You Must Learn For Your Business To Earn

You Must Learn For Your Business To Earn

Are you aware of the reason why most people fail in their online ventures? It is because most of them don’t know and more importantly are reluctant to command the language and gadgets of the web. Put it simply, they are uncomfortable with the technology the internet uses.

Just floating a website and starting a business is not enough. This is crucial first step, no doubt. One has to work further on his business to succeed. The lack of web knowledge might prove to be a handicap.

Please allow me to be clear. Let me be heard loudly and oppose those who say the opposite. To succeed online one must equip himself with technical knowhow.

If one does not know the technological part experts can be hired but they come at a price which is almost always unaffordable by a starter of the small business. So this choice is always out. There is no other option left than to know how to do it yourself. Earlier you realize it better it would be.

When I started my online home based business I was a novice on the net. Plethora of new terms like HTML, FTP, POP3, email aliases, bandwidth, cgi, php etc. etc. etc. did not make any sense at all.

I tried working by approximation but that made me uncomfortable. I could not make the small change in my site that I always wanted to. Every now and then a new or old term would appear again and I was left in a state of confusion.

Because I was uncomfortable I could not concentrate on my business. I could not focus where I should have been. Lack of vocabulary and technical knowledge always held me back. I was a businessman who was not confident of what he was doing. I kept incurring losses until my slumber was broken.

Then I realized I got to learn my basics. I could not always bother others about ขhow to do this and how could I do thatข. Even if somebody is kind enough to reply, the fear of unknown always diminishes the confidence to take the bold step.

Moreover when you get over one, there is something waiting again to be stumbled upon.

Earlier you know your gadgets, better it is. Especially the ones which will be needed frequently. Among these the most important is HTML. It is easy to learn and makes you confident enough to bring those small changes in your site or putting up additional by yourself.

So is setting up of auto responders or email aliases, how to transfer files between your computer and website server, how to use soft wares for making extra profit.

Sooner or later you would need to put your business on autopilot. Knowledge of knowhow would make it much easier

You are the master of your ship. To sail smoothly you must know the tools. Get a fair idea of how the internet works. For example what happen behind those graphics when you click or type a URL? It is not necessary to master everything but having an idea is must

Get a good grasp over the web vocabulary. You will emerge more powerful, more confident.

It calls for some work but time spent on this would bring rewards in future. There are many good books available. Internet is itself a good source to search for everything. Programmes or softwares also come with inbuilt help. That too enhances the working knowledge. Find ‘the how to’ wherever you can get.

By and by you will find that you have accumulated a wealth called knowledge which gives you a cutting edge of many others who don’t possess it.

The Tale of the King and His Wealth

The Tale of the King and His Wealth

by: Arun Pal Singh

Once lived a great king who was getting old and wanted to retire. One day he announced that all his personal wealth would be distributed to the public. However one would have to earn his share as the king did not want the wealth to go to unworthy.

His wealth would be in the seven stories of his palace. One might take whatever one wished, he announced. The word spread fast and people gathered. No one wanted to miss this opportunity of getting rich.

The entrance was opened and people eagerly rushed in. Presented to them were common items of pottery, glass and earth. They checked every place. Nothing else was there. People got disappointed. This was not what they had expected. Many left cursing.

Others decided to try second floor. As they moved there they found things which were costlier but nothing which could be called wealth. Many left again. It was wastage of time after all. The king either had gone mad or played a bad joke

Rest of them pushed themselves to the next level through a passage that was narrower and steeper. Here displayed were some coins of lesser value. Discouraged quite a number left again. I was clear now that the king had really played a joke. There was no wealth to be found.

Few who were encouraged enough resolved to go to further. They had to walk a path harder than previous. Those who could not tread returned. Only a handful reached fourth storey and were rewarded with silver coins.

Joyfully many stuffed and left. Thank God! The day was not wasted on some misadventure. They had come from far. They were tired now. They did not want to go further. They had work at their homes too.

However, ten people decided to go ahead. It was a very difficult journey. The was almost vertical and very rough. Only four could reach next level. Others left, not being able to continue. Those who reached found gold coins in abundance. Two decided to end here and left with gold happily.

Two went further on a path that was almost impossible to walk. They did manage to reach sixth floor. It was a hall full of diamonds of finest quality.

Pleased with this one started filling his bags whereas other went into deep thoughts.

ขWhat happened? You don’t want thisข asked the one who was filling.

ขI wonder what could be next!ข

ขWhat else do you want? This is more than enough for seven lifetimes. Moreover I can’t see any doorwayข Other man was astonished.

ขBut there is one floor leftข said the man who was determined and began his search.

ขYou have gone madข said other and left with diamonds.

There was actually no door. The man searched every corner but none was to be found. That was until he saw roof and a rope hanging too small to reach. He jumped and failed. He tried repeatedly without success till he could not jump.

There has to be some way, he thought as he lay exhausted. There must be some way.

It was then an idea struck him. He made a heap of diamonds to reach and pulled the rope. A doorway appeared in one of the walls. Beyond that was a beautiful ladder. As he climbed a hand pulled him to seventh floor.

The king himself stood there ขWelcome O worthy one! I can retire in peace nowข

The man was appointed as king next day.

Nature too offers us a fortune of wealth that we can earn. Everybody wishes to be rich but not all are ready to fully walk the path that leads to. Most of us who start get discouraged by initial unsuccessful attempts and stop. Others remain satisfied with the nickels they are offered and leave the journey.

Rare ones have the determination to find actual wealth.

We can stop at silver or go beyond diamonds.

How far would you go?

There Is No Such Thing As Free Money

There Is No Such Thing As Free Money

by: Arun Pal Singh

Have you come to internet in search for goldmine? Do you believe that you will find one and you would fill your sacks till you can! Have you come riding high on the hype that internet can make you rich overnight. Do you wish to be enlisted among the riches within next 15 days or month!! Are you being tempted by the offer that promises 10 millions by end of next month…..?Are you??

Beware! You are on a road to frustration and failure.

I happen to know a lot of people who joined the net race to become rich overnight (Oops! I was among them too). We joined a number of offers which promised us that easy guaranteed money.

Exhilarated we waited for the money to arrive. It never came. It was never supposed to come as I understand now. They cursed and left. I stayed and learnt. It was time for some introspection and understanding.

We had turned to internet to escape from grinding in our daily jobs. We had not come here with an idea to work. On the contrary we had come to enjoy free lunch.

We came because we thought we could get rich within no time. We had come to take away free money. It was never to be found. We were doomed to fail.

Success by virtue of its design has no shortcut. That applies in every sphere not just business. The nature has made it that way. If a lion has to dine he has to hunt. His food would never ever pay a visit to him. He has to earn that food. If you want a shady tree in your empty courtyard, you have to plant a seed and wait while it grows with your care. One has to earn his shade if his yard is empty.

The success does not visit the idles. It demands work. It demands constant efforts. Harder the efforts better the results.

The success will never come as freebie. It demands investment. It could be in form of money, time or both. There is nothing like something for nothing.

One has to earn his money.

Yes! Internet is goldmine. It provides you immense number of opportunities to earn money. But opportunities need to be tapped. You need to dig before the mine opens up its wealth for you. One cannot escape labor on his part. If you do not intend to carry out the digging better stop now.

There are people who have toiled. There mine has opened its gold for them. There sacks are full.

There are people who are digging while their sacks lie empty near by. But they are aware if they dug their sacks would be full soon.

Finally, there are people who carry empty sacks without any intention to dig. They wake up every morning and search for ready to use goldmine. They have found none till now and would never find any. Their sacks are destined to remain empty.

Where do among these three kinds you stand?
