Ted Nicholasก Double Birthday Bash in San Antonio, Texas. Several years of associating with and allowing these marketing geniuses to teach me has pulled me closer to where I want to be.

Iกd like to encourage you to join us in San Antonio this month. Youกll get to associate with all of the major players at a giant birthday party. Youกll get to learn from, form associations with, and identify those who can help make your Internet marketing dreams a reality. These dreams could be as simple as launching your next software or ebook project, or they could be 7figure aspirations as mine are.

To sign up for the double birthday bash and hang out with the direct marketing and Internet marketing elite, visit: http://WillieCrawford.com/birthdaybash.html

Why do Joel and I spend so much time and energy getting to know and partner with people like Ted. We understand that you have to:

Allow others to expand what you believe to be possible.

Allow others to demonstrate to you what is doable.

Allow others to hold you accountable for what you say you’re going to accomplish.

Those are the real reasons you want to allow the eagles to teach you to soar. And in case you’re wondering, I have no intention of moving to San Antonio I love the Florida beaches too much 🙂

10 SureFire Viral Marketing Strategies To Increas

10 SureFire Viral Marketing Strategies To Increase Traffic To Your Website

by: Gina GaudioGraves, Esq.

กViral Marketingก is giving something away for free and allowing people to pass it on to others. The main purpose of viral marketing is to spread your message to as many people as possible without having to spend any money for advertising.

In order to start an effective viral marketing campaign, you need to provide people with a reason for passing your information around. For example, jokes are often passed around just because they are funny. However, how often have you forwarded an ad for an eBook on to other people? Unless you were an affiliate of that eBook, you probably never sent it on to a single person.

So, when you think about using viral marketing online to obtain free traffic for your website, be creative! Think about the various reasons that a person would have for passing your message around. Freebies are a good way of using viral marketing online. Provide something to your visitors, customers, and mailing list and allow people to giveaway and use your free product or service in order to multiply your marketing quickly over the internet. The idea behind viral marketing is that you include your ad with the freebie people giveaway or use.

Below are ten high impact viral marketing strategies:

1. Write articles that pertain to your product or service. Allow people to reprint your articles on their website, in their ezine, newsletter, magazine or ebooks. Include your resource box and the option for article reprints at the bottom of each article. If you have an affiliate program, let them include an affiliate ID in the resource box!

2. You can easily find products on the internet that will sell you a license allowing you to distribute the product free of charge to other people. Look for those products that provide กbranding rightsก. That is where you can include your own name, website, and contact information. Then, simply allow people to use any of these กfreebiesก as free bonuses for products or services they sell. Include your ad on all your freebies.

3. If you have the ability to set up a forum or other bulletin board, you really have a great tool. Allow people to use your online discussion board for their own website. Some people don’t have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board. (Don’t have a way to set up a forum or bulletin board? Some hosting services allow you to set one up for free just by using a กsnap inก script. For example, you can check out our host that includes tons of these services at no extra cost!)

4. If you are using a dedicated server (instead of simply using a one site hosting account), you can allow people to sign up for a free web site on your server. Since you are giving away the space, require them to include your banner ad at the top of the site. (Note: Even if you are using a single hosting account, you may still be able to take advantage of this idea if you can set up unlimited subdomains with their own domain names. Many hosting companies will let you do this for a small, one time charge.)

5. Set up a reciprocal links directory on your site. There are tons of reliable software programs that are fairly inexpensive that make doing this a breeze! You simply allow people to add their link to your free web site directory. Just require that they return a link back to your web site, advertising your directory. Make sure you provide people with a link from your main pages to get to your directory and add their reciprocal link.

6. Allow people to provide your free online service to their web site, visitors, or ezine subscribers. This could be free email, email consulting, search engine submissions, etc. Your imagination is the limit! Think about this for a little while. What do you have that you can give away free? How about a short report on your niche market? Use the tools that you have available (such as an autoresponder) to make this even easier for you to manage.

7. Allow people to give away your free software. Just include your business advertisement inside the software program. There are many tools available that allow you to กbrandก the software with your contact information and message. Simply pay for these rights and the software is yours free! Or, you can even find some programs that allow you to create your own software. Use the search engines for some ideas.

8. Do you have a knack for web design? Create some templates, graphics, etc. and upload them to your site. Then, allow people to give away your free web design graphics, fonts, templates, etc. Just include your ad on them or require people to link directly to your web site. Make sure that you include a link back to your site in the copyright notice as well and require them to keep your copyright notice in tact.

9. Write an ebook. Allow people to place an advertisement in your free ebook if, in exchange, they give away the ebook to their web visitors or ezine subscribers.

10. Purchase the branding rights to a viral eBook. Allow people to give away your free ebook to their visitors. Then, their visitors will also give it away. This will just continue to spread your ad all over the internet.
