A Perfect Time To Start Your Home Business

A Perfect Time To Start Your Home Business

by: Arun Pal Singh

It was the day that changed course of my life.

As we walked together on that empty road he asked me, ขWhen are you starting with your venture?ข

He was a close friend. I had revealed him often how I would love to start my own online business from home and work towards financial independence.

He knew nothing about internet business. But he always heard me with attention and encouragement.

ขQuite a time has passed since you first mentioned.ข He smiled as I remembered.

ขNext year. Something has come up. I do not think I will be able to do this year.ข I replied.

What he said was never expected, ขIf you do not have time this year and think you will have next year, you will never have the time. Things are not going to change much tomorrow than they are today. If you want to do it then do it now.

As he parted after a long discussion he gave the final blow, ขThere will be no perfect time any day. If you postpone, it will fizzle out.ข

Often I receive emails of people who ask when they should start their business. I have passed through same kind of phase. I will repeat the advice my friend gave me.

ขNOW.ข

Yes! Now is the right time for anything.

When we dream about a venture, knowingly or subconsciously we attach a state of perfection with that dream. It is a human habit. When mind dreams it does with perfection.

But reality is different. You might already have prior engagements that won’t leave you with perfect state of conditions to pursue your dreams. Shall you wait so that things become better? Well! The conditions did not improve in my case and as I see now they never become perfect.

A dream has to pass through congested reality before it could be realized.

Start now. The chaos which you face today would be present tomorrow also. These are the most frequent questions that trouble the mind of a potential starter.

# Where do I get extra time required?

Squeeze it. You do not need much of a time to work on the net. In case of business on the net, it is pretty manageable with small editing of your time management.

# What if I do not have resources?

Well! You need to search for what you can do. Cut down dispensable expenses like movies or eating out. Borrow if you can. If you are sincere enough you will find a way.

# I do not have a perfect plan.

Okay. Start with imperfect one that you have formulated. You can modify it along the way if you need. Start now. There is plenty to learn in the way. You cannot learn all before you start. And read this carefully. Nobody starts with perfect plan. Things shape up as you walk the path.

Action is what separates achievers from dreamers.

It is very easy to dream. There is no cost involved, no hindrance of any kind to stop the mind. Dreaming is the first step towards any endeavor. But dream must be followed by action to realize that dream.

If it is not followed by action a dream has got no meaning. World is full of wasted ideas and talents. Don’t let that happen to you.

Act now. Do not think tomorrow it will become better.

Tomorrow the things will be same.

Now is perfect time.

Now you have the right finances.

Now you have the right knowledge to start.

Catch a dream. Make a plan and กJust do it.ก

Should You Quit Your Job for Your Dream?

Should You Quit Your Job for Your Dream?

by: Suzanne FalterBarns

The next time you’re moodily sitting in your office, wishing you were living your dream instead, answer the following questions… or answer them now! They’ll give you a sense of whether or not now’s the time to make the break.

My job is making me crazy; so crazy I’d do anything to quit.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

If I left my job for my dream, I’m not sure what I’d do first, or even how I’d begin it.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

My boss runs my life … or ruins it. I feel completely misunderstood and trapped by this job. I don’t even know if I could quit – how would I survive? Who would even hire me?

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

I hate this job but I really need the money. I don’t see any other viable alternative.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

If I stay at my work just a little longer, I stand a good chance of getting a promotion and a raise. Then I could find my way clear to saving a little money for my dream.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

5. Yeah, I could quit my job for my dream, but I could run off to Tahiti, too. That’s way too much risk for my taste.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

My spouse/partner is okay with the thought of me quitting my job for my dream. We’ve talked it through and he/she sees it as the next thing I need to do.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

My spouse/partner fully understands what life will be like when I make the leap to begin my dream. He/she will be there for me, emotionally and even financially if necessary.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

I have a business plan for my dream all organized and ready to go. I’ve even scoped out sources for capital, and necessary space and materials to get to work.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

I have a savings account for my dream with enough to get started, plus an emergency savings account worth 6 months of my general living expenses. I’ve also scoped out alternatives to my current health care and insurance.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

10. I’ve been developing a systematic plan for leaving my job for a while now… I feel I’m almost ready to go.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

11. I have an adequate support system in place to really help me move ahead with my dream. It includes good friends and advisors, adequate child or elder care, a supportive spouse, and even a coach or mentor.

Highly agree

Mildly agree

Don’t really agree

Strongly disagree

If you answered mostly a) and b) to questions 14, you’re stuck. Your job has forced you to forget about essential pieces of yourself – it’s time to get some career coaching now.

If you answered mostly a) and b) to questions 5 & 6, you’re a borderline case. You haven’t yet decided whether your dream is all that important to the quality of your life. Just an experiment, you might want to sit with a blank piece of paper and really brainstorm what it would be like to live your dream.

If you answered mostly a) and b) to questions 711… what are you waiting for? You’ve got a plan, you’ve set up the necessary support and you’re good to go; you should be able to weather the inevitable ups and downs. Be sure to allow your company enough notice to make the transition smoothly, so you can leave with glowing reviews. Congratulations!

Dreams Come True With The Help Of Global Conscious

Dreams Come True With The Help Of Global Consciousness On The Internet

by: Jesse S. Somer

Dreams. There are two types of dreams: 1. When you are sleeping there are stories unfolding in your mind from a parallel dimension. 2. The aims one has in life. The latter is the type of dream I wish to discuss. We all have these dreams, don’t we? We picture ourselves in the future having realized our talents, having achieved in the areas that interest us most. Your dream may have been a relatively simple one, like reaching enlightenment, or helping to create world peace! Maybe your dream was just to set foot on as many beaches across the planet as possible, a little selfishbut hey, you’re still sharing a smile everywhere you go. In this the Information Age, our dreams have become more realistic and practical to attain. With the Internet and web sites in particular, a global consciousness is forming to help all people towards their goals.

Lets say you’re a young lady who lives in a small town in whoknowswhereland. Your dream is to one day live in a forest as a ranger, taking care of the trees and animals, living at one with nature. The Internet seems far removed from this reality but in truth it can be a main section of the road to your destination. By looking at web sites you can find out what other people with similar interests think about the subject. You can find out where you’ll need to go to study, what interest groups to join, and get opposing opinions on the pros and cons of a ranger’s life. You can communicate with experts from the other side of the world just as if they were next door. Seven days a week, night or day, you can access information and ideas from a wide community, a community you now belong to. All it took to start towards realizing the dream was simply by adding your identity to the new world culture created by millions of other normal minds. These are people who want to further humanity through the process of communication.

Now, let’s say you’re an old grandma living far away from the rest of the family. Seeing your grandchildren is a rarity as money to travel is not abundant. Through the websites and email on the World Wide Web, your family can ‘talk’ and send recent photos electronically. Distance becomes irrelevant and love connections remain intact, maybe even becoming stronger than before.

The Internet is bringing human society more closely together everyday. National boundaries turn out to be unnecessary, as knowledge and wisdom become the imperative of the people. As individuals become known identities in this world community, dreams are worked towards with newfound relish. Friends are instantly made, and loved ones are also kept involved in the present picture of life. A Global consciousness is forming and your input is only going to further the evolution of society and happiness for all people.

Attract Your Dream Customer

Attract Your Dream Customer

by: Wendy Maynard

Have you clearly defined your target audience? These are the prime buyers of your products or services. It is the people or organizations you are pursuing actively as customers. You don’t need every customer in the world! You need the ones who are a good match for YOU. The more specific you are, the more effective your marketing campaign will be.

But, let’s take this concept one step further. You can develop specific strategies that will attract your DREAM customers. These are the people who are best suited to purchase your product or service.

A dream customer is someone who:

You want to work with and enjoy. For example, if you’re wild about horses, why not specialize in the riding industry?

Needs and values the product or services you provide.

Is willing and able to pay what you need to charge.

Views you as an important resource an expert.

Has problems and goals you care about.

Is loyal to your business and not easily swayed by competitors.

Is delighted to do business with you!

I can hear you asking: กIs it really possible to attract dream customers?ก The answer is a resounding YES! The key is to absolutely know what sets you apart and to make a DIFFERENCE for your customers. In all of your marketing materials, be professional, creative, and consistent. And, always focus on the exciting benefits you offer to your customers. Don’t fall into the trap of using boring featurefocused marketing phrases.

Here are some examples of boring, featurefocused marketing:

We provide excellent customer service.

Our firm has been around for 25 years.

We’re a fullservice company.

The XYZ product is the best of its kind.

Why is this boring marketing? Because there is nothing unique or remarkable about these statements. They focus on features, not benefits. And, they are the exact same messages your competitor is using. Yes, these sentences may be true. However, they do nothing to set your business apart. These phrases are not going to magnetize your dream customer.

Instead, you have to THINK like your customers. Meet their specific needs and solve their unique problems. In your marketing materials, tell them about the unique benefits your company provides. Make sure your business is memorable. If your customers can’t remember you, they can’t tell others about your services or products.

Examples of benefitbased statements to attract your DREAM customers:

Sales Trainer: กWe will take the fear out of selling.ก

Cosmetic Dentist: กA smile makeover can make you look years younger.ก

Mortgage Company: กWe’ll find the right loan for you at the best price.ก

These statements work because they are focused on what a customer will get. They solve a problem. And, they show an understanding of people’s challenges and plans for the future. If you want to be a magnet, ask your current customers what they like about you. Also, ask them what you can do better. Feedback is a great way to build your dream customer base.

Remember, you only get one chance to make a first impression. So, be proactive in your marketing. What do your current marketing materials say about your company? Are they creative? Do they look professional? Is your branding consistent and based on a theme? If you answer กnoก to any of these questions, your marketing may not be working to effectively pull in your dream customers.

ACTION ITEM: Write down the characteristics of your DREAM customer and then write down the unique ways your business can meet their needs. This week, take one step toward making your company a customer magnet.

Turn your dreams into reality: How to market your intellectual property to the global market

Whether you have tried to market your invention, art, craft, book or other talent in the past and failed or whether you have never tried beyond nurturing your ideas in your mind, please remember thisif you deeply believe in your talent, and if you have a vision of greatness for your ideas, one day you will be able to turn your dreams into reality.

Remember Carl Carlsonกs 17year efforts to make his copy machine (Xerox) a reality and Thomas Edisonกs 10,000 experiments to invent the light bulb. The powerful lesson from many great inventors and entrepreneurs in human history isNever Give Up! Even if everybody around you keeps telling you to give up, you should remember that negative people and negative reinforcements are only barriers to transforming your dreams into reality.

Many famous inventors, entrepreneurs and authors refused to give up regardless of how many people laughed at them or how many times they failed. They knew that one can never be sure of how long it will take to succeed. And so, they never gave up. All the negative people and negative reinforcements could not destroy their spirit of endurance, perseverance and resilience. They remembered the famous quote กMost people succeeded just one step beyond their greatest failure.ก

They kept on trying and did not allow the rejections and negative reinforcements to kill their hopes and dreams. They took every obstacle as a challenge to overcome. They deeply believed that one day, the right opportunities will present themselves and will open the doors to their hopes and dreams. In the end, their confidence, perseverance and hard work helped them turn their dreams into reality.

The intellectual property transfer market is now estimated to be worth over $100 billion. Today, the Internet provides a wide range of tools and resources to the innovators. A number of online forums, including Minnesotabased NewIdeaTrade.com (http://www.newideatrade.com ), Californiabased Plx.com (http://www.plx.com ), and Connecticutbased PatentTriage.com (http://www.patenttriage.com ) links buyers and sellers of intellectual property. The traditional transfer of intellectual property is complicated, costly, and can take up to one year. However, these online forums simplify and speed up the process for transfer of intellectual property.

Beware of Internet Marketing Dream Merchants

Beware of Internet Marketing Dream Merchants

by: Francisco Aloy

There are so many different business opportunities available on the Web; the neverending stream of offers that will lead you to untold riches. Everybody claims to have the กinside knowledgeก that will put you on Easy Street! Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

That scenario is particularly painful for Internet beginners lacking the advanced researching skills of more seasoned Netizens. Nevertheless, is there a way for most inexperienced surfers to ascertain the initial merits of a particular offer?

There is a general procedure to dissect and examine most Internet Marketing offers, in broad terms. The bulk of the offers can be classified into two categories: Dream Merchants and Web Specific Products. They have unique qualities that are very obvious once you study them. Follow me and Iกll show you how to recognize each one.

The Dream Merchant:

Iกm going to describe a real world, brickandmortar analogy to help you understand what the Dream Merchant sells. Letกs say you walk into a retail outlet and the sales clerk mentions an idea thatกs going to make you rich! He sounds very excited and full of enthusiasm!

He then continues to tell you all the benefits youกll get from the กgreat idea.ก Curiously, every time you ask him what it is, he never gives you a strait answer! He continues to pump you up while never revealing what it is heกs selling. By now, your expectation is at a fever pitch; you gotta have it!

So you corner the silver tongued sales clerk and ask him, point blank. He then produces a little book and informs you that it contains the กgreat ideaก and it will cost you $100! You pay for the book and he quickly scampers out the door with your money. As you open it, it says: Do to the next guy what I just did to you!

I know the above scenario is rather simplistic but it does occur all the time on the Web. That kind of business is selling you a dream! The dream is the product! You must continue to sell the dream to the next guy. Do you want to become a Dream Merchant? I don’t think so!

Beware of any company that requires an upfront investment to become an affiliate member. They pump you up with dreams of big money and the good life. Then the pressure starts for you to purchase all kinds of products from them. Some of the items are ordinary household supplies; quite mundane! Letกs face it: When was the last time you heard anybody getting excited about dishwashing liquid?

Web Specific Products:

As you investigate online business opportunities Iกm sure youกve become aware of needs that are specific to Web based businesses. No matter what a Website is selling, its owner will purchase some items that are necessary for doing business on the Internet.

Another thing about selling Web business specific products is that you are, in fact, selling a product. That is such a comforting thought! There is a basic demand for your product and it doesn’t matter if your family or friends buy a heap of them!

The list of Web specific products is endless, here are a few:

Domains: You gotta have a name!

Hosting: Every Web business needs a home.

Website Design: Build and decorate your home. Writing: Fill your home with content.

Copywriting: Write about your product and make it sell!

Images: Let folks see what it looks like.

The products above are the most basic items an Internet centered business needs. A name for its business and a place to call home; the ability to do a written presentation with images. You can’t go wrong selling any of those listed products. The competition will be great but youกll have an endless supply of new customers.

The following products are of a secondary nature. Iกm including them because they will gain importance as we go into our Broadband future. As a matter of fact, most will be considered a necessity! Some are already widely used but will have new features when implemented for Broadband.

Audio:

When visitors hear your voice it lets them know you are a person, not just a Website.

Video:

So much better! You can present products, lessons, courses. Video is going to be big!

Scripts:

A great way to build an Opt In list and discover the buying habits of your visitors. Scripts can be used in so many ways to enhance your visitorกs experience.

AutoResponders:

Follow up to the initial customer contact is so important. A Sequential AutoResponder is a must for doing business on the Web. If you haven’t already, get one!

Of course, there are many more Web specific business products. Most are connected with promotion and advertising. Some that come to mind: Traffic exchanges, message boards, linking automation applications, turnkey website packages, just to name a few.

When all is said and done, you’re the only person that will make the decision about your business choice. However, if you are more comfortable selling a real product that fulfills a real need, the list is endless! The Web is so young it guarantees the supply of new customers will continue for many, many years to come.

K.E.Y.S. To Your New Life

K.E.Y.S. To Your New Life

by: Shannon Herod

Starting a homebased business is a scary step in most peoples lives, but with the right attitude and a solid plan financial freedom is just around the corner. I don’t know were to start, how do I promote, and I just don’t have the money is what most of you are saying. Fasten your seat belt and prepare for to get a look at how to get you K.E.Y.S. to a new life.

Keep the dream alive. We all started with one thing in common and that is a dream to make it big on the net. The most deadly thing a marketer can do is forget the reason they started. Keep a close eye on your dream and do not let it slip. A few good was to remind your self are:

write your dream down on three pieces of paper one to keep with you at all times one to put on the mirror you go to first thing in the morning and the last thing at night and one at the computer.

Before you go to bed at night say your dream out loud in the present tense with convection and do the same thing in the morning.

Tell everyone you know what you are going to accomplish.

Everything revolves around building an opt in list. Buy all the books you want about marketing on the net and the one common denominator will be build a list. If you want to make consistent money on the net you will need to build an optin list of subscribers. The best way to do that is build a lead capturing page and add it as a popup or pop under on your main page and your order page. This technical alone will increase your profits dramatically.

Your advertising budget is also a key factor. If you have the money to spend on advertising make a budget and stick to it every month a few good places to advertise are:

Ezines

Google Ads

Pay per click exchanges

If money is an issue don’t worry there are great places to advertise that are completely free a few of great places are:

Traffic exchanges

Safe lists

Banner Exchanges

Supply your knowledge. When ever you get a new recruit let that person know you are there to help. If you are a beginner don’t worry because chances are so is the person you just recruited. Remember the better your downline does the better you do! Be a leader and people will follow.

Keep your head up and never stop striving to reach you dream. The K.E.Y.S to your new life are setting in front of you, now you just need to unlock the door!

The One Sure Formula That Will Assure Your Success

The One Sure Formula That Will Assure Your Success Online!

by: Chadrack Irobogo

Many who are starting their own internet home businesses are motivated by a dream. In most cases it is the dream of getting rich and becoming millionaires. However, for a majority, this dream remains just that a dream and nothing more!

Many have tried the myriad of กmake money from homeก business opportunities bandied online. But there seems no head way. Some have given up in frustration. Others are only working the routine hoping and praying for fortune to smile on them.

But the truth you must accept today is that you can not continue to do the same thing and hope to receive a different result. There is one and only one formula for success in any business. A fat claim right? But youกll agree with by the time you’re through this article.

In a nutshell this formula is:

Knowledge + Positive Action x Persistence = Success

Now allow me expand this briefly.

Knowledge: It is true, you can not rise higher than what you know. Your knowledge determines what you can achieve. One thing you must understand is that those who earn 100 times what you are earning right now are not 100 times smarter or more productive than you. The difference is that they know something which you don’t. To produce the same or a better result therefore, you need to learn that กsomethingก which they know.

One thing that many have over looked in their quest for their internet millions, is settling down to learn the basics well. They are easily mesmerized by the hype online. Lured with the promises of instant wealth, with doing little or nothing, they jump at any business opportunity. But all too soon the euphoria evaporates. And the result? Regrets!

To really succeed online as an internet business entrepreneur you must learn the basics, practice them and use them well until you master them, then success will definite come.

Positive Action: This is where many others goof. They never get down to working what they have learnt. Knowing and not putting what you know into action will give you one sure result remaining where you started. Positive action, please note I said positive action, demands knowing the basics and putting your efforts into producing the right results. You must not just work.

You efforts must be geared towards producing the results you desire. Never be fooled into thinking that producing results in your internet home business is any thing different from any brick and mortar business.

Your internet home business is a business and not some sport. Threat it as a business and the results will please you. The hype of working 2 hours a week and earning millions must be taken with a pint of salt. You must be ready to put in more hours in a day especially when you are just starting out. It is practice that makes for perfection, any day!

Persistence: You need to know from the outset that success in your internet home business is rarely, if ever, an overnight phenomenon. You must be ready to put in effort, clear hurdles and avoid problems on the way.

You must understand that success is a result of years of failures and restarts. And the things that can fuel such a long drive to success are passion and persistence. You must not give up on your dream no matter the circumstances.

Develop the mindset of the successful and push on to success. Most people, when starting their home internet businesses, are passionate and excited at the dream of freedom. But when the reality of the business sets in the work turns out to be hard and stressful. And soon the passion starts to disappear. When this happens, fears, doubt, worry and visions of disaster set in. Very soon a stressfree salaried job becomes a pretty good option.

If you are faced with this situation, you must take steps to keep your passion alive again. What you need is some good motivation. Grab some inspirational material that will help you stay motivated. Found a group (or a mentor if you have none already) of like minds who can help you to stay motivated. Do everything possible to keep the passion alive.

Conclusion: To build a successful internet business that will fulfill your dream of independence and financial freedom, you require knowledge plus positive action times persistence. Take some moments therefore to once again assess where you are right now. Assess your strengths and weaknesses. Which areas do you need to work on? Do something about it.

Success is yours!
