Can I Really Make Money At Home Filling In Online

Can I Really Make Money At Home Filling In Online Surveys?

by: Nicole Boles

It’s true, this is a very viable approach to many stay at home moms, and dads, college students, retirees, and you name it. No one really believed you could actually earn a monthly income just from getting involved with survey companies and focus groups. It is a simple approach to earning an honest income at home. Most people who desire to work at home, don’t have 8 to 9 hours a day to devote to working, therefore filling in surveys and participating in focus groups is the perfect job. The reason for this is that you can accept whatever assignments you choose and work on them, whenever you choose. The beauty of this job is that when you put your kids to bed at night, you can actually go sit down at your computer and fill out 2 to 3 surveys and earn about $80 to $100 for your time. To give you more assurance that this is a career you can have at home, take today for example, I got a phone call this morning to invite me to participate in a focus group – the pay is $85 for one hour, when I went to my email I had a consumer review survey, paying $15 for 30 minutes. I also had invites to 2 surveys that paid $5 for 10 minutes each of my time. So for one day, I made $110 for less than 2 hours’ work. It is a beautiful thing!

Companies in United States and Canada spend an average of $250 billion in advertising. These companies need to know what the public wants and what they will buy. They also need to know which of their marketing campaigns would encourage consumers to purchase their products. This is where the survey fillers come in. These companies need your opinion and will pay you handsomely for it. It is imperative to their business to have an everyday persons’ opinion on their products and services. For these companies and for the paid survey filler, it is a winwin situation.

Think you would be interested in getting paid for your time, opinions and observations? Read on…

HOW DO YOU GET STARTED EARNING MONEY FILLING IN SURVEYS?

Letกs get started with how to start an at home career by filling in surveys, to do this you need to follow these steps:

Step1: REGISTER WITH ALL THE COMPANIES: This can seem like a long task, but take our word for it, it will pay off. The more companies you register with the more invites to participate in surveys, and thus…more money for you. Even if a survey only gives prizes as rewards, register with them anyways. You would be amazed how many of our members have earned big rewards by winning those survey draws.

Step 2: BE HONEST IN YOUR OPINION: Companies are looking for individuals from all walks of life to fill surveys, there is not one mainstream demographic that they are searching for.

Step 3: CHECK COMPANIES FREQUENTLY: There are several companies that don’t send out email invites to every survey, make sure to browse these companies often to see if there is any paid surveys to participate in.

Step 4: FILL IN THE ADDITIONAL PROFILES: There are several companies that urge you to fill in additional profiles (i.e.: what vehicle you drive, your spending habits online, etc.) I too, urge you to fill in these additional profiles, as they will qualify you for even more surveys, and you will get more invites.

STEP 5: WORK FOR YOURSELF: You are now working for your own income, and it is up to you how much you earn. Your effort in this process is what will pay off, be determined in your surveys, and you will see the benefits!!!

Paid To Read/ Paid to Click Programs: Can You Real

Paid To Read/ Paid to Click Programs: Can You Really Make Money From It??

by: Jon Dell

Paid to read and paid to click programs, otherwise known as PTR/PTC are legitimate online scheme that are now proliferating on cyberspace. This method is employed by many internet companies in their advertising campaigns. These companies pay people for reading emails. They pay you when you click a link in the email and visit the site that they are advertising, usually for a set amount of time. Others offer payment for surfing, clicking links, banner or just for joining or subscribing to a program. They also give additional money when you get other people to join under your link.

Some people say, itกs not worth they time. กYes they pay, but for a measly sum.. and it takes so much time and effort before you receive your checkก.

About two years ago, I joined some of these PTRE companies and started reading emails and clicking links hoping that I can earn some amount for my gas. I earned a few bucks after six months and I am tempted to stop. But I realized that I only did one part of the system. I never advertise and tell anyone about it… and thatกs the reason why I never accumulate my earnings.

The secret to making money on PTR/PTC is to build a network of members under your name. You see, these companies give additional bonus if those people under you read their emails. And thatกs where the real buck is. Imagine, if you have 10 people under you and those 10 recruited 10 each, you will then be entitled to some amount everytime those 110 people click their emails. The good thing is that most of these PTR/PTC pay up to 5 levels of your downline.

But certainly, you will not accumulate thousands of dollars reading emails and clicking banners. But if you have the habit of sitting in front of the computer daily, maybe, you might as well give this a try. Spending an hour opening your inbox will not harm you anyway. And sometimes, you can really find good offers and products that you do not find in your usual surfing cruise.

May I just give you a few tips in case you are tempted to join a few of these PTR programs. Before joining any program, it is important that you read exactly their offers. What you should look carefully are the following:

Payout Scheme: it is advisable to pick those that give low and reasonable payouts;

Mode of Payment: usually, most PTR/PC pay in check but others also offer payment through egold, paypal or stormpay. Select what will be the most convenient on your situation;

Pay rates: The range is usually from 1 cent to 10 cents, but others also give special rates for special click options and pay to join program;

Signup Bonus: Usually, itกs better to pick those that offer lower signup bonus. Those that give $50, $100 will put you waiting because, their payout will also be much higher.

There is one last thing: Joining too many PTRE programs may clutter your mailbox. For starters, it is advisable to pick at least 10. Make sure that these programs also give you some freedom to choose the type and categories of product ads that you wish to receive. That way, you can also have some enjoyment of viewing the offers.

To build you network, it is important to put those ten PTRE companies into one URL to make your referral task more easier. There are some sites that offer site consolidation.

One can be found at www.ptre.allreal.net.

Good for starters. If you join from their site, you also learn to setup your own mini website that will offer all the programs that you join.. all for free. I suggest that you visit the site to overcome your possible difficulty in building your downlines.

PTRE is all for real and its free. If you need money and looking for a job, certainly this can help. But never expect to get enormous riches out of it.

Why Paid Inclusion is better than PPC advertising

Why Paid Inclusion is better than PPC advertising

by: Kristian Pulz

When search engines pay website owners a percentage of the bid cost, you’re just looking for trouble. This is the problem with Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising, especially with smaller named search engines. Many websites request or even pay there visitors to search a specific search engine and click on a result. This just sends advertisers fake leads and causes problems for the advertisers that paid for the keyword listing. Many PPC search engines offer webmasters up to 80% of the bid price. For example, letกs say I pay กExample Search Engineก $1 for the keyword Viagra, they then pay webmasters $.80 per visitor they send that searches and clicks on a bided search term. You can see why PPC can be a problem.

Paid Inclusion offers a safer, less expensive form of search engine advertising. You pay one price to have your site listed in a specific search engine, often under a specific keyword. Your site will also be updated on the search engines data base more often then non paid sites. Paid Inclusion costs and average of $25 a year per URL submitted. Plus the cost goes down the more URLกs you submit at one time. PPC usually starts at $.01 per click being the cheapest bid per keyword, but youกd be lucky to find a keyword that low that would result in any clicks.

Something to be aware of when advertising on PPC search engines. Although you are paying for your site to be viewed in a search engine, many times your site will show up on other people websites. This is a common practice on both Google and Overture search engines. Advertisers have to opt out of this service if they only want to be shown in the search engine,. In my opinion, this will help reduce fraudulent clicks of your paid search term.

This isn’t to say every PPC search engine is bad. For example, Mamma.com offers a fixed price per website category. They then rotate all the websites in a category evenly. Websites big and small get their advertising site seen the same amount of time. Before spending money on a PPC search engine be sure to read how they protect advertisers against fraudulent clicks. This will help make sure you get more for your money.

If there was only a way to eliminate fraudulent clicks in PPC advertising. It would make using this method of search engine advertising well worth the extra costs. After all, you are getting targeted hits to your site by people searching for precise keywords.

Youกve Got a Mailing List. Now What?

Youกve Got a Mailing List. Now What?

by: Scott Foreman

You thought that if you could just get people on your emailing list, you’d be on Easy Street. Part of that thought is right because without a mailing list your email marketing strategy is irrelevant. If you’ve got a mailing list, my hat is off to you. But now that you’ve got them, how do you keep track of them?

In this second (of three) part series, we will discuss integrated marketing tools. Namely, we are talking about socalled Complete Marketing Tools (or just, Tools) that come in many shapes and sizes, but are mostly applications that combine Ad Trackers, Autoresponders, and Shopping Carts. If you missed part 1 of this series, please check it out at: http://www.buildpassiveincome.com/cmd.php?ad=122106

What comes with the privilege of having a large marketing list, is the responsibility of keeping up with it. Complete Marketing Tools are set up just for that purpose, among many others. The Tool effortlessly integrates signing up new prospects as well as erasing list members who opt out of your publications.

Additionally, the Tool can manage rejected email messages without you ever having to deal with them. Whether the email you send is rejected due to Hard Bounces, Soft Bounces, or SPAM, the Tool is smart enough to either continue trying to send a message or remove the name from you list altogether.

Also, with just a few mouse clicks, you can manage your prospects between different mailing lists, autoresponders, and broadcasts. Such flexibility in a mailing list is hard to appreciate until you have to spend your precious time manually removing prospects with bad email addresses or some other tedious task.

If managing your mailing list isn’t enough for you, Complete Marketing Tools offer comprehensive affiliate management systems as well. From multi tier programs to commission payment scheduling to tutorials for new members, your affiliates will be better prepared because of the Tool. Likewise, you will be better equipped to manage your growing affiliate army.

If you want to set limits on your payout threshold, the Tool will do that in less than 30 seconds. You can also choose to pay your affiliates for whatever result you are looking; from pay per sale to pay per lead and more. If you’re looking for a one or two tier affiliate program, a Complete Marketing Tool is exactly what you need to save time and effort of your part.

Whether managing prospects or managing affiliates, the Complete Marketing Tool can give you a flexibility and ease of use that you may not have known even existed. In the meantime, next week we’ll discuss the Tool’s ability to handle Autoresponder and Broadcast messages.

Take a tour of our favorite Tool and see if won’t pay for itself many times over in time saved. http://www.buildpassiveincome.com/cmp.php?ad=120452

Pay Per Click Advertising For Home Business Owners

Pay Per Click Advertising For Home Business Owners

by: Kevin OกHara

The biggest stumbling block for most home business owners is marketing their business. Most will start at free to post FFA pages and safelists. Most free advertising will never be seen by anyone and as a result business owners get discouraged and quit.

Pay Per Click search engines are one of the most effective tools you can use to bring quick targeted traffic to your site. With payperclick search engines, you pay every time a visitor clicks on your link, anything from a few cents to a few dollars. Lets say you have a site that sells camping gear and you want to rank in the top ten in the search engines for the term camping gear. To be ranked in one of the top ten spots in the free search engines, youกd probably be looking at several months’ minimum, if ever. But in the payperclick search engine you can grab a top ten spot anytime you want. Thatกs because all you have to do is see how much the person who has the position you want is paying per click, and simply outbid them by paying one penny more. Then when your potential customer searches for the term camping gear your link will show up as one of the top 10 listings on the search results page. Each time someone clicks on your link, youกll pay however much you have bid for that position.

The advantages of bidding on keywords with pay perclicks are that you get highly targeted advertising, because you only pay when someone actually clicks through to your site. Your listing get posted quickly and you can start profiting from increased traffic almost immediately. In order to be in one of the top ten positions, all you have to do is outbid your competitors, which is only a matter of a penny more per click.

Done right, payperclick advertising can be very profitable and to help you ensure your campaigns are profitable avoid keywords that are too general. General keywords will attract a lot of traffic but drive up the cost of your pay per click campaign and convert very few visitors to sales because general search terms aren’t specific enough or in very high demand. Try using keyword phrases, two or three words that pertain to your business. Use any search term suggestion tool and put in your keyword. The results will show your term, how many times it has been searched and also show many different variations. Try to pick one that is more specific to what you’re trying to advertise using two or three words. That will lower you’re cost and be more targeted. The money you save by doing this will enable you to bid on more keywords and you can still get the same exposure without competing for the expensive terms.

How to Make the Most of Your Home Internet Based B

How to Make the Most of Your Home Internet Based Business Opportunity in the Search Engines

by: Adrian Austin

The main part of making a home Internet based business opportunity work is advertising it. The best way of advertising on the Internet is through search engines. The three ways search engines work is through natural search, pay for inclusion(PFI), pay per click(PPC), and a combination of PFI and PPC.

Natural search is free. Say you sell widgets. A potential customer will go to a search engine and put in the term กwidgetsก. The results they get will be a list of sites that sell widgets. Hopefully one of the top sites will be yours.

To get a high ranking site, you try to make your site search engine friendly by having key words and other content. Since Google.com was born in 1998, the use of search engines has gone up. Approximately 114.5 million Americans or 39% of the U.S. population use search engines.

In addition to Google, thereกs yahoo.com, msn.com, askjeeves.com, and others. Each search engine has its own algorithm for ranking websites. The way to make the most of your home Internet based business opportunity is focus less on algorithms and more on the needs of the siteกs visitors.

You can also use pay for inclusion and pay per click to promote your home Internet based business opportunity. Pay for inclusion is when a site owner pays a search engine to be included in their directory. Yahoo.com, looksmart.com, inktomi.com, and teoma.com have pay for inclusion programs. Usually the site will be in the directory for a certain amount of time such as a year.

Pay per click is when you bid on search terms at a PPC site, and usually the higher you bid, the higher your listing on a search engine. Those most successful in these ventures have a popular, highmarkup product with targeted keyword strategies.

Choosing the right keywords you think your potential customers will use on search engines can be tricky. Start with a basic keyword and expand on it. A yellow page search, yahoo directory, or Open Directory (dmoz.com) can help you find out what keywords are relevant to your product. Google Adwords has a tool that lets you find keywords (https://adwords.google.com/select/main?cmd=KeywordSandbox).

These sites are also keyword finders www.inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/ and www.wordtracker.com. Another way to get keywords is to go to competing sites, and look at their keywords in their titles, descriptions and HTML source code. You can do this by right clicking on a site and clicking on กView Page Sourceก.

Use your site logs to find out visitor statistics and search engine referral information on keywords. Ask your customers what keywords they use. Do they use singular or plural forms? Do they use brand name or geographicspecific terms? Determining the search engine game will help your home Internet based business opportunity be more successful.

How Much Is Your Popcorn Worth?: Powerful Lessons

How Much Is Your Popcorn Worth?: Powerful Lessons In Marketing And The Psychology Of Selling Part 1

by: Ian Canaway

In the following กspecial report,ก I will reveal some very powerful marketing strategies and psychological motivators that can easily help you make more profits from your business, no matter what business you’re in.

Be sure to read it thoroughly, and take notes as needed so that you can take maximum advantage of the information being covered.

Hereกs how it all began…

One day, I noticed an interesting marketing concept. So, I sent my subscribers an interesting question. Hereกs what I sent to them…

กIf you had to sell popcorn, how much would you be able to charge for it?

Most of us would be willing to spend around one to two dollars on it. And Iกm talking about a nice sized bag.

But, hereกs something interesting…

Movie theatres charge 3 to 6 dollars for their popcorn! And you don’t even get nearly as much popcorn as youกd get elsewhere!

Whatกs the deal? Is their popcorn กspecial?ก

Not really. But they’re still able to charge 2 to 3 times more than others and still have people buying in droves.

How are they doing it?? If you can answer that, Iกll give you a special prize. 🙂 Just reply to this note with your answer. It doesn’t have to be the right answer, as long as you stop to think about it.ก

Within minutes of sending the email out, the responses started pouring in…

Some were extremely short and to the point, with statements like… กBecause they canก or กItกs the smellก or กBecause people get hungry.ก

Yes, some people do get hungry and have to buy กsomething.ก But thatกs not the bulk of the buyers by any means. And…if they get hungry and are forced to pay the high prices, they mostly likely will not want to be caught in that situation again, will they?

And, yes, some do buy it because they can’t resist the smell. But thereกs more to it than that.

Other answers said, กItกs the perfect locationก … กSupply and demandก … กCaptive audience.ก

Another answer stated…

กMonopoly! You can’t bring anything into the theatre and once you are in, there is no where else to purchase popcorn.ก

Thatกs not necessarily a wrong answer. But, it does make one wonder… If they corner their customers in this way and charge them high prices, wouldn’t most customers be either outraged not to buy, or at least not buy again, in the future?

The question that comes up is… why do they continue to buy it and pay these outrageous prices?

Another subscriber suggested…

กPeople don’t go to see the movies everyday. So, they are willing to pay the high prices once per weekend.ก

Sure, thatกs possible. Although, I think at some point, theyกd get tired of having to pay the high prices, wouldn’t you say?

They can’t be paying the high prices just because they กhave to.ก Itกs gotta be because they กwant to.ก

But, why would they want to, despite the outrageous prices? Could it be that price just isn’t an issue in this case? Hmm…

One subscriber started a discussion in his office, and sent these responses…

กSome said itกs because itกs the only place you can get กMovie theatreก popcorn, some said because the taste or when they smell it they have to have it.

Others said because they have to be eating something.

My thought is because they have the market trained. And, it didn’t start with this generation…

Parents brought their kids to the movies and either by example or verbally trained the kids to buy popcorn at the movies Itกs just what you do…ก

Ahh… now we’re getting somewhere.

In Internet Marketing You Must Have a Strategy

In Internet Marketing You Must Have a Strategy

by: Linda Quinones

When you make the decision to start an Internet business or for that matter any business you must have a plan (strategy). This is essential in order to succeed.

You don’t throw a dart at a list of possible business opportunities and settle for the one where the dart lands.

It must be a well thought out decision and plan on how you are going to make money in the business, if you read all the hype out there that tells you all you have to do is spend a couple of bucks, get a website and lay back and watch the money come in think again.

First don’t spend any money on those fancy internet ads telling how they guarantee you that the money will start rolling in as soon as you buy the software they are peddling.

There is a lot of good software out there, but if you are somewhat technically challenged, spend some time doing research the time spent will save you money and aggravation.

Remember the old saying haste makes waste, so take your time and read as many articles as you can on what exactly it is that you want to do.

The Internet is loaded with information on Internet marketing some very good and some not so good, so spend some time sorting the information out.

If you have expertise in a particular area and there is room for one more then start formulating a plan. Companies without a plan will either fail or develop one in midstream. It’s preferable to have one from the beginning in order to measure your progress and see if everything is going according to plan.

The plan must be flexible and allow you to change directions as you go along, as you gain experience your will want to make adjustments.

BUILD YOUR OWN WEBSITE.

First step should to get a website with your own domain name, many people get involved in MLM’s to avoid doing the work.

That is the lazy men’s way to go, having your own website is a must, it allow to track the traffic and see where your customers are coming from.

If you are paying for business you want to make sure your money is being well spent, you are in business to make money.

SELECT YOUR BUSINESS.

Determine what type of product(s) you want to sell, if you are going to have different type of stores the select a mixture of well know stores and lesser known ones.

The well known names usually pay a smaller commission than the less known counterparts. You need the high paying stores to carry the low paying ones.

This will allow you to offer incentives to Businesses and other customers you want to make regular visitors to your site. KEYWORDS.

Keywords are extremely important to your business plan, after all you want customer to be able to find you when searching by keyword.

So use every conceivable combination possible to allow for different variations and misspelling. When someone types into the search engine a product, you want to be found.

GET LINKS.

Have linking strategy reciprocal linking is an important part of page ranking with search engines, reciprocal linking is another way of getting traffic from other sites that are similar to yours.

Links coming into your site will go a long way in optimizing your site, but don’t pay for links, some of the link farms out there with thousands of links will not do anything for you.

PAY PER CLICK.

Pay per click is the quickest way to generate traffic to your site.

Develop a strategy to have your customer willingly provide their email address so that you can inform them of money saving promotions by the affiliates.

Once you have developed a large enough mailing list this will provide you with a steady source of potential repeat customers.

If you don’t promote your site nobody will come so advertise your site and entice people to come and spend some money.

Affiliate Marketing What Is It And Why Use It?

Affiliate Marketing What Is It And Why Use It?

by: Stephen Warren

Affiliate Marketing is having Affiliates do your Marketing for you. What I mean by Affiliate is someone who tells people about your product/service and you pay them for a desired response, such as a purchase.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the best ways to get the word out about your product/service.

The best way to pay Affiliates is pay per sale. This means that you only have to pay your Affiliates when they actually make a sale. This reduces your advertising costs dramatically. your Affiliates take on all the risks so you don’t have to worry about wasting your money on advertising which may not produce any results.

Using Affiliate is a very cheap way to advertise, however it is very effective. The software required to start up your own Affiliate program can cost only about $50 per month.

Then after that just wait for people to start promoting your product/service for you.

Please remember that 5% of your Affiliates will do 95% of the selling. What I mean by this is that most of your Affiliates will just sit there and do nothing. This can be countered if you teach them what to do, exactly how to do it and providing everything for them so they have to do as little work as possible.

To find out about teaching your Affiliates please see the กHow To Super Charge Your Affiliatesก article

You don’t have to use this form of advertising just to sell your product or service. You can also use it to grow your optin mailing list. This is discussed in another article.

How Much Should You Pay Your Affiliates

How much you pay your Affiliates really depends on how much your product/service costs, its profit margin, how much you’re willing to give up and what action you want to take place.

Lets say that your product is priced at $100. Lets also assume that it cost you $10 to make it. This leaves you with $90 profit.

How much of this do you want to give away to the person that made this sale possible?

Personally, I believe that you should give a rather high percentage of the profits back to the affiliate (Depending on how many sales they regularly generate), because without them, you wouldn’t have made that particular sale at all, so reward them for it.

A fairly decent reward is about 50% of the revenue generated. Your product is priced at $100 so a $50 commission is quite generous. It really depends on your other costs (such as a mortgage) you have, which would help decide on a fair commission to both you and the Affiliate.

Another factor which plays a part is how much additional advertising you do, such as pay per click. For example, if you rely solely on your Affiliates to Market for you, then you may want to reduce the commission you pay to them to help you survive. However, you may want to pay them more, to encourage them to send more sales you way. It really is a judgment call.

On the other hand, if you advertise in other ways effectively, then you can afford to pay higher commissions, because you’re not putting all your eggs in one basket.

In the end itกs all down to how greedy or generous you are. The best advice I can give you is to pay the affiliate what you think he/she deserves. Hopefully that way everyone is happy and earning their fair share.

That is the key to a successful affiliate program.

SPIN, Relevant To Both Salesmanship & Advertising!

SPIN, Relevant To Both Salesmanship & Advertising!

by: Daniel Levis

What can face to face selling tell you about online salesletters & advertising?

Plenty, once you understand the basics of direct response marketing. Remember, the Internet is the ultimate direct response vehicle. Using a website, or email as an advertising medium gives you two very important elements that are critical for direct response success.

You have virtually unlimited messaging space, so you can & should tell your full sales story, & you have almost instant feedback. Itกs more like the face to face sales call than any other form of passive media.

That said, let me illustrate some face to face selling fundamentals that you can relate to your online sales efforts.

‘the SPIN Conceptก

Neil Rackham turned the world of highticket salesmanship on its ear. By observing over 35,000 actual sales calls, he scientifically isolated & identified the specific behaviors exhibited by successful salespeople. He called it SPIN selling.

Situation, Problem, Implication, Need Payoff.

It should come as no surprise that one of the things that he discovered was that successful salesmanship means asking a lot of questions, before presenting products. This is just common sense. What would you think of your Doctor if he told you, ขHere, take these Zoloft tablets. By the way, what seems to be bothering you?ข Probably not very much, so don’t ‘show up & throw up’, ask questions.

So far, so good, but what kind of a questioning process most often resulted in a positive result?

Here’s what he discovered.

At the beginning of the sales cycle, good questions about the buyer’s situation were well received, provided these questions were perceived by the buyer to be relevant, and to illicit information that was not easily obtained elsewhere. The best situation questions were those that built on the seller’s research. For example, ขMany of the homes in this area have sump pumps, do you have one too?ข Neil characterized these ‘situation’ questions as being of a factfinding nature (who, where, when, what, how, yes/no). They serve to give the salesperson a frame of reference for the client’s specific setting. The client appreciates being treated as an individual, but quickly becomes impatient with too many of these ‘situation’ questions.

The successful salesperson maintains the customer’s interest by following on with questions that seek to identify or better understand a problem that exists within the prospective client’s situation. For example ขDo you find it worrisome when you travel, wondering whether the power might go out, causing the sump pump to stop working when you’re away?ข Again this shouldn’t come as a big surprise to anyone, right? No problem, no sale. But Rackham soon discovered that getting a customer to admit to a problem & then addressing that problem in a sales presentation was rarely enough to win the sale.

The sales calls that most often resulted in a sale, or an advance, were characterized by what Neil termed implication & need pay off questions. Implication questions serve to explore the ramifications of a problem. In the examples we’ve got going, the prospect relies on a sump pump to keep water out of her basement. Instead of diving directly into a sales pitch for a battery back up unit, the salesperson exhibiting winning salesmanship would ask additional questions to magnify the problem, before presenting the solution. ขWould you have a flood, if you’re sump pump where to fail?ข ขCleaning up after a flood is not a pleasant thought, but did you know that if it were to happen, it could also result in health threatening molds starting to grow between the framing & the concrete?ข ขCould it put your insurance up, if you were to file a claim?ข And so on.

Before a prospect will spend money on solving a problem, it has to hurt. But people need to feel empowered & confidant when they buy, and that’s where ‘need pay off’ questions come in. Need pay off questions serve to stimulate the imagination. They get the prospect envisioning the pay off that they get by buying into your solution. Here are a couple of examples. ขWould you consider adding a recreation room in the basement here, after we install this battery back up system for you?ข ขWouldn’t that greatly enhance the enjoyment of your home?ข

I submit to you that what Niel Rackham discovered as an observer of thousands of sales calls has a parallel in online advertising. While a piece of media can’t respond in real time to a specific customer’s questions, it should most definitely be based on the most common responses to those questions.

It should be very much like the presentation that the salesperson gives to the customer after uncovering the implications of the problem. It should set the stage (situation), discuss the problem, explore the varied implications of that problem, and create a vision of how much better life could be (need payoff), with your solution.

The most effective online advertising (salesmanship in print) does just this.

These concepts are also present in a winning sales letter. Take a look at some of the parallels that you can find in Robert Collier’s famous ขsalesmanship in printข letters.

The take away point is this. Take the time to survey your salespeople & your customers to uncover the ripple effects of both the problems that you are trying to solve, as well as the solution that you can provide. You might be surprised by what you discover. Then work those insights into your online advertising copy & sales letters to enhance perceived value.

5 Simple Techniques to Work at Home Forever

5 Simple Techniques to Work at Home Forever

by: Sylvie Charrier

If youกve spent any time online, you will already know that there are lots of scams out there! You might have even begun to doubt that there are any workathome positions available for serious jobseekers. If this sounds like you, you aren’t alone!

Believe me, there are real home based jobs, but what most of the work at home sites omit in their information packages is that it takes work to get work. Finding a telecommuting job can be a full time job in itself, but if you don’t have all the facts, you will be spinning your wheels trying to get somewhere or you will probably give up within a few weeks. That would be a shame, because there aren’t enough high quality telecommuters as it is!

Look, I know you’re skeptical. So was I, a few short years ago. That was before I started implementing some very unique strategies that allowed me to generate so much work from my small home office, that I needed to hire extra staff just to keep up with it all!

The strategies I used are actually very simple, and you can duplicate these ideas to become a very successful telecommuter. In fact, I want you to copy my techniques, even if it means I create my own competition! Why? Because every time a new person starts to work from home more successfully and efficiently, that means one more employer is happy with the concept of hiring homeworkers! That means everyone gets more jobs, and more opportunities to do what we all love to do…working at home in our pyjamas!

So, let’s cover the top 5 simple techniques you can use to work at home forever, shall we?

Never pay for any job! There is never a good reason to pay for work, and I am amazed at how many jobseekers waste precious time and money chasing after schemes that will never pay. It wastes a lot of time you could better spend targeting your jobsearch to legitimate and valid work.

Get your materials ready! You are going to need to be ready before you start looking for work. You will need a specialized telecommuter’s resume, an excellent cover letter template, and an online portfolio that showcases samples of your work. Without these things in place ahead of time, you will not be ready for rapid response when an employer needs to see your stuff.

Make sure you have all the equipment and software you’re going to need! Depending on your skill set, you’re probably going to need special software and equipment to do your job right. Don’t expect an employer to pay for these things. A prospective employer is more likely to hire the next person who is properly equipped, rather than hire you if you expect the employer to pay for what you need to do your job.

Know what you do for a living! This is an absolute necessity if you want to work from home. You may think that you want to do ขtyping at homeข, but if that’s all you can think of, then you’re wasting time. Think about how your typing skills will be useful to your employer, come up with creative applications of that skill, set up samples to show what your service looks like, and plan ahead on how much you will charge for that service. Be willing to tell prospective employers exactly what you do and how much you charge for it.

Change your strategy! Instead of looking for jobs that have already been posted online, and have already been taken, look for companies that are well suited for your talents. Create your own work by contacting companies that have not yet posted jobs online, and eliminate the competition. But, make sure you know exactly what service you plan to offer that company, and why it is useful to them. Don’t bother contacting companies by sending vague resumes. That technique never works! Contact targeted companies with specific services in mind, and let them know you are open to alternate suggestions.

These techniques work extremely well, and using them allowed me to build my home based service company from scratch, without spending a dime on advertising. I was broke when I started working from home, and I didn’t have a computer. Using these techniques, I was able to slowly build my business and develop a client base that has consistently earned me more money than if I was working onsite. You can do it too!

Basic Steps Toward a New Language

Basic Steps Toward a New Language

by: Scott Foreman

I thought I was unique, but the more folks I talked with, the more I realized that many people started just like I did. When I first got into my online business, I knew nothing about computer programming. I figured that I must be the only one in online marketing with such undeveloped computer skills. It turns out, there are many of you that started just like me.

No matter where we start, however, computer skills are essential in the online world. More and more frequently, programming knowledge is not only helpful, but required. It’s just not businesssmart to pay someone else to make every single change on your website.

Even if you are a programming newbie, all is not lost. You probably already know, for instance, that a huge amount of website programming is done in HTML (HyperText Markup Language). HTML was designed so that the ‘average’ website owner could create and edit content easily and quickly. If you don’t know what HTML looks like, get a glance by going to your favorite website. In the menu at the top of the screen click View and then click Source. Theoretically, this will give you the HTML code for the page you are viewing. There is an amazing amount of functionality involved with HTML coding. With knowledge of just a few commands, you can make a huge number of formatting and esthetic changes to your web page. With just a little bit more knowledge of the basic commands, you can enact very detailed adjustments to your site.

Let me give you a few examples that you may already know. When you use the command …, all text that replaces the ‘…’ will be emboldened. With … you can probably guess that the enclosed text will be centered. If you want a line break, use the command at the end of your sentence.

As I said, you probably already know those commands, but there are many that are just as easy and useful that you may not know. Just a little bit of research into the standard HTML commands can give you a world of knowledge in this userfriendly programming language.

Whether you have to completely redo your website or just want to make a few choice format changes, basic HTML knowledge is invaluable. Learning a few of the commands can give you a significant advantage over your competition, not to mention saving you money through doityourself programming work.

When you’re ready, check out how much HTML you can learn in just one hour. http://www.buildpassiveincome.com/cmd.php?ad=127595

Remember, be good to yourself and never underestimate the power associated with the intensity of your passion.
