What you are about to read shows you how to create a powerful, automatic weapon for that war that generates relentless, repeating sales.

Step #1 Get Into Your Prospects Mind.

Many new netpreneurs forget, or fail to understand, that prospects are individuals.

You must get into your prospectกs mind and appeal to them, and them alone, before they will buy from you.

Sidebar

With some exceptions, buying decisions are made on the basis of emotional and intellectual reasoning in that order.

Sidebar

Some marketers prefer to use market research exclusively for this step. This is a valid, but more expensive option to build your prospectกs profile.

Sidebar

Remember : People do not necessarily buy features. They always buy benefits.

Step #5 Headlines

Now you have all the pieces of your jigsaw start to build your กMind Capture Weaponก.

Headlines can be formatted as :

Write as many headlines as you can, some marketers write 50 or more, and format them in the different ways.

Now let them to กstewก for a 2 or 3 days before reviewing and choosing the best ones.

For software to help you write compelling headlines see relevant resources below.

Step# 6 Write The Copy Like A Master Storyteller.

กUsing the action triggers that deliver your MDA, weave a personal story for your prospect around your product and itกs benefits to them.ก

Your copy must be persuasive, emotional, and truthful.

Without exception, people love stories.

Use your

Action trigger list,

Prospect profile

Product benefits

to weave a story that captures your prospects mind.

This is the goal you started out to achieve and a story incorporating these features is how you do it.

Story telling is one of many mind motivators that capture your prospectกs mind and attention.

A new product about to be released will show you many other magical mind motivators that you must learn to use to capture your prospects mind.

Step #7 Ask For กMost Desired Actionก

Your กMost Desired Actionก may be :

Getting the prospect to subscribe to a product.

Getting the sale.

Getting feedback and comments.

Getting contributions, donations or other help.

Whatever it is, you must ask for it in clear explicit terms.

Electrify Your Marketing Using Positive Energy

Electrify Your Marketing Using Positive Energy

by: Hirini Reedy

Many internet entrepreneurs need to often stop and reflect on their results. A bit like an engineer checking your energy circuits. Finding where the most flow and resistance occurs. Replenishing your batteries so that you have more energy to input into your internet marketing. So take some time now to rest and ask the question, กwhat is my energy level right now?ก If your eyes, neck and brain ache then it is time to replenish your batteries. Get up, walk and stretch your body. Yet what if you are feeling disillusioned? Spending long hours on the internet but still lacking results. You write great salescopy but still no sales. You need to look at the energy vibrations you are subconsciously sending out.

Here are some ways to input more energy into your internet marketing efforts.

1. Get Rid Of The Mosquito Mind

The mosquito mind is the annoying negative mindset that we all have. It whines and bites when we are uncertain, scared and frustrated. Being bitten once by a mosquito is OK. Same with a negative thought. Yet being bitten all night by a mosquito makes you grumpy and tired. Same with continual negative thinking. It drains you and makes you grumpy. So it is time to swat that annoying mosquito and rub on repellent. So when you feel a negative thought start to bite, just give your forehead a good slap. It will help get rid of the whining negative thought.

2. Reverse The Energy Polarity.

We can transform negative actions by reversing their polarity. Find their positive equivalents. Everything in nature has a negative and positive polarity that creates both balance and flow. Find the positive equivalents in your life negatives. Here is an example based around two work negatives relating to a struggling internet entrepreneur.

Negative1:

My desk is a mess and I cannot find important documents. I stress out.

Positive Reversal

My work space is organised with a good filing system that I enjoy using.

Negative2:

Worried about paying bills, always struggling to keep ahead.

Positive Reversal.

My bills are easily paid on time. I enjoy peace of mind.

By adding these positives together, we start to create a positive energy flow around workspace and money. For example, Positive1 + Positive2 = กa organised workspace with a good filing system I enjoy using. My bills are easily paid on time. I enjoy peace of mindก. This looks more exciting then focusing on the negative equivalents. This positive statement forms part of your new desired outcome. It adds voltage to your energy levels.

3. Programme Your Subconscious With Positive Outcomes.

Get very clear on your desired outcome first. Describe it. Picture it. Fill in the details. Then instruct your subconscious mind to find ways to manifest this desired outcome. For example: กMy desired outcome is to have an organised workspace with a good filing system I enjoy. My bills are easily paid on time and I enjoy peace of mind. Subconscious mind, find me ways to fulfil this desire. Thank youก. Then just carry on with the rest of your day. Your mind will start to work behind the scenes to fulfil your order.

So start making a list of all your negatives. Find their positive equivalents. Then start to create business changes based around these positives. Become the change you desire.

Email and Newsgroup Etiquette

Email and Newsgroup Etiquette

by: Sharon Housley

Email Etiquette

In order to effeciently communicate on the Internet it is critical to understand the unwritten rules of email communication. Please use these tips as a guideline to online email communication.

1.) Unless you are using encryption, Internet Email is not secure.

2.) Do not use all capitals in email exchanges, it is considered SHOUTING and is considered rude.

3.) Keep in mind that the Internet is international, words and humor can be perceived differently by different cultures.

4.) When replying to messages be aware of กcc:ก field. Recipients listed in the กcc:ก field will receive a copy of the post. (The กbcc:ก field sends messages blind, meaning recipients don’t know that someone else has received a copy of the email or been carbon copied)

5.) Use emoticons 🙂 or to indicate expression.

6.) When forwarding email be sure not to create a loop in the system. In addition, be sure not to setup autoresponders to reply to every email, or endless loops will be created.

7.) There can be costs associated with Internet connectivity and downloading emails. Do not send attachments that take a long time to download, without the recipients consent.

8.) Include in the กsubjectก line a heading that relates to the message body.

9.) Use 46 lines for your signature line, this is an opportunity to highlight your business or company information, but don’t be ostentatious..

Mailing Lists & Newsgroup Etiquette

In order to participate in news groups, you must have an understanding of newsgroup etiquette.

1.) Be familiar with lists/newsgroups prior to posting, read posting.

2.) Keep in mind that newsgroups and mailing lists are frequently archived and that posts will be preserved.

3.) If you are replying to a message be sure to include the text of the original message which you are replying to. Use ก>ก indicators if your mail program does not do this for you.

4.) Don’t get involved in flame wars (or material which is personal and unproductive).

5.) Keep in mind that the Internet is international, words and humor can be perceived differently by different cultures.

6.) Use 46 lines for your signature line, this is an opportunity to highlight your business or company information, but don’t be ostentatious..

7.) When responding to a post, keep the subject line the same, so that it will appear in the same thread.

8.) Cross posting to multiple lists is often prohibited. Read posting guidelines.

9.) Expect delays in moderated forums, each posting must be approved.

10.) Anonymous posts are unaccepted in many newsgroups.

11.) Be aware that some people use aliases when posting to Usenet groups to avoid SPAM (unsolicited email). Also keep in mind that anything goes on unmoderated Usenet.

12.) Most lists don’t allow for binary attachments.

Top 10 Blog Writing Tips

Top 10 Blog Writing Tips

by: Denise Wakeman and Patsi Krakoff

Most of the กrulesก about writing for ezines and newsletters apply to writing posts for your blog, but there are some important differences. Keep these 10 tips in mind and youกll be publishing great blog content that attracts prospects and clients in your niche market.

1. Write with the reader in mind. Remember WIIFM? It’s marketing jargon for What’s In It For Me? That’s what you should be keeping in mind. Your reader will read your post looking for what’s in it for them.

2. Make it valuable and worthwhile. Don’t waste people’s time. If you don’t have anything to say, no problem, plenty other people do. So share their articles, do an interview, review a book.

3. Proofread for typos and glaring grammatical errors. You wouldn’t go out of the house with dirty hair or missing a sock, so why would you publish spelling mistakes? Respect your readers by polishing up your stuff.

4. Keep it short and simple, sweetie. (KISS). Most people are scanners. You may have a lot to say and think it interesting, and it may be. But people are reading online and out of time. Get to the point quickly. Publishing short posts more frequently is a better format than publishing lengthy articles every few weeks.

5. Keep it lively, make it snappy and snazzy. Even if you aren’t a natural born writer, you can write for your blog. Just write like you’re speaking to your friend…or to yourself! Remember though, get to the point quickly. Keep in mind the journalist’s rule of 5 W’s in the first paragraph: who, what, why, when and where.

6. Link often. This builds credibility and positions you as an expert in your field. People don’t have time to know what others are doing, you should tell them. Linking to other blogs and websites also helps you build a network of associates who will in turn link to your blog.

7. Use keywords often. This will help you stay on purpose, and the search engines will love your blog. Your rankings will go up. This is one of the reasons we have you write out your purpose statements before beginning your blog. The clearer you are about your purpose, the more consistently you will deliver messages that are on target. And the more often your keywords show up, the better your search engine results.

8. Write clearly (short sentences, only one concept per sentence). No double speak or jargon; no more than one idea in one sentence don’t make your readers have to think about your meaning. Spoon feed them. Use commas and dashes liberally.

9. Write like you talk. It’s okay to use common expressions from speech.

Examples:

Go figure.

Don’t even go there…

Now, I ask you…

Gotta love it…

(And, remember the age group of your readers…)

10. Use a clear headline, and don’t be afraid to make bold statements (but don’t mislead people either). Make it snazzy and use key words. Example: ExTechnoWeenie Masters HTML Code

BONUS: After you write a post and BEFORE you hit the save button

Use this checklist to ask yourself a few questions as you are reading through for typos and grammar:

__ Is the topic clear to someone who only reads the headline?

__ Does the lead paragraph tell who and what the story is about and why the reader should care about it?

__ Is the angle youกve used likely to seem newsworthy?

__ Would someone who knows absolutely nothing about this topic understand this post?

__ Is the post free of jargon?

__ Is it written in journalistic style and does it make an effort to be objective?

__ Have you peppered the headline and the post with keywords and phrases that will be attractive to search engines?

__ Did you remember to ask your readers a question at the end, or something to stimulate readers to comment?

__ Did you remember to write with the reader in mind, always keeping in mind WIIFT? (What’s in It for Them?)

How Mind Implants Increase Business Success

How Mind Implants Increase Business Success

by: Dave Czach

If your business isn’t as successful as you envision, whatกs holding you back? You might say itกs a lack of capital, a lack of employees, a lack of *great* employees, a lack of time, a lack of inventory, a lack of … whatever. But these and similar reasons is not what causes your lack of business success. These reasons or excuses are merely the results of a greater cause … your thoughts.

A Buddhist proverb states, ‘thoughts are things. As you think, so you become.ก In other words, if you’re thinking, กI wish I had sales like him,ก then you have put yourself in the state of mind of wishing not having. If you say, กIกm trying to increase sales,ก then you have put yourself in the state of mind of trying not doing. If you say, กI increase my sales 10% every month,ก then you have put yourself in the state of mind of doing and having!

Do you see the difference? Trying and wishing are tasks that never get completed because your focus is not on achievement. Itกs on กattemptingก achievement. Whereas กI increase…ก is present tense and actionoriented. Itกs doing and having.

A great example is the University of Michigan football team. When I was growing up in Michigan, I cheered for the Wolverineกs football team every year. But it seems almost every year they would get to the Rose Bowl and lose. Later while studying psychology and perceptions I reflected on the statements made by the coach on television, กWe will make it to the Rose Bowl!ก Guess what? The กdoingก and กhavingก were focused on playing in the Rose Bowl. NOT WINNING THE ROSE BOWL! Why do you think they lost the Rose Bowl?

Success is the way you think about things and the words you choose. As worldrenowned psychologist Dr. Wayne Dyer says, กWhen you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.ก This means you have to alter your perceptions, thoughts and words. If done correctly, the results will be business success. But …

Changing your thought patterns must be repetitive to be effective. You just can’t change your mind once and expect permanent results. Afterall, Iกm talking about modifying habits. Which is a daunting task to many people. Fortunately, after years of researching successful business men, noted author Napoleon Hill discovered a common thread. To be a success at anything in this world, you need at least desire, belief and action. If you lack the desire or belief, you’re in กluckก because he also discovered those fundamental attributes can be learned through AutoSuggestion (now called affirmations).

Affirmations are very effective. But you must be careful which words you choose because you are literally implanting new thoughts to run your life. Affirmations need to be written as a positive, presenttense, actionoriented statement. For example, if you’re writing for selfconfidence, you might state: กI am selfreliant everyday. I have great inner courage. I do whatever I desire.ก And so on. Napoleon Hill suggests you read your affirmations aloud once in the morning and once at night until you feel, believe and live your affirmations. The down side is most people get bored and quit before they experience any real results. Fortunately …

Affirmations are now automatic. You don’t need to write your own affirmations. Professionals have prewritten many affirmations. You can purchase a hypnosis CD, a guided meditation CD or even software.

In conclusion, your level of business success is completely your decision. You can think your way to billionaire status like Tom Monaghan founder of Dominoกs Pizza (Ann Arbor, MI). Or barely pay the bills as a part time home business owner. In either case, itกs your desires, beliefs, thoughts and action that produce business success. A lack of anything is simply a result of negative, unresourceful thinking.

Preparing for a Career in Information Technology

Preparing for a Career in Information Technology

by: John Gall

So you want to work in the Information Technology field? In this article iกll provide some advice to those seeking employment in this field. Keep in mind these are my opinions, others may agree or disagree.
Mechanic or Engineer?
The first question to answer is which direction do you want to go? Typically there are two types of IT Staff. Those who administer and and those who create. What do I mean by this? Ask yourself if youกd rather sit in a cube and write software, create and maintain databases and develop applications, or would you rather install software, manage an email system or create a network or remote access solution.
The two areas are usually comprised of employees with very different mind sets.
The administrators tend to follow a career path that goes something like this. IT Intern or PC Technician performing break/fix tasks on PCกs. As they advance they may manage the larger rollout of operating systems or software applications. Keep in mind the focus is on more mechanical or problem solving tasks. Later in their career they may move on to network or server administration. The larger the impact of a mistake the further up the ladder in their career. Eventually they may manage a team of other administrators or perform some consulting services.
The engineers typically come from computer science backgrounds. They may have learned programming of various languages in college. The particular language is not important only the fact that they are creating or maintaining applications for systems and databases rather than focusing on the workings of the system its self. Many of these employees are introverts. They would prefer to work within their group and make a cube or office their home. The administrator would be perfectly happy being กvisableก within the company.
Education
First let me say that a four year Bachelors degree is valuable to anyone seeking employment in the IT industry. Not sure what direction you want to go? Get a basic Business BA because it will teach you how a business operates and get you the open door to most job interviews. More accurately it will prevent you from being excluded simply because you do not have a degree. If you are the administrator type iกd also recommend a basic BA unless you find a program that has the current skills you are seeking. Mainly a variety of desktop and server operating system and networking skill path focusing on TCP/IP , DNS, WINS, DHCP and routing.
If you are on the applications path than a Computer Science major is going to get you headed in the right direction. Often companies hire right out of college because they have been teaching login and application development for decades.
Those looking into administration can count on resuming their education either by selfstudy using technical books, certification paths, home built networks and lastly for those with the money private nonaccredited coursework at various ATECกs
Once your in your in. Until your in your way out….
When I got into this field ten years ago I took a pay cut to move from my sales position to my PC Technician position. This is because it is VERY difficult to get hired if youกve never been hired. There are so many great applicants that there is no reason to take a chance on someone who only can tell you what they know. Multiply this statement X 10 with the economic downturn after the dot com boom. So get whatever resume worthy experience and references you can as fast as you can. To land even the most entry level job youกll need it.
How to get experience?
Internships are a great way to get in the door anywhere. These are positions that everyone understands and they are the mark of a hungry student. If you can get an internship (preferably paid) at a company so much the better. If you can’t start volunteering for any organization that will take your skills. Churches and schools or charityกs are a good start. The key is to get something on your resume that says youกve been in the business.
Self Employment
The IT world is great for the self employed. For those who want to accept side work there are many ways to find it and you can do as much or little as you want. When your first starting out why not perform PC Technician or entry level web or application development and get paid? Individuals are more likely to hire you for a few hour of work and youกll gain business skills and have yet another thing to add to that resume. Remember the key is to walk into your first interview as if youกve been in the biz.
Conclusion
In closing keep in mind, know your direction, get an education, and its never too early to start building that resume. Good Luck

Read Faster, Read Smarter

Read Faster, Read Smarter

by: Michael Southon

The Internet is a new continent where the maps are constantly changing. What was a small stream becomes a roaring river. What was a desert becomes a lush green valley.

To keep up with the changing landscape of the Internet you must read. And the best place to read about new developments on the Internet is in Newsletters or Ezines.

But you may not be reading efficiently.

Did you know that most of us use only 4% to 10% of our mental abilities?

Speed reading is not just about reading faster; itกs about learning to use much more of the extraordinary powers of the Mind.

When you read, are you aware of an inner voice that follows the words as your eyes move across the page or the computer screen? This inner voice is called กsubvocalizationก. You probably experience it as a slight movement in the tongue or throat region. As long as you subvocalize, you limit your reading to the speed of normal speech, to about 300 w.p.m.

The Mind is capable of thinking much faster than that. So when you subvocalize, you’re literally holding back your mind.

Try this exercise:

As you read, count to yourself, silently, from one to ten. Or, repeat the sound กEeeก, กEeeก, กEeeก. It will be impossible to do this at the same time as subvocalizing, so this is an excellent way of breaking the habit of subvocalization.

As you do this exercise, youกll become aware that you’re no longer processing the words in the tongue/throat region but in an area called ‘thought streamก that you experience in the top of your head.

Thought stream moves much faster than subvocalization. And thatกs why people who subvocalize often have comprehension problems.

Thereกs a mismatch between reading speed and thinking speed. The Mind is constantly racing ahead of the inner voice and so it gets bored. You experience this as an inability to hold your attention on what you’re reading. You have to backskip words, or read the same line twice.

As your reading speed catches up with your thinking speed, reading becomes much less tiring and your comprehension improves.

Once youกve got a feeling for reading in ‘thought streamก, the next thing to do is speed up your eye movements. This will also help break the habit of subvocalization, since your eyes will be moving faster than you can possibly subvocalize.

Your eyes move across the written page in a series of quick jumps. Between each jump thereกs a stop lasting a fraction of second, called a กfixationก. The fixation is when the eye actually takes in the written word.

The untrained eye takes about a quarter of a second at each fixation, and takes in 2 or 3 words per fixation.

By speeding up you eye movements, youกll learn to make fewer fixations per line and take in more words per fixation.

Try this exercise:

If you use a glass กantiglareก screen, draw 2 vertical lines in felttip, 5 cms apart, so that you have a strip 5 cms wide located over the middle of the text you are reading.

Now move your eyes in a กZก pattern down this central strip, at a speed faster slightly faster than is comfortable.

Because your Mind is not reading each word, it is forced to กfill in the gapsก. This engages much more of the Mind, since it has to build associations and patterns in the written material. This in turn leads to greater comprehension and increased memory of what was read.

This technique takes advantage of the fact that much of written English is highly redundant; a lot of words can be skipped without any loss of meaning.

When your eyes move down a central strip of the text, you also engage much more of your peripheral vision. And that in turn brings the right hemisphere of the brain into the reading process. You make much more use of the rightbrainกs ability to synthesize and build relationships within the material.

So speed reading is not just about reading faster; it also allows you to access much more of the brain and thereby increases your comprehension and creativity.

The Secret Weapons of Success

The Secret Weapons of Success

by: Sopan Greene

There are two things that will determine your success or failure in business. Actually, they will be the source of your rise or fall in life whether or not you choose to make money online.

The first success factor will be what you have between your ears. A wise man once said กAs you think, so you become.ก No truer words have ever been spoken.

Your mindset is your life and you control it by feeding it health food or junk food. The mind is like a machine that helps to create whatever it focuses on. This happens even if you’re not aware of it.

Everything in your life today, good or bad, is a product of your past thoughts. If you don’t know what you want you’re going to keep on not getting what you want. You have to take the time to figure out what you want and then to keep your mind focused on bringing it to you.

This isn’t some new age philosophy. Itกs been taught over and over by some of the worlds greatest successes for centuries. Why? Because it works.

How do you put your mind to work for what you want?

Telling you how is the easy part:

Feed your mind with books, tapes, music and movies that inspire you and motivate you to create the life of your dreams

Avoid negative input from books, music, movies, TV, news and magazines that have a reputation for being cynical.

Surround yourself with positive people and keep กdream stealersก out of your life permanently. Lifeกs too short to spend time with complainers instead of creators.

Say affirmations of how you see yourself in the life you want.

Be grateful for whatever you have. When you give thanks for what you have you will attract more of what you want.

Seek out mentors. Find people who are where you want to be. Read about them, contact them and ask how they got there.

Getting you to do these things is the hard part. Not because you don’t want to. Itกs because our busy lives can be filled mostly with negative media and negative people. You can get out of this trap if you stay awake and aware to filtering negativity out of your life. This will change your life in ways nothing else will. So itกs worth it.

The second success factor ties into this. Itกs ACTION. The single worst enemy of a human being is procrastination. It steals your time and nothing is more valuable than your time. Wasting time is wasting your life.

If you are building a business online you need to take action by making a business plan, reading it daily and most importantly working the plan. Don’t just think about it. Even if you can only put in 5 hours a week. Plan out when you will work and what you will do when you work. Then don’t let anything keep you from sticking to your plan.

By taking repeated actions to build your business you can tell your brain what you value. It will lead you to wake up with breakthrough ideas. Youกll start coming into contact with people that think like you and who can help you climb the ladder of success. Youกll keep laying one brick at a time and suddenly youกll look back to see you built a road that leads to the success you want.

Now youกve got the secret weapons for success. Keep your mind focused and clean. Take daily actions to build your dreams.

Sounds simple, but itกs easier said than done. Just do it.

What Company Does Your Business Keep?

What Company Does Your Business Keep?

by: Arun Pal Singh

A man is known by the company he keeps. We have heard that phrase so many times. Our folks have cautioned us often with that in our silly childhood.

Do we heed to that advice in our business? Where do you hang out? What is your business surrounded by?

Have you heard about Christian Huygens?

This genius of early 17th century did something awesome. He discovered a law of resonance. A law which was well accepted in physics later and is now being applied to brain science.

Huygens kept few pendulum clocks on the wall of his room with each clock swinging independently. He discovered that after few cycles of independent cycling all the clocks started swinging precisely synchronized rhythm.

And he gave the world a law that seems inherent law of the nature.

He summarized that waves from clocks produced vibrations in the wall which in response produced waves that synchronized the rhythm of all clocks.

Scientists have now extended that law to working of brain waves and results are very very promising.

Have you ever wondered that successful peoples are surrounded by similar ones? Is it a coincidence that when like minded people are at work the success is more likely!

Let us use this phenomenon to bring success to your business. It may be a home based business, online business or for that matter any venture.

To succeed in your business

Avoid Naysayers

Surround yourself with who have done or believe this can be done.

This is a much overlooked aspect of business. Your company definitely determines the outcome of your business dream.

Naysayers send you negative vibrations like ‘This can’t be done’, ‘You can’t do this’, ‘Oh! It is impossible!’

Your mind reacts to them like walls did to the clock and produces similar waves. Before you realize you already have lost faith in your dream. Naysayers will rotten your business. Keep as much away as possible. Realize your own vibrations and vibrate with belief.

Hang out with the other type, the positive ones. Believe in your business and converse with similar minds. You will be amazed with the difference it makes.

Your mind is the workshop of your success. Every business is first borne in the mind before the mind takes action to shape its vision.

Your mind is the powerhouse of ideas which will make your business a success.

Your mind is the source of your strength that enables you to carry the burden in difficult times.

Feed your mind the good food. Avoid stuffing in the junk food.

When you fall it is important to know and believe that many others have fallen and rose again. That is the attitude which will determine success. One must develop that attitude.

If you hang around with naysayers you will drown further because your own mind refuses to provide the necessary strength.

Success might be on the next turn waiting for you.

If you are negative in your approach you are sure to stop before that turn arrives.

So set your clocks again. It is time to vibrate with right frequency.

Part 1 of 5 How กPipe Dreamsก Can Become Realities!

by: Jon Kogan

Take a look at yourself inside and out. Where do you live what job do you have, how do you relate to your friends and family? What interests do you pursue, what adventures do you have?
What do you truly want from life? Do you want wealth and success, happiness and peace of mind? Do you want a family and a yard, a yacht or a sports car? Where are you going? Do you have a particular goal or are you just wandering through life?
You can accomplish anything you want in life thatกs true. Once you have a particular goal, you can fulfill that desire by straightforward commitment and total conviction.
But what if you don’t know what you want? Maybe your goals are small ones like losing some weight, or buying a new car. Maybe getting a promotion of finding a mate. Whether you want a bigger apartment or want to be a corporation president, any avenue of prosperity and achievement is open to you if it is truly what you want.
No goal is too small; no dream is too big. And even if you aren’t clear on your desires, you can tap into your subconscious mind to get the answers and to find the paths to success.
Can you change your life do you want to? Can you picture yourself as your most perfect image of accomplishment? How does it feel? If you have the desire to attain goals, the commitment to follow through and the ability to creatively imagine yourself in the position you dream of, you are more than halfway there.
The most successful leaders and artists throughout history have followed specific paths and attained their heartsก desires. Keep an open mind and a hopeful outlook then change your thinking. Put on the clothes of success. Act as though you already have accomplished your desires. Then let the reality catch up.
WHAT DO YOU WANT?
Take a choice: money, health, physical energy, beauty, power, recognition, adventure, contentment, achievement, authority, selfexpression, love, peace of mind, enlightenment. Would you like any of these? If you are like most people today, you probably want ALL of these.
But if you search your true desires, you might find that there are a few things you want more than others. And, if you keep going in your search, youกll find one desire that has been with you your whole lifetime and is the one path you need to follow.
Although money is the obvious desire, it is usually not the final goal. Indeed, money can, and does buy happiness up to a point. Once you have enough money to be financially secure or to purchase the material objects you want, the true desire might be something else.
Love is the goal of every personกs heart. Whether it is love of a mate, or a family, or respect and recognition from peers and fellow workers, love is the ageless pursuit. The mystics say that love is the sole purpose of life to give love and to find it.
But love comes in many forms. Not only is there the overt display of affection or true inner feelings, but there is the selfrespect and inner contentment that goes with accomplishment. For some people, true peace of mind will never be attained until they complete some creative tasks or achieve certain heights in business.
Many people seek the authority that comes with a good position in a job. Along with that can come recognition and fame. Although you may want the money that is associated with high management levels, many people simply seek that satisfaction of working from the inner circles.
The goal of every person regardless of background and material desires, is health. A sound body is the gift that will get you to the other goals. Even a new diet and exercise plan can give you more energy the energy youกll need to accomplish success.
Adventure and travel is a driving force for many people. They may seek jobs that involve travel, or they may be looking forward to taking time off to visit the exotic ports and see the other side of the world. If you don’t want a long journey perhaps youกd just like a few weeks in a sunny resort or the luxury of a summer and winter vacation each year.
And then there is creativity and selfexpression. What about the book you’re going to write or the watercolor class youกd like to take? Creative expression is a wonderful inner release that boosts confidence and gives you something to accomplish.
Finally, regardless of wealth and health, expression and love everyone is looking for peace of mind. Thatกs not to say emptiness of mind, but to be rid of petty worries and confusion, to be finished with fears and live in total awareness. It surely is the ultimate lifetime goal.

How To Mind Map Your Business

How To Mind Map Your Business

by: Michael Southon

If you’re doing business on the Web, sooner or later youกll probably begin to feel like a juggler trying to keep ten balls flying through the air at the same time. There are just too many elements in your business plan to keep them all going at once.

The solution?

For many people the solution would be to make a list of all the key elements in their business plan. But lists are linear and the Mind doesn’t think in a linear fashion. The Mind thinks in terms of associations, hierarchy, image, color, form, and pattern. So to organize your ideas and generate new ideas, a Map is much more effective than a list. In fact, at the back of your Mind, you probably already have a vaguelydefined map of your online business. A Mind Map is simply a way of putting that structure down on paper.

Mind Mapping, also known as กRadiant Thinkingก, is a technique that was developed in the 1970กs by Tony Buzan. A Mind Map consists of a central word or concept, with 5 to 10 main ideas radiating out from that central concept.

Hereกs an example of a Mind Map for an Internet Business.

At the center of a blank page are the words กMy Internet Business Planก, circled. Radiating out from those central words are seven key ideas, or Basic Organizing Ideas (BOIs): Search Engine Listings, Ezine Ads, Newsletter, Link Exchange, Writing Ezine Articles, Website, Affiliate Programs. Each of these BOIs is connected to the central circle by outwardpointing arrows, like the branches of a tree. You can see an illustration of this Mind Map at:

http://www.freezineweb.com/mindmap.html

Each Basic Ordering Idea sprouts a further set of ideas, also connected by outwardpointing arrows, like twigs at the end of a branch. For example, the Basic Organizing Idea กEzine Adsก gives rise to four more ideas: กPaid Ads, กAd Swapsก, กFree Adsก, and กAd Trackingก. กAd Swapsก in turn gives rise to two more ideas, กNewsletterก and กWebsiteก and so on. Each Basic Organizing Idea can become the center of another Mind Map.

In one sense, a Mind Map is simply a map of what you know about a given topic, in this case your online business. And so itกs a very effective way of taking an กinventoryก of what you know about a particular subject at a given moment in time.

But a Mind Map also causes your brain to make associations. Because each Basic Ordering Idea can become the center of another Mind Map, a Mind Map is capable of producing endless associations. In fact, if you use a Mind Map, whether you’re writing an Ezine Article, writing an eBook, designing an entire website, or writing a sales letter, itกs virtually impossible to get กWriterกs Blockก; the very structure of a Mind Map keeps giving rise to new associations.

Another key benefit of a Mind Map is that it helps you organize information hierarchically, in a way that is not possible with lists. The treelike structure of a Mind Map is a hierarchy and in the process of arranging your information along the กbranchesก and ‘twigsก of a Mind Map, youกll get a much better grasp of the information you’re dealing with.

So, to sum up, here are the basic techniques for drawing a Mind Map:

Place a central idea or concept in the middle of a blank page, and circle it.

Jot down 5 to 10 Basic Ordering Ideas, radiating out from the central concept.

Connect each Basic Ordering Idea to the central concept with outwardpointing arrows.

As an aid to creating your Basic Ordering Ideas, ask yourself: กIf the central concept of my Mind Map were a book, what would be the chapter headings?ก

Each Basic Ordering Idea can become the center of another Mind Map.

Your Thinking To Breed Success

Your Thinking To Breed Success

by: Dave Jones

There is a place in the Northern Hemisphere where the night time dark remains most of the year and the sky is showcased by a flickering light show. You would all know this well as the Northern Lights.

This is the Artic at its very best and worst because the cold and winds collaborate to bring together one of the harshest environments one could imagine. It speaks well of the humanity who dwell there, albeit few in number, that they religiously celebrate each years return of what begins as a four month long sunny period.

This one occasion warrants attention and a special holiday so with deck chairs resplendent, the locals champion the cold to casually gather and watch the sun make its first tentative 25 minute pass of many more appearances. So begins day one of a very short summer, and with a community revitalized by sunlight, they party with every bit as much lunacy as any new years eve.

So, what is it that makes a people remain and challenge the very hardships such a place holds? That they should muster time and again some inner fortitude to while away those sub zero temperatures. When out of all places one could end up, for whatever reason, they choose to eke out an existence in one of the bleakest landscapes on our Earth?

The mind is a truly wonderful mechanism and when called upon, can adapt to just about any situation shaping the very best outcomes for those with a purpose. The thing is, and itกs in each of us, it’s entirely up to us how we control and apply our minds.

There are lots of external factors and most of those youกll have absolutely no control over, like the number of times you might sight the sun in a year; for example. The way you look at these challenges is everything and the more positive your view the greater your confidence within yourself and the better your likely prospects. But thatกs not the entire picture.

Think back to that last time you felt over the moon about something you did exceptionally well, and it doesn’t necessarily need to be as a result of any particular effort on your part. Iกm sure youกve been there, in that place where you’re on pure adrenalin because something has gone unbelievably well. Ready to take on any challenge. That hole in one on the golf course or at least a no effort golf swing that travels for miles or even that special result in an exam.

Now imagine if you could apply that same euphoria to everyday happenings. Well, thereกs nothing that your mind won’t accept if itกs repeated often enough over and over. Problem is that we generally tend to focus on the not so good. There it is in a nutshell, what your mind is used to seeing is how it will ultimately operate. I mean to say, how would you cope at our earlier sun watching celebration if the cold was too much of a challenge?

Giving up is not something I really have in me and it really stems from wanting to change and improve things until Iกm happy with them. I mention this because if you’re starting out in a business there will be times of frustration where youกll think nothing is working or going right. Bottom line though, you can only get better. From where ever it is that you actually start, the chances are you will only get better, and over time most always you will improve further.

Itกs fairly important then to apply as many of those good things that make us see that special place, into our normal day to day thinking; so that they then become the normal rather than highlights. A series of holes in one if you will.

This applies not only in your business dealings mind you, but into every facet of living because itกs exactly this mindset that uplifts and brings success. The trick is to place it on auto pilot and keep it there.

So if you ever need a reference to stay your mind from an unshakeable negative, spare a thought for our erstwhile inhabitants in our Artic North and find yourself a better place that works for you.

Take a few minutes each hour and progressively go over all of those things that are good and right with you. In no time at all youกll have that sun coming up at the end of a long hard winter….and it will be all that you see. Apply that to your business and thereกs no conceivable frustration that will derail you from getting ahead.
