Your Personal Fortune Is In Your Words!

Your Personal Fortune Is In Your Words!

by: Ron Pioneer

What is the most important skill you can possess as an Internet Marketer?

Your words!

The words you choose to use in your ad copy, in your sales letters and on your website will determine your success in sales!

Improve your กwordก skills daily. Read the ads that come to your mailbox (spam) and learn what words others are using to SELL their product. More important read your competitors ads. What words do they use to SELL their product?

Carl Jung did a study and has determined people fall into one of 4 groups:

1. Thinkers

2. Feelers

3. Sensors

4. Intuitors

Thinkers are detailed oriented, logical and their fear is criticism. They will check and recheck facts. Targeting this group you will need to use factual numbers, precise words outlining benefits of saving money and value for money spent. Be professional and conservative giving the thinker facts and space to make their decision.

Feelers are risk takers and highly competitive. Entrepreneurs and investors fall into this category. They are assertive and confident and do not have time to waste time. To target this group you will need to use กstrengthก words, saving time, money and appeal to health related issues. Be quick and confident with your words to attract a กfeelerก.

Sensors are idea people, advertising, writers…anything creative. People of this group are prone to buy กstatusก. Use words that will make them feel important, well liked, and recognized. The sensors are into things that will help them become more organized, they like software and books. Approach this group with friendship, show you are not กall businessก.

The Intuitors are excellent listeners and patient. They are slow in making decisions. They are กcomfortก people and if they are comfortable with you, will purchase from you. They are turned off by fast talking salespeople so you will need to make friends with them first, selling yourself and finding a common ground between you and them. Use comfort words.

Look at your product. Think about the above groups and write down words you feel would attract each group. Go to http://www.dictionary.com and http://www.thesaurus.com, expand on the words you have written down. Avoid hype but find some words that will spice up your adcopy.

Do not try to sell your product in your ad. You are only writing to your target group to get them to take the next step. Use your email address or set up an autoresponder so you can capture the email address of your prospect, and to send them a more details of your offer. Use words that will appeal to each target group.

Create a picture in the readers mind. Itกs like telling a story, you have a beginning, a middle and an end. Your ad is a ‘teaserก to get them to WANT to read your story. (know more about your product)

Finally, please follow ‘truth in advertisingก. Educate yourself on the FTC guidelines. http://www.ftc.gov Your product must be legal and you must be ethical and honest promoting your product. No amount of words can fix that!

The words you choose WILL sell your product…choose them well!

The Most Powerful Niche In The World And How You C

The Most Powerful Niche In The World And How You Can Always Profit From It

by: Markus Wahlgren

There is one piece of software that is always going to be purchased like hotcakes regardless of how the market is. No matter if it is a recession, no matter if most people experience a กslowก market. It is not even new. It is what made the industrial world what it is today, and it all started with a man called Henry Ford.

What For did was to implement the use of the conveyor belt in a large scale, and later this automation process was then one step further when robots where invented. This completely revolutionized the way we all live.

Boring, hard, repetetive tasks where now being completed with tireless metal slaves, and big money was made because the robots don’t require rest or even a salary.

So what does this have to do with you and your business? Invent the robot again! Well, sort of. The niche that I am talking about is automation software. Because, you see, this is a robot of sorts, and they have excised since the boom of the Internet, and there will always be a market for it. Internet marketing fads and trends always bring new tasks to be performed.

If you can make help a marketer make this time consuming tasks a breeze he will save time and money, so heกll buy it. Take blogging for example. When the big blogging trend started, and marketers all over the world saw the opportunity to get indexed fast by the search engines they all jumped on the blog craze. Smart people began developing software to autopost, autoping, autothis and autothat, and yes, these small pieces of scripts and software made people a lot of money.

Same thing happened several years ago with autosubmitters. Buy a piece of software and it will optimize your page for the search engines and submit it to hundreds of them. See, another robot saving time and money for a lot of people.

More examples? Recently several sites has begun offering articlepulling software that takes articles from directories and inserts them in templates, another timesaver. There will always, always be a need for automation software and it will always be in high demand.

So there you have it, an everhungry audience with money to spend (since they are making money and what you sell to them can save them time and make them even more money). That, and the fact that man is lazy by nature.

So the next time you see a marketing trend, find what you could do to cash in on by automating it. Make yourself a blueprint and send it of to the freelance sites. Have it built for you, and write, or have someone write, the killercopy for your product. Do you smell the money yet?

The Psychology of Urgency: Make Them Want It Now!

The Psychology of Urgency: Make Them Want It Now!

by: Scott Moldenhauer

ขI’ll think it over and get back to you.ข ขSure, we’ll do that someday.ข ขI need to check with my colleagues.ข ขGive me a call next month, then we can set a date.ข

Tired of excuses? Looking for a more successful way to get others to take immediate action?

For the last century, psychologists have been studying simple persuasion tactics that can be used to motivate people and elicit a certain response from them. One such powerful technique is the creation of a sense of urgency. This article focuses on building this feeling and using it as a means of persuading your business customers.

The Psychology of Limited Resources

The first strategy for getting people to take immediate action is to present yourself or your product as ขlimited,ข ขscarce,ข or ขin demand.ข Why? People want what they can’t have. Repeatedly, psychologists have shown that human beings find more value in things that they have a hard time obtaining.

If you tell someone that he can’t have something, he ends up wanting it more. You may have experienced this in your own life. Have you ever found yourself interested in a home or a car and then discovered that someone else may be considering buying it first? If you’re anything like me, the item becomes even more valuable to you. You are more motivated to get it.

Do You Want It? You Can’t Have It!

This is an important point for sales and marketing purposes. Car salespeople are quick to let us know that the car they are trying to sell us is the last model of its kind and will be unavailable in the future. Newspaper and television ads constantly remind us that the ขsale ends soon,ข that ขsupplies are limitedข and that ขtime is running out.ข

Some retail stores create motivation by putting ขsoldข tags on merchandise that they have a hard time selling. When customers see the ขsoldข tag, they become more interested in buying the item. Infomercials place a ticking clock at the end of the advertisements. They say, ขOrder before the clock runs out and you will also receive a free set of knives.ข

Getting Immediate Results

When I first started speaking and consulting, it was hard for me to get business. I made the error of telling potential customers that I would be available whenever they were ready to hire me. Big mistake.

It wasn’t until I became so busy that I had to start turning customers away that I was able to charge what I am worth. When they felt as if they couldn’t have me, they wanted me more. When I was inaccessible, they became anxious and assigned more value to my service. This sense of urgency was really advantageous to my business.

Here are three steps that you can use to create a sense of urgency in others:

1. Set a deadline. People are natural procrastinators. Without a deadline—and the potential risk of losing something—people will wait until they collect more information, talk it over with their spouses, or save more money. By setting a deadline, you create an inner force that will help them take action.

2. Remind them that your offer is ขlimited.ข Always present your opportunity as being limited with regards to time or quantity. If someone asks you whether you have a certain product in stock, don’t say, ขOh, yeah, we have tons of them.ข The better approach is to say, ขYeah, we have a few, but they go quickly.ข

3. Play hard to get. Remember, people want what they can’t have. By sounding too available, you’re diminishing your value. By sounding somewhat unavailable, you’re greatly increasing your value. Never say, ขOh, yes, I’m available any day next week.ข Instead, use the more powerful and persuasive approach by saying, ขHmmm, I’m very busy next week, but I might be able to squeeze you in.ข

Will Seminars Get You Clients?

Will Seminars Get You Clients?

by: C.J. Hayden

I often suggest public speaking as a powerful way to show prospective clients what you can do. Many professionals and consultants have built successful practices by giving free presentations to associations, businesses, and educational institutions. But what about producing your own seminar, where you arrange the logistics and invite the guests? Does this work as a strategy for landing clients?

Offering a seminar can be an effective means to become more visible to your target market. If you are a good (or even fair) presenter, and the right people come to your seminar, you will definitely get new customers. But to use seminar marketing successfully, you need to be very clear on your goals, and plan each seminar carefully.

If the purpose of your seminar is primarily to get clients, you shouldn’t be expecting to make money on the seminar itself. You may wish merely to cover your expenses, or maybe even spend a little extra. For this type of seminar, the key to making it pay off is to attract people who are good prospects for your business in the first place, rather than just filling the room.

Instead of making your seminar free, itกs a good idea to charge a small fee. That way, your prospective clients will perceive you as offering something of value. The fee will also discourage attendance by people who can’t afford your product or service. Itกs the quality of the participants that matters, not the quantity.

If what you really want is for your seminar to turn a profit, you must recognize that by offering fullfee seminars, you are adding another line of business to your company. Operating as a seminar producer will require the same kind of planning and ongoing management as your existing business does.

It can be as difficult to make a profit on your first seminar as it was to originally launch your business. Many people won’t sign up for a seminar the first time they see it; others would like to come but can’t make the date. Youกll have a better chance of making money if you plan at the outset to offer your seminar on a regular basis. You may find, though, that this takes away too much time from your core business.

Whether the seminar you are planning is promotional or for profit, estimate your projected income and expenses before making a commitment to proceed. Base the income you project solely on the fee you will charge per person multiplied by the number of attendees you expect. Don’t include any projected spinoff business in your income estimate. If you land new business, you will still have to work additional hours to earn that compensation.

Typical expenses include design and printing of a flyer or brochure, postage, posting a notice on your website, purchase of mailing lists (if you don’t have your own), print and Internet media ads (including calendar listings), facility rent, audiovisuals, handouts, and refreshments. You should also consider the cost of your own time to design promotional materials, compile lists, compose emails, and make phone calls, as noted below.

In designing a snail mail or email campaign for your seminar, keep in mind that it is quite typical to get only one registration for every 100 pieces you mail, even with a prequalified list.

Subtract your projected expenses from your income, then make a rational decision on whether to proceed. If the purpose of your seminar is to get business, estimate how much spinoff business is likely. Before going ahead, ask yourself if there might be an easier or cheaper way to get that many new clients or contracts.

If your purpose is to make money, divide your expected profit by the number of hours it will take you to design, market, and deliver your seminar. Is that amount a reasonable level of compensation for you?

If your best guess at the numbers tells you that producing a seminar makes good business sense for you, go for it! Because people do business with those they know, like, and trust, seminars can help you build a solid client base. And because repeat contacts raise awareness, mailings and ads about your seminar will generate more visibility for your core business.

The Top 10 The Top Ten Signs That Your Marketing M

The Top 10 The Top Ten Signs That Your Marketing Message Needs a Facelift

by: Bea Fields

Is your marketing plan dull, flat, and downright boring? Is it lacking the zest and appeal which can penetrate the consciousness of your buyers? If so, you may be driving away folks who could easily buy your products or services. If so, these ten signs from The 90 Day Marketing Marathon Blunders from A to Z: B is for Boring will support you in raising your awareness of what drives folks away and tips on how you can create a message which will catch fire in the market place.

1. Itกs all about you.

Folks are not interested in you and your accolades. They want to know what you can do to solve their problem of the day. Drop the focus on you, and turn the spotlight on what is important to your buyer.

2. It is filled with details and research.

People are bogged down in details and statistics. They are much more interested in buying from someone who shares their personal experiences and who is willing to build an open and honest relationship.

3. It lacks actionoriented words.

People love to buy Nike products, because the words กJust Do Itก communicate action. By using words such as run, dance, live, sing, move, or play, you will get your potential clients moving, excited about buying your product or service.

4. You have nothing new to offer.

People are bored with the same old same old. Put yourself on the bleeding edge of your profession by taking advantage of the new tools and resources which are out of the norm. (Example: In Coaching, we take advantage of modern online survey tools and blogging tools which breathe new life into our businesses.)

5. Your message drips of กneediness.ก

If your marketing message is focused on กsell, sell, sell,ก you will send the message that you are needy, which will drive customers away. Communicate your willingness to provide value, and you will develop raving fans.

6. Your message lacks กcolor.ก

An advertisement can be delivered in black and white, still have กcolor,ก and paint an amazing picture. Use powerful words which will grab the attention of your potential customers such as discover (suggests excitement), proven (sends a message of peace of mind), and savings (everyone wants more money and more time).

7. You are marketing on the surface.

People buy based on emotions. If you are selling shampoo, don’t just sell shampoo…sell beautiful hair. If you are selling heating and air units, sell comfort and warmth. If you are selling a vacation, sell a luxurious day on the beach and romantic walks under the stars.

8. It lacks your personality.

Even if you are selling widgets, folks want to know who is selling the widgets. Why? Because they want to know you can be trusted to deliver as promised. Use fun photographs and life stories so that your buyers can get a closer look at your life. The connection you will make will be unforgettable.

9. Your message lacks กadded value.ก

Studies show that people will buy if the value perceived is worth the investment. If you are charging nickels and dimes for small extras, you will quickly drive buyers away. People who กnit pickก over incidentals are often considered to be กuptightก and กinflexible.ก Yawn!!! Drop the nitpicking, and over deliver by adding extra value. Folks will love you for it!

10. You are playing กFollow the Leader.ก

People want to buy from people who are leaders. Be bold and unique in what you stand for in your business, and make this known on your website, in your brochures, and in the articles you write. You will position yourself as someone who is unique, confident, and someone who is worthy of trust.

MultiLevelMarketing: The Real Estate of the 21st

MultiLevelMarketing: The Real Estate of the 21st Century

by: Sarah King

A single event, or series of events, leads many people to the depressing conclusion that they’re not where they want to be in life. They’ve been stressed out and tired, their health has suffered, they’ve worked countless hours away from their family, yet they find themselves in mundane jobs with no scope, no recognition, living payday to payday with no further desire to succeed and no seemingly possible way out.

This realisation often leads to a period of uncertainty, frustration and fear as one searches for an opportunity that will satisfy their goals and desires, free up their time, secure their financial future and make them proud of who they are and where they’re at in life.

This article is geared towards those of you who’ve reached that point and find yourselves at a loss in terms of the next step. Perhaps you’ve already invested in a few opportunities that haven’t worked out but your determination keeps you going. If you have some long term financial goals and an unshakeable will to succeed then this article is for YOU.

Ever wish you’d had the foresight to recognise an opportunity that would set you up for a stressfree future, abundant in time and money?

Do you know that the bigger the (calculated) risk the bigger the reward yet find yourself justifying why not to take a risk?

Want more out of life but emotionally and/or financially cannot leave your 9 to 5 job?

Always thought you were meant for bigger things but never been able to find ‘that thing’?

Ever found yourself in a job and wondered quite how you got there because it ‘just wasn’t you’?

Want your own business but feel you lack the skills to get started on your own and don’t have time to study for a new career?

First thing’s first….YOU ARE NOT ALONE! There are tens of millions of people out there who are dissatisfied with their job, their financial situation and the path their life has taken. In fact, 80% of people employed in fulltime work, hate their jobs!

Whether you answered yes to one or all of the above questions, consider for a moment that MultiLevelMarketing is for you. Let’s look at the potential:

Foresight: Perhaps you lack the foresight to identify an opportunity. Many of us do. But what if someone told you that a business in MultiLevelMarketing was the way of the future, with unlimited earning potential, freedom to choose your own working hours and a lifestyle you’ve only dreamed about. Would you have the faith to believe them…or would you continue to rely on your own foresight even though it’s yet to come up with anything worthwhile, if at all? (Recommended reading: The Business School For People Who Like Helping People, Robert Kyosaki)

Risk: Many people fear risk because they lack the ability to see the potential of taking a risk. Others are fully aware that taking a risk can lead to success, yet they set limits on the level of risk they’re prepared to take, so they risk nothing at all. Whether your concern is taking a risk in the area of finances, time or your ability to succeed, MultiLevelMarketing allows you to choose your level of commitment whilst providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure that whatever risk you take, brings you the rewards you seek. MLM allows you to take calculated risks yet the RisktoReward ratio can be HUGE, so long as you have vision and determination to succeed.

Can’t leave your 9 to 5 job? The great news is, you don’t have to! Whether it’s because you can’t afford it due to finances or fear of failure, you can start your own MLM business working from home around your current schedule and not only does this allow you to maintain a level of income to which you’ve become accustomed whilst building your second income, but it also allows you to build your emotional strength and your skillset before you consider moving into your MLM business fulltime.

Meant for bigger things: Perhaps you’ve felt you were worth more than a fulltime corporate job where recognition for your hard work was passed on to those above but maybe you doubted your ability to start up your own business. Or maybe you wanted to start up your own business but didn’t quite know what you wanted to do or if you did, you lacked the capital to invest. The beauty of MLM is that it’s a marketing system used by many different types of businesses so, if MLM’s where you want to go, you need only choose a business and an industry that excites you and the potential for your future suddenly explodes!

Your current job just isn’t you: Whatever it is you dislike about your current job, whether it’s lack of people contact, too much people contact, lack of support and scope for the future, guaranteed there will be a MLM business out there to suit you that is going to give you exactly what you want

Lacking in skill and don’t want to study: The truly amazing thing about MLM, and what makes it perfect for so many people, is that you have your own Personal Mentor. This is a person who started just where you did so they’ve been there before and will have understanding and compassion for how you feel as you embark on this exciting journey. Their role is to teach you the skills necessary to run your own MLM business – skills you can acquire around your fulltime job so there’s no need to leave work in order to pursue study. Your mentor offers invaluable experience and expertise, they provide support and inspiration through both the difficult and exciting times and they ensure that you are justly rewarded for your achievements. Ultimately they can become a close and trusted friend and a business relationship built on this is destined to success.

So, if this leaves you feeling inspired and interested in looking into MLM, here are a few important things for you to remember in your search for a business:

The difference between MLM and pyramid schemes of old is that pyramid schemes are illegal and multilevelmarketing is NOT. It is important to know this when people challenge your decision to pursue a MLM business.

When investigating a MLM business, look for one that allows you to advertise. Many people won’t even consider a MLM business because they don’t want to ‘sell to their friends’ and unfortunately many MLM businesses require you to do just that, and only that, because they don’t allow business owners to advertise. Being unable to advertise also means your scope for business growth is limited.

Make sure the business resides in an industry which has massive growth potential. Whether you’re looking for a small supplemental income or a lifestyle change, investing in a growing industry means you’ll have the choice, either way.

Make sure the company is reputable and stable. Do your research and know the history of the company you’re signing into.

Be open to investigating a MLM business in much the same way you would any business opportunity. Don’t expect it to be explained to you in a 5 minute phone conversation and be willing to view an information package before you make a decision on the viability of the business.

Make sure the business system is simple and duplicable – if you want to build your business, you need to be able to teach it to others.

Offline Advertising for Online Companies

Offline Advertising for Online Companies

by: Michele Borowsky

The goal of any business should be to reach the most amount of people possible with the right message at the right time and for the right reason. Many people with online companies are missing out completely when all they do is networking, search engine optimization, and some scattered direct mail to small amounts of people.

The majority of consumable dollars, by a very wide margin, are spent offline. The majority of people are spending more than 20 hours per week watching television. The majority of people also spend more than 10 hours per week listening to the radio.

Have you ever heard of companies like eBay, Travelocity, Priceline, or Monster? Sure you have. You may think that the online environment is where you’ve heard about them. Sorry, you and everyone else are aware of these names due to offline advertising and marketing.

Even though your business is much smaller than these, you need to look into and take advantage of offline opportunities. It does not matter what category of business you are in…. you could be in network marketing, business services, giftware, or whatever. Your company can and should benefit from using offline surface exposure media.

Before embarking on any campaign, the business owner needs to know, understand, and specifically define the primary demographic group which comprises their customer profile. Without this, there cannot be an effective plan, which is a necessity for success. The fact is that less than 10% of all contacts a company makes will ever respond. So you could mail out your postcards to 100 select people and you’ll get, on average, less than 10 responses. So how about reaching 150,000 people each week with a radio flight? Or over 400,000 people with an ad in a major daily newspaper.

Think about it. The opportunities are endless and the business potential is limitless. You need to make that commitment to grow your company. Offline advertising for online companies needs to be considered by you and all others in online business. The possibilities are there for the taking.

Email Etiquette

Email Etiquette

by: Rose DesRochers

Today we are going to discuss one of my pet peeves, and learn about email etiquette. Those who don’t BCC send, an email nightmare. When you send your friends an email showing all email in the to: or CC line and those people forward that email to their address book of friends, suddenly 500 people now have your friends email addresses.

These email addresses remain in the email, because most people don’t do their part to edit them out. So when you forward an email that has 200 emails in the two field and your friend forwards it on to 300 of their friends. You now have an email with 500 emails.

Today I received just that email and I was able to harvest 500 email addresses from that one email that was carelessly sent by a friend of mine. So now 500 people I didn’t know had my email address. Ever wonder why you receive so much spam, adds to enlarge your penis or adds saying you have been approved for a mortgage? This is one reason. I do not believe for one moment that you would hand out your friends home address or phone number to people that you don’t know? The same consideration should really be taken into thought when sending out email.

You have the resources right there at your finger tip to protect your friends and family from spammers, stalkers, etc. So please use the BCC, instead of To or CC when sending group emails. Don’t ever give out another personกs email address without their permission.

Like I said above an email address should be treated just as a phone number or home address is treated.

So how does on BCC send. I have collected a few resources to help you.

How to BCC send in Yahoo http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/send/send01.html

How to BCC send in hotmail

Example:

If you were to enter these email addresses:

How to BCC in MSN Explorer

To add Bcc: recipients to a message in MSN Explorer:

• Click on More on the Write Email screen.

• Select Show Bcc:

Then use the Bcc: field like the To: field.

I hope this article was of some help. Now please do your part in helping spam stay out of my inbox, as well as your friends and family inbox by BCC sending.

How To Find The Top Keywords Relating To Your Them

How To Find The Top Keywords Relating To Your Theme

by: Jeff Schuman

Have you ever wondered what people are searching for online? More specifically have you ever wondered what people are searching for as it relates to the theme of your website?

Letกs say you have a website built around the theme of music downloads. Here are 2 easy ways to get a list of keywords you can use to build your home page and then build more pages around each specific word.

1. Do a search by typing in music downloads here:

http://www.pixelfast.com/overture

As of November 2004 the keyword phraseก music downloads was searched 1,068,310 times. We can also see that กfree music downloadsก was searched 1,169,992 times.

As you look down the list you will find all kinds of combinations of keyword phrases with the words กmusic downloadsก included in them.

You can build specifc web pages centered around each keyword phrase. You will find that lesser searched keywords have less competition and therefore will be easier for you to make it to the top of a search engine and generate free traffic.

For example the keyword phrase ก free mp3 music downloadก was searched 22,360 times. This would be a great keyword phrase to target in comparison to the more generic phrase กmusic downloads.ก

2. Take a look at what people are willing to pay for a keyword here:

5 Compelling Reasons to Choose a Wellness Opportun

5 Compelling Reasons to Choose a Wellness Opportunity

by: Priya Florence Shah

I actually have two separate online businesses

Selling wellness products and

Selling digital information products (eBooks)

Because I can look at things from both perspectives, I often tend to compare the two businesses from the point of view of the better opportunity.

But if I were asked to recommend a single business as the best way to make a living online, the Wellness Business would win hands down.

And no, I didn’t choose it because its easy. On the contrary, selling health supplements, vitamins and related products online is NOT easy.

Not only is there tremendous competition, but it simply can’t be done by working two hours a day, as is the common perception.

If you sell wellness products, you have to deal with REAL people. People with human needs and problems.

You must be available in person, or by phone, or at least by email, to clarify doubts, answer queries, be prompt and sensitive to your customersก needs and generally make your customer feel good about doing business with you.

You must also provide constant support, training and leadership to a growing organisation of distributors, and help them grow their business.

This can be extremely timeconsuming because few of these tasks lend themselves to complete automation.

A seller of digital products has it somewhat easier. (S)He need not even interact with customers, because everything from product delivery to answering customer queries can run on autopilot.

Digital product sellers can (and often are) literally sitting on a beach while their websites churn out profits.

Given these disadvantages, why would anyone still choose the Wellness industry?

The reason I believe is because ANYONE, regardless of their talent or creativity, can actually make a steady LIVING for a lifetime in the Wellness industry.

And of course, there are a few who even go on to become millionaires.

Here are the reasons why I think Health and Wellness should be the #1 Choice for Entrepreneurs online.

1. Health Products Fulfill a Basic Human Need

Health is a #1 concern for many people often more important than even sex (also a top seller online) or food.

The lack of health can make you feel… well… lousy. And most people will pay their bottom dollar if they can find something that alleviates their pain or discomfort.

To put it more plainly, NOT buying an eBook will not make much difference to your state of mind or body. But not taking your prescription medication can make you feel very bad indeed.

2. Health Products are Consumable

Unlike digital products that can only be sold ONCE to a customer, vitamins, supplements and prescriptions require monthly reorders or autoships.

Once people start using them and benefiting, more often than not, they will continue to use them.

If you treat your customers right, they will buy from you month after month, providing you with regular commissions and a more or less stable source of income.

Thereกs usually no need to keep selling to them again and again (barring the obligatory seasonal promotions).

If the products meet their requirements and you give them a good deal and great service, they will give you repeat business for a long time to come.

3. Your Income Grows Exponentially

When selling a digital product (as an owner or an affiliate), your potential for future income actually DECREASES with every sale you make.

Unless you are among the few top marketers who can churn out a new product every month, or can earn more on backend commissions, your potential for income will always be limited by your creativity.

In contrast, because most wellness opportunities also involve building an organisation, every product sale actually INCREASES your potential for future income, by growing your organisation of customers and potential distributors purchasing every month.

If you help your downline earn a regular income, few will quit the business they have built so earnestly. Again YOU benefit from the RESIDUAL commissions that the organisation provides.

4. Wellness Opportunities have a High FeelGood Factor

One of the main reasons that I suspect people stick around in the wellness industry is the feelgood factor. It can really make your day when someone calls or writes, telling you how wonderful your products made them feel. Or how it gave them their life back. 🙂

Even more than making money, the feeling that you have helped another person feel better is always a strong motivator in working your business.

Iกve no doubt it feels good when someone who purchased your eBook writes to tell you how it helped them succeed. But I can bet it comes nowhere near the feeling you get when you help someone beat a lifethreatening illness or conquer their pain.

5. The Need for Wellness Only Increases with Age

As we grow older, we want to work less and enjoy life more. We also want to live healthier lives and enjoy enhanced community interaction.

Wellness opportunities are ideally suited to seniors because they have the potential to fulfill all their needs, ranging from financial security to improved health and personal interaction.

Lastly, working a wellness opportunity empowers you to take steps to improve your own health and wellbeing.

And do I even need to reiterate the oftrepeated quote that it will be the next Trillion Dollar Industry?

Targeted Traffic is More Important than Ever!

Targeted Traffic is More Important than Ever!

by: John Alexander

In the early days of web development, business owners had learned the very expensive lesson that a Web site with no visitors is of little value. Once the business owner learned that methods could be utilized to increase their visibility through search engine optimization, it then became apparent that the traffic that really benefited them, was ‘targeted traffic.ก It only made sense that if you were selling a solution, the person who will buy the solution are the ones experiencing a problem or challenge. It also became obvious that the best products and services to sell online were niche or specialized markets. Large volumes of กgeneral visitorsก (general volume traffic) may have looked nice on a statistics report but only the truly ‘targeted visitorsก (target traffic) were usually the visitors making purchases or doing business at the Web site.
While some search engine marketers were simply offering placement for keywords chosen by their client, other SEOกs realized the value of researching keyword phrases and built strategies that were focused on attracting a specific target market. This is why you would sometimes hear conflicting stories about the effectiveness of search engine marketing. People often had their sites optimized for the wrong phrases. These might be keyword phrases that attracted no traffic all or perhaps even keywords that attracted high traffic but the wrong audience. If targeted traffic was important for success back then, it is absolutely essential that we optimize for targeted traffic now. The reason is that as the web continues to age, peoples behaviour appears to be shifting again.
Plan for the current shift in online visitor behavior
The early online consumer compared to todayกs average user was thriving on search engine use most of the time. Theyกd search out one site then search out another site and literally travel all over the place half of the time, unsure what they were even looking for. Back then people กsurfed the netก but todays online consumer is not surfing as much. Todayกs online consumer is becoming educated much more quickly and a whole new trend of online branding is becoming more increasingly important according to a recent survey.
Volume traffic of any importance is decreasing.
A Californiabased research company (Websidestory) that measures Internet audiences, recently stated on Feb. 6 that กnearly 52 percent of Web surfers arrived at sites by direct navigation and bookmarks, compared with about 46 percent during the same period last year.ก Even compared to just last year, clearly more people KNOW where they want to go and are directly entering the web address into the browser.
What does this mean ? To me, it is a great indicator that people who have been online for a while, are developing business relationships. People just donกr need to กsurfก as much because once customers start doing business online and they like the service, why should they change? If they are happy buying a product from www.barnesandnoble.com, are they not likely to go back and just type in the web address or use a bookmark? As the web continues to mature, watch and see if a whole new wave of branding does not become of major importance on the Web of the future. Businesses who have chosen domain names that are easy to remember and have some branding built in, may see some significant increase.
Advantages for Search Engine Optimizers
The latest trends in Web behavior spell opportunity for some search engine marketers. These will be those SEOกs who realize that targeted traffic are now (and really have always been) the only way to go. Someone recently asked me if I thought a decline in the use of search engines was bad news for the search engine optimization industry. I believe there will always be a need for good search engines. More and more, people will remember their favorite URL but this means that top placement and accurate relevancy will also be needed more than ever before. People searching the net don’t care so much for paid ads, they want relevant search results. This is not to say that bid for placement search engines don’t have some advantages, because they do.
SEOs who are going only after old fashioned, nontargeted general กvolume trafficก (just big numbers with no target audience), things are about to become much quieter, as more online consumers KNOW where they want to go.
However, for those SEO professionals who really know their craft, the ‘targeted traffic strategyก can still render pure gold to the Web site owner and these are the times when top relevancy mixed with a targeted strategy should place those search engine marketers in the know, in even higher demand. High and accurate search engine relevancy for any online business Web site, counts more than it ever has before.

Five and a Half Ways to Amp Up Your Search EngineO

Five and a Half Ways to Amp Up Your Search EngineOptimization

by: Dave Carlson

Statistics show that 85% of pages visited on the Internet come from people who have gotten there from a search engine. Statistically, people look first at the top of the first page of the regular search results, then the bottom, and then they go to the sponsored listings.

There is an art and science to being ranked highly on the search engines. The science is formatting the pages with the right meta tags and submitting them in the right way to the search engines. The art is to make the site look and read normal in spite of filling it with key words.

Here are five and a half ways to get a higher ranking and more visitors:

1. Pick the right Key Words and Phrases

These are the words and phrases that people will put into search engines to try to find your product, business or organization. Having good key words and phrases is foundational to have good optimization. This takes research using such tools at Wordtracker and Overture’s Keyword Suggestion Tool. They give you a good idea of what people are searching for and what you should focus on.

2. Use Good Header Tags

Header tags are hidden in the code within your Web page. The most important one is the ‘titleก tag, which isn’t considered a META tag. It tells what’s within your page and it’s important to have your keyphrases in it. It is also good to have keyphrases in your กdescriptionก META tag, though it doesn’t rank nearly as high as the ‘titleก tag.

3. Use Keyphrases in Your Visible Page Title

Provide a unique title to each page on your site that is chock full of key words and phrases. Search engines like this because it means that there is a higher probability that your site is a good match for what people are looking for. This is should be placed within the H1 tag (top heading) of your page and is visible to the visitor. It also pays to have your keyphrases in subtitles on the page.

4. Provide Plenty of Content on Your Site

Shoot to have at least 450 characters on your page. Concentrate on putting key words and phrases in the first paragraph and last paragraphs.

5. Secure a Lot of Related Incoming Links

The more sites linked to your site, the higher you will be ranked by the search engines. These links can be from strategic partners, vendors, directories or other types of sites with whom you exchange links.

If you are a web site developer, put in your contract that you are going to put a developer’s link at the bottom of the site, such as, กWeb site design by Green Chair Marketing Group,ก with an active link to your site. This will help your site grow in its link popularity.

5.5 Keep Optimizing Your Site

The more content on your site, the better. I suggest adding a couple pages a month, whether it’s case studies, more product information, testimonials, articles, press releases, etc. If you add just five new pages a month, you will have 60 new pages by the end of the year, and over 100 pages by the end of the second year.

You are bound to catch some people you would have missed because there is more content to choose from. And your site will be more highly ranked by Google, because they highly weigh sites that have more content.

While you’re at it, continue to get relevant links coming into your site. Google loves incoming links. And you might have people click through to your site from these other places.

If you don’t have time to work on the optimization or would feel more comfortable having someone else do it, consider strongly hiring a professional to do your search engine optimization. That way you can focus your energies on sales or creating more and better product.

One caveat, I would stay away from companies that initiate contact with you through emails or phone calls. They often use techniques that can get your severely penalized by the search engines. Ask people you know who have been successful in their search engine positioning who they use.
