10 Killer Ways To Multiply Your Sales

10 Killer Ways To Multiply Your Sales

by: Frank Bauer

Would you like to multiply your web site sales? Or course you would, who wouldn’t? 🙂 Then take a close look at the following 10 killer ways to multiply your sales…

1. When you make a sale, always followup with the customer. First you should followup with a ‘thank youก email.

Then, a few days later, you can followup up and as them if they are satisfied with their purchase or if they have any questions.

After a certain time, you should followup and ask them for their feedback, good or bad and possibly for a testimonial.

All your followup messages can include a small advertisement for other products you sell.

If you use a fn automated system to do this, it will not even take a minute of your time to do all the followups.

2. You could upsell to your customers. When they’re at your order page, tell them about a few extra related products you have for sale. They could just add it to their original order.

Or you can upsell your visitors from a standard version to a professional version of your product or service.

3. Tell your customers if they refer four customers to your web site, they will receive a full rebate of their purchase price. This will turn one sale into four sales.

This can be easily done placing a referafriend form on your order ‘thank youก page.

4. When you sell a product, give your customers the option of joining an affiliate program so they can make commissions selling your product. This will multiply the sale you just made.

For example… do that in one of your followup messages mentioned in the first point above.

5. Sell the reprint/reproduction rights to your products. You could include an ad on or with the product for other products you sell. You could make sales for the reproduction rights and sales on the back end product.

You could also product licenses in bulk at a discounted rate to resellers. Then they can sell it at retail price and keep to profit.

6. You could cross promote your product with other businessesก products in a package deal. You can include an ad or flyer for other products you sell and have other businesses selling for you.

This is a great way to joint venture with other businesses as it is mutual beneficial for both sides.

7. When you ship out or deliver your product, include a coupon for other related products you sell in the package. This will attract them to buy more products from you.

Of course you can also include coupon codes in one of your followup emails.

8. Send your customers a catalog of addon products for the original product they purchased. This could be upgrades, special services, attachments, etc. If they enjoy your product they will buy the extra addons.

If you create an online catalog for delivery by email (again, this is good for another followup email), I recommend to use Adobe Acrobat to create a PDF catalog.

This way your customers will be able to read it, no matter what operating system they use on their computer.

9. Sell gift certificates for your products. Youกll make sales from the purchase of the gift certificate, when the recipient cashes it in. They could also buy other items from your web site.

To do that online, you could simply send the customer a personal coupon code, that they can on to the lucky person.

10. Send your customers free products with their product package. The freebies should have your ad printed on them. It could be bumper stickers, ball caps, tshirts etc. This will allow other people to see your ad and order.

Online you could give them free versions or trial copies of your other products, together with their paid product.

Why Autoresponders are an Absolute Must

Why Autoresponders are an Absolute Must

by: Glen Hopkins

With autoresponders, you never have to lose money advertising again! Thatกs right, every ad you place from now on can be a winner even when you lose money!

I know, I know, you’re thinking, กOkay, now youกve lost it Glen.ก But I haven’t. Let me explain.

Letกs say you place an ezine ad, which costs you $200. and you make $20 for every sale made. If you make 8 sales with the ad you will earn $160.

Gosh, you just lost $40. Thatกs a bad ad right? The answer to that depends on how you wrote your ad. Let me show you how losing $40 can actually be a win.

When you create your ad, don’t advertise directly for your product. Advertise something that will กbring them in the doorก. Freebies like this minicourse, sweepstakes or items at exceptionably low prices work well.

The job of your advertisement is to create leads. That is, to get the readers email address with permission to follow up Yes, thatกs that one to one marketing thing happening again.

Using autoresponders that automatically followup will give you the ability to set up a completely automated followup system for your product or service. You can use three, eight, or even thirty email followup messages to generate sales for your product.

Instead of only having one chance to sell your prospect, you can have thirty opportunities to sell them all for the price of one ad. Which do you think will make more sales?

Marketing guru Jay Levinson figures the average person needs to see an ad twentyseven times before it has the desired impact. Twenty seven times! Now you know why you see CocaCola everywhere you look.

Okay, so letกs do the math again. You paid $200 to run your ad with a link to your automatic followup system. Letกs say you send seven followups. You made $160 on the first ad. Don’t forget what the guru says the more a person sees an ad, the more likely they will buy. But for argument sake, letกs say your conversion rate stays at $160 per followup. $160 times seven followups equals $1120. Now youกve made a profit of $920! Pretty cool isn’t it?

Try to use some element of viral marketing in your offer. I give this minicourse away for free to people who sign up for my ListOpt List Builder Program and I allow you to give it to your friends and even offer it to your prospects in your ezine or on your website as something to กget them in your doorก.

Yes, thatกs right, you can offer this minicourse to your prospects for free when they sign up for your ezine. All you have to do is give them this link (mailto:[email protected]) in your welcome message that you send out when they subscribe to your ezine. You could say something like:

‘thanks for subscribing to MyEzineName. You will receive your first issue shortly… blah, blah, blah…

As our gift to you for subscribing, please send a blank email to mailto:[email protected] Within seconds, you will receive for free, the marketing minicourse, ‘the 7 Secrets of Making Money with Ezinesก.

Best regards,

Your Nameก

This is a winwin situation.

You Win because:

You offer people this minicourse which will increase the number of people who sign up for your ezine and will drive traffic to your site.

Your Subscribers Win because:

You gave your subscribers this minicourse which will not only teach them how to make money with their ezine, but also they can use it to produce more traffic and sales at their web site. This my friends will please your customers and create loyalty (which is another win for you).

And I Win because:

A traffic virus is being created with this minicourse! Wow! A winwinwin situation. Everyone is happy.

To sum it up, using an autoresponder followup system with an element of viral marketing will reduce your advertising risk. If you have a traffic virus in place, then your ad will continue to work for you for many years to come.

Are Your Emails Being Heard

Are Your Emails Being Heard

by: David Lake

Yes, the headline is spelled right. What if you had a way to make your clients remember you and your email. In order to do this, you would have to do something different that virtually no other online marketer is doing. That should be easy enough, right. Well, it might not be as difficult as you think. There is a fairly new trend in email marketing that involves emails that Contain an audible message that you can record and personalize.

Did you know people remember 5 times more when they see and hear information compared to when they just see it. I am sure you have always thought your conversion rate should be higher, right. Most folks on the Internet are settling for a far lower conversion rate simply because they have not yet found a cost effective way to successfully communicate their ขsales pitchข to their potential customers. Many online business are now using followup email and auto response systems to increase their conversion rates, and now there is a way to make these followup messages an even better marketing tool.

Have you ever wished you could just talk to your customers. I am sure you have. All of us, as small business owners, feel like if we could just talk to many of our potential customers we could persuade them into doing business with us. We have all faced the problem of gaining our customers trust in this faceless online world. One quote to base your online business by is that ขpeople do business with peopleข I know this quote is simple, but it is the truth. Too many folks on the Internet try to remain anonymous, yet gain the trust and respect of their customers, that is a hard thing to do. You have to become a real person to your potential clients.

Just think about the last time you went into a store to make a fairly large ticket purchase. Sure the store had some information on the tag above the product, the price was clearly marked, and the checkout process was straightforward, but you probably still wanted to talk to a sales person didn’t you? Why? Hearing the person say what you already knew about the product made you feel better about buying the product. The same applies to your online customers. Just hearing you say the very same things they have read online somehow makes them believe you more and consequently they are more likely to do business with you.

Audible emails immediately and automatically grab your readerกs attention. They humanizes and personalize your message because they speak directly to your reader in your personal voice. Audio users have reported a doubling and tripling of response rates. When you send your potential clients some sort of followup messages to encourage them to buy your product or service, what if you could talk to them via a prerecorded message. This would do a lot of thing for your email followup campaign.

it will make your email stand out

it will make your business appear more Professional

it will add integrity to your business in the customers eyes

it will make a bigger ขbrandingข impact

it will increase conversion rates immediately.

To find out more about sending email that contains audio messages and one of the best followup auto responder systems on the Internet visit http://greatfollowup.ProAutoResponder.com If you click ขhave a value codeข on the ordering screen and enter the code ขepowernewsข you will receive a 33% discount off the normal monthly price. Making the service cost just $11.99 a month. Try it out, or to find out more about the service read our review at: http://www.affiliateanswers.com/proautoresponder/

Multiply Your Sales

Multiply Your Sales

by: Adam Waxler

When Thomas Edison’s light bulb finally burned for 45 straight hours he said, ขIf it will burn that number of hours now, I know I can make it burn a hundred.ข

What does this have to do with internet marketing?

Everything.

You see, if you can make 1 sale, you should be able to make a hundred sales.

The problem is many internet marketers are only making a sale here or there (if any at all), but if you are making ANY sales…you should be making MANY sales.

Here are some tips on how to multiply your sales:

Sell the reprint/reproduction rights to your products. In doing so, you can make the equivalent of 1520 sales in a single sale.

You could upsell to your customers. When a customer arrives at your order page, tell them about a few extra related products you have for sale. They could just add it to their original order. Remember, if a customer is willing to buy one thing from you, they are likely to buy several things from you.

When you make your first sale, followup with the customer. You could followup with a ‘thank youก email and include an advertisement for other products you sell. You could followup every few days, weeks, or months. Of course, in order to a have a strong followup campaign you need to have a good autoresponder. Getresponse.com is one I highly recommend that gives you everything you need for a strong followup email campaign (http://www.moneyteacher.com/getresponse.htm)

Tell your customers if they refer four customers to your web site, they will receive a full rebate of their purchase price. This will turn one sale into three sales.

When you sell a product, give your customers the option of joining an affiliate program so they can make commissions selling your product. This will multiply the sale you just made. Setting up an affiliate program is simple. Clickbank is just one a several companies that will handle all your affiliate needs for a very small fee. However, you can also purchase software such as AssocTRAC 4.0 that is an allinone affiliate management solution (http://www.marketingtips.com/assoctrac/t.x/806885).

You could cross promote your product with other businessesก products in a package deal. Instead of working against your competition, why not try working with you competition?

When you ship out or deliver your product, include a coupon for other related products you sell in the package. This will attract them to buy more products from you.

Sell gift certificates for your products. Youกll make sales from the purchase of the gift certificate, when the recipient cashes it in. They could also buy other items from your web site.

My point is this…

If you are making any sales at all then you owe it to yourself to turn those few sales into many sales. Start trying some of these tips and you’ll do just that.

Are You Starving Your Home Business Of Lifeblood?

Are You Starving Your Home Business Of Lifeblood?

by: Mal Keenan

If youกve seen Kevin Costnerกs film the กField of Dreamsก you will remember how he was inspired to build a baseball field with the words กIf you build it, they will comeก. He built the stadium, and with a little faith, streams of visitors were coming to see his dream.

Sorry to bring you back to the REAL world but this isn’t กField of Dreamsก and you aren’t Kevin Costner. If you want visitors to your dream website and you want some measure of success online, you need to take some important steps to do so.

Without a regular supply of leads to your business then you just aren’t going to make it in internet business, period.

How on earth could you? It would be like setting up an offline business and expecting it to succeed without anyone picking up the phone to call you or walking in through your companiesก front door.

Makes sense doesn’t it? Of course it does but the majority of prospects I deal with respond with shock horror when I tell them that now that they have set up their business websites they will have to buy leads or work hard to obtain them.

Leads are the lifeblood of your business and a highly targeted prospect can be worth $1000s, especially if you are involved in network marketing.

The way I see it, there are a few things you need to do to qualify leads and turn them into your customers or downline.

Firstly you need to obtain them, and as I can only share my own experiences, I will tell you what I do.

1) I buy leads This is the simplest way to get leads and obviously will take the least amount of work to do this, because you are buying them from other sources and sending them to your business. These are usually raw leads, meaning they are people interested in starting an online business but not sure how to go about it nor with which company to proceed. It is up to you to convince them to use your product or service to do this.

2) I add them to my followup system After buying leads you MUST add these prospects to some sort of followup system. This is basic stuff and if you don’t do it you won’t succeed.

There is absolutely no point in buying leads unless you followup with them. You COULD buy them and send them one email with a link to your business. A very small % will actually visit your site, what about the rest? Adding them to a followup system with at least twelve further messages will help turn your leads into HOT prospects. Some of my autoresponders have up to fifty message with articles, tips and recommendations.

3) I send targeted prospects to my business websites from the search engines Many of my leads come from top rankings in the major search engines. A full ebook could be written on this alone but basically I set up a domain obtained hosting optimised my website with keywords related to my business submitted my site to the major search engines added quality home business related content and began a reciprocal linking campaign which boosts my sites web ranking more than anything else. The greatest thing about these leads is they are HIGHLY TARGETED and they are of course free.

Again I have set up a web form at my sites to encourage my search engine leads to add themselves to my followup system. I can then get to work on turning them into my customers and downline affiliates.

There are of course many other forms of sending customers to your website but the two above combined with an effective followup system can virtually put your business on autopilot and free up your time for other projects. They are also the most effective ways that I have found to reach a successful income.

Take the steps as outlined above and let me know how you get on.

Followup, The Secret to Success in Affiliate Marke

Followup, The Secret to Success in Affiliate Marketing

by: Robert Thompson

Whether I promote SFI, Goji, Amway or any other Affiliate Marketing program, it seems that I always hear the same complaints for mother affiliates in those programs.

กI never hear from my downline!ก or กNo matter how many times I write, My downline affiliates never seem to get involved.ก In fact, this is very common throughout the affiliate marketing industry. In most cases it takes as many as 100 new affiliates to gain one who is active and will actually take action to build a business.

This is totally unacceptable, and avoidable if you use proper followup techniques. In fact, the one in one hundred ratio can be improved dramatically by using a solid followup plan. The plan included in this article has four parts that if followed, will cause your affiliate marketing results to skyrocket.

Get Your Readerกs Attention

What I mean by this, is that you need to get them to actually read what you have to say. Those interested in a business opportunity usually sign up for several different programs. Each of these programs is competing for the readers attention, and as a result, your messages can easily be lost in the clutter.

What is needed is a way to make your messages stand out from the crowd. Snappy headlines help, but to really get a readerกs attention, try using Ecards in your followup program. Ecards have a couple of advantages that can ignite your followup campaign. First, everybody likes getting a greeting card and when they see a notice in their in box that someone has sent them a card, their natural curiosity gets the best of them, and they open the card. Second, most Ecard providers provide a tracking service that notifies you when a card has been opened. This allows you to gauge the effectiveness of your followup campaign.

Here are a couple of hints that will definitely help you in the use of Ecards. First, limit the use of these cards to special occasions. Your initial introduction, and a congratulatory message upon completion of a training event should do the job. Do not over use them, or Ecards can become ineffective. Second, keep your messages short and sweet. The idea is to get your reader used to dealing with you. After a couple of contacts, they will be more likely to look for your Email address on normal correspondence.

Ecards are available from a variety of sources and are usually provided for free by the major Internet Service Providers. You can also purchase custom cards for a smalll fee from companies like Hallmark.

Write a Newsletter

Getting responses from your downline affiliates is all about building trust and your initial contact is only the beginning. In order to develop this trust, follow up on a regular basis with a newsletter to your entire organization. Make your newsletter fun and upbeat. Include a useful article or two, and a couple of references to useful tools. Also, if one of your affiliates achieves a milestone, for instance Top 100 placement, mention it in your letter with a congratulation and a nice reward. Spend some money for a coop share for them, or send them a free Ebook.

กBut I only have a couple of affiliates right nowก you say.

It doesn’t matter if you have two or two thousand affiliates in your downline. The effects are the same. By sending out a newsletter to your affiliates, you will generate interest, establish yourself as a leader, and as someone who cares about your team members. This goes a long way toward establishing trust and fostering teamwork.

Special Announcements

Special Announcements are the next step in building trust, and generating activity within your afiliate team. If you discover a really exciting tool, or maybe an intriguing post on business forum that will be useful to your affiliates, make a special announcement to your team. This may not light a fire under every member of your team, but it only takes one or two folks to become active to really change the dynamics of your entire organization.

Delivering Your Messages

Most affiliate programs provide a simple autoresponder which allows you to send group messages. Most of these only have the capability of sending text messages, but to send your newsletters and announcements, they can be extremely effective. If you want to really get your teams attention, try using one of the many commercially available autoresponders on the market today. These will allow you to set up and deliver not only text pages, but HTML documents as well. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this, an HTML newsletter looks like a miniature Webpage, complete with color, banners and hyperlinks. This is a great way to give a little bit of pizzazz to your written communications.

Keep in mind, that you can send newsletters and special announcements to your team, even if your team only has a few members. By properly wording your messages, you can create the illusion that you are leading a very large organization. This lends credibility to your efforts, and your response rate will improve.

Continue to Refine your Messages

Look for words and phrases that have a tendency to ‘tell people what to doก and replace them with กsuggestions and recommendations.ก Nobody likes to be told what to do, and when it happens, the natural reaction is to rebel, or worse yet, to ignore your message. When this happens, you will lose your affiliate forever.

Enlist the Support of Others

When you finally do get a couple of interested and active affiliates, involve them in your daily activities. There are two immediate benefits to doing this. First, you will build a relationship that benefits both of you, because both have unique qualities to contribute to the business relationship. For instance, their talents can be exploited in the areas of editing and proofreading. Second, you will be able to train your affiliate on how to proceed in their business. You will be able to pass on key knowledge as to what has worked for you, and what to avoid.

Remember, if you are getting a lousy response to your followup efforts, chances are that you only need to refine what you are doing. Use Ecards to get a readerกs attention. Keep your messages short and simple. Be sincere. Build trust among your team members with newsletters and special announcements. Continually refine your messages, and enlist the support of others on your team.

By following this short lesson, you should see a dramatic improvement in your response rate, and a corresponding increase in your commission checks. : )
