How to Sell Your Product on the Forums?

How to Sell Your Product on the Forums?

by: Radhika Venkata

1. Your signature file:

Most of the forums allow you to carry a 4 6 lines of signature files with your name. So these files appears below your name when you answer a forum thread.

Most people advertise about their product. Don’t do that. Always offer some free ecourse or trial product. Personally I prefer to offer free ecourse than an ezine because, we feel that we gain more in short course of 7 days rather than a chain of endless ezines.

Second you can offer free product or free trial software or free membership.

Always hyperlink the email or web page link, so simple click will take the reader to the destination page.

2. Use the section กSpecial offers to Forum Membersก Forum:

You may see a seperate forum like กSpecial discount to Forum membersก. Here you can advertise your product or offer special discounts to forum members.

Tips while posting in these type of forums

Add an image of your product.

Use the html code to highlight the benefits.

Hyperlink the web page or product link.

State your discount in bold letters.

3. Seek partners for joint ventures:

Choose a forum appropriate for your product or business. For example if you are selling reseller hosting service then choose web designers forums.

Most web designers prefer to host their clients on own servers, so there will be more chances for you to get partners here.

Tips on seeking joint ventures

Let your partner get equal benefits from your proposal.

Be polite in asking partnership.

Leave the selection or decision making to the person whom you are going to ask a joint venture.

1 or 2 emails. If you didn’t get any response, no more emails. May be he/she doesn’t like these type of ventures.

4. Banner advertising or sponsoring:

Some forums sell advertising space and look for sponsors to sponsor the forum categories. If you want to act as a sponsor, you pay them like monthly or yearly and they put your web site or product link on the forum index, at the sub forum you choose.

This sponsoring is very cost effective way of advertising than banner advertising.

For example, you are selling search engine ebook. You can sponsor the sub forum กSearch engine promotionก in the list of forums. Your ebook link will be placed on that category of forums.

How To Find Your Perfect MLM Sponsor In 3 Easy Ste

How To Find Your Perfect MLM Sponsor In 3 Easy Steps Without Going Completely Insane

by: John Stafford

If youกve never had the experience you’re very lucky….

You just joined a great new MLM company and are excited and ready to go, you email your sponsor to find out whatกs next.

Days pass…

No response.

You try again but still nothing.

So, how do you avoid this terrible fate?

Iกm glad you asked, here are the 3 ways you can use to find your perfect MLM sponsor:

1. Find out if heกs active

Nothing drives me crazier then joining a company and finding out my sponsor isn’t doing anything to work the business.

If the company has a scoreboard or ranking site, see if heกs on it. Check out his websites in Google and see how they’re set up.

The important thing is to make sure heกs making an effort 🙂

2. Email or Call him

Take a minute กbeforeก you join up to email or call him with questions.

Ask him whatever you like and see if he responds.

Don’t think you’re bothering your prospective mentor, if heกs the right person he won’t mind.

3. Find out how long heกs been with the company

Another thing youกll run into is finding a sponsor thatกs been with the company a week and has no clue.

Now don’t get me wrong, itกs okay to be new but the กblind leading the blindก isn’t going to help anyone.

When you’re sending him the email from step 2 just ask him how long heกs been with the company and see what happens.

*Remember*

The relationship you’re forming will be lasting a really long time, you want to be sure heกs the right person to help you build your team.

Follow these steps and soon youกll find a sponsor you’re happy with that will help you take your new MLM business to the next level.

Building Downlines and Keeping Them

Building Downlines and Keeping Them

by: AnnaMarie Stewart Venton

You know the scenario: You join some program, work your butt off to promote it, to get signups, and you feel like you`re hitting a brick wall. After a few months, you give up, and try something else, or give up completely.

Know what`s missing? Active, helpful sponsors/uplines. Have you ever tried mailing your upline, only to get NO response? It`s a horrible feeling. Makes you think กWhy should I bother trying to help this guy make some money??ก

Been in this situation? Or maybe you`re guilty of being this type of sponsor? Either way, you need to read this:

I try to actively help anybody who signs up under me, no matter what. I always have done, and in 4 years of marketing, I still have mostly the same loyal people following me into any program I show them.

Doesn`t matter if the program turns out to be a flop, or the best thing on earth. Those people are with me all the way, and they are fantastic!

I try to promote their pages/programs, pass on signups to them etc. and at the risk of sounding bigheaded: They love me for it! This is why, even if a program flops, they follow me on to the next one, because they KNOW I`ll help as much as I can.

Mail your upline if you need help with anything, let them know you`re struggling. Ask for what you want. Believe me, it works wonders, and people aren`t mind readers.

If you don`t ASK for help, most will assume that you`re doing just fine. If you don`t get any support from your sponsor, go higher, even as high as the program owner if you have to.

I am pseudoblonde with techie stuff, asked a friend to help with building my ezine (he`s a programmer) and VOILA! website all built. So I am living proof: It DOES help to ask.

Do NOT be a กdeadก sponsor. Keep in touch with your signups regularly. Offer your help in any way you can, offer to exchange hints, tips and info with them.

Search the net for some good ebooks that may be helpful to them, and pass them on. Free ones are best for this purpose. (Just make sure you read the books yourself first, so you know they`re not rubbish)

Got some software you use, that you find helpful? Pass it on to those below you. Anything that you`ve ever found helpful, pass on. Just remember to never, ever, ever spam your downlines with other stuff.

Send a mail maybe twice per month, offering your help. Make sure you give them multiple ways of contacting you, email, msn, yahoo messenger just to name a few, and ALWAYS make time for them.

If somebody asks you a question you can`t answer, you know what to do, right? Ask YOUR upline, don`t allow them to be slackers. After all, they want YOU to help THEM make some money too, so ask them to help you if you need it!

Bottom line: Never be afraid to ask for, or offer to, help. Works for me, and most of the people in my downlines now practice the same. Now get out there and help each other, it WILL pay off 🙂

Network Marketing Doกs and Don’ts

Network Marketing Doกs and Don’ts

by: Mike Law

Why did you become a network marketer? Most people immediately respond, ขfor the money!ข However, this is not the real reason.

No one subjects them to the hard work of building a business just for little pieces of paper with the faces of dead presidents. The truth is you work in order to obtain what those little pieces of paper can bring you.

The first thing you need to do is to find the reason WHY you are a network marketer. Is it the freedom to choose whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it? Maybe you are looking for a different lifestyle. If there is one thing that is critical to your network marketing success, this is it. If you don’t have a reason, there is no motivation to succeed.

A network marketing business is a teaching and coaching business. If you don’t like interaction with other people, a network marketing business probably is not for you. There’s a concept that most network marketers just can’t seem to get a handle on. You do not sponsor ขreps,ข you sponsor ขpeople!ข

If you have to find a reason why you are building your business, then doesn’t it stand to reason that other people will have to do the same thing? If that’s the case, then why is it that network marketers continually focus on how much money your prospect can earn?

There’s no way you are going to convince ขJoe Sixpack,ข to get out of his Lazyboy recliner unless you find out what his motivation is. Most network marketers literally pound in the amount of money Joe can earn. They bombard him with message after message about how ขSuccessful Samข has just purchased his 10th Porsche, refurnished his 25,000 square foot cottage and promise Joe that he can do the same!

Just how realistic is this approach? Joe isn’t stupid. He works long, hard hours at his job in order to provide for his family and truly believes that the best thing he can hope for is saving enough money by summer to pay for a camping trip. Then here you come, promising Joe that he can have everything that Sam has and he can have it if he will just sign that piece of paper making you his sponsor!

You will probably sponsor a few people that way, but if you are in business for the long haul you need to change your approach and do it fast.

The proper approach is so simple, but in your rush to sponsor another ขrepข instead of helping another person, all too often you talk yourself into and straight out of sponsoring the Joes of the world.

God gave you two ears and one mouth and he did it for a reason. We are supposed to ขlistenข twice as much as we ขspeak.ข

Instead of pouncing on Joe with the latest and greatest network marketing program of all time, find out what Joe wants and needs. Ask him questions, lots of questions. In fact, in your first meeting with Joe, don’t even mention your business! Yes, that’s what I said. Don’t even bring it up. Remove yourself from the super duper network marketing persona and spend time making a new friend.

OK; They Built My Downline. Now What?

OK; They Built My Downline. Now What?

by: Richard Killey

Iกve seen a huge increase in ads relating to Network Marketing Companies where your sponsor promises to build your downline. I am sure that some of them are on the shady side. Thatกs the way it is. However, I have personally seen some very respectable companies which allow the technique.

First: a bit of history.

Traditional Network Marketing Companies have used the term ‘tap rootก for years. It refers to your best downline leg. Often, your sponsor will help you build this leg. It is called a tap root since it is supposed to anchor your business; hopefully supplying the nutrients (cash) needed to break even. In the meantime, you take the knowledge you are gaining by watching the work that is being done on your tap root, and establish additional legs. The additional legs provide the excess cash you want in order to improve your lifestyle.

Next: the Internet. How has this tap root idea been applied?

Commonly, you sign up for a program. You are placed at the bottom of one of your sponsorกs legs. Additional prospecting by your sponsor and/or their upline places people under you. In most cases you do not even know the people being placed under you. However, as these new people buy products from the company, you get a bonus cheque. กGreat! Iกm getting rich and all Iกm doing is buying product and watching my upline add more people!ก

Not so fast. Study the compensation plan. Do the calculations. You will probably find out that you max out at a bonus that is less than the cost of your required minimum purchase. You are at best getting a quality product at a discount. Big deal.

กWell then, how do I get rich?ก

Itกs no different than the traditional model. You have to start new lines, or legs. Yes, YOU. If you have a good sponsor, they will help you here as well. They may use your ID in some of their ads in order to give you a quick start. Same as it has always been. If they get you excited and do a good job of teaching you, you will eventually go solo. Then your sponsor can cut you loose and move on to another prospect. They have created some residual income. That is the goal, right? Residual Income.

Now, one problem remains. How do you get those prospects that you require? Cold calling? Your warm market? Ads on Yahoo? Ads on Google or Overture? Ads in ezines? Thatกs another article!

I want to leave you with one other fact to ponder.

If you spend $6,000 promoting a web site and your opportunity, and you succeed in developing a basic $300 a month residual income, what is your return on investment (ROI )?

Well, that $300 a month is (300×12) $3,600 a year. That works out to a simple interest rate of 100×3600/6000 = 60%.

How many of you have an investment that returns 60% ?

Have a great future,

Richard

What My Worthless Sponsor Didn’t Tell Me…

What My Worthless Sponsor Didn’t Tell Me…

by: Glen Palo

…that he would not be around to help me build my network marketing business.
How many distributors have you known or know that have quit because they thought they were abandoned after joining their program? Are you one of those as well?
So, what is the solution to a worthless sponsor?
There is no perfect company or sponsor. All companies have unique sets of problems or challenges. Their product may be superior but the compensation plan is not perfect. Or their compensation plan is the best, but the training program is not so good. Hopefully, while doing your research and homework when selecting the company to join, you are picking the company with challenges with which you can live. The issue is picking the right company you feel most comfortable.
The same thing applies to your sponsor. But what your sponsor does or does not do has no bearing on whether or not you are successful with your business.
Beyond that, what is required is a realization or understanding of what business or environmental factors are totally within your control.
A simple life maxim is worry about those things you can control. Everything else is unimportant. The same thing is true in business.
As a network marketer, you have no control over:

the weather
politicians in Washington DC
what your worthless sponsor does
what your downline members do
what McDonaldกs charges for a Big Mac
who wins the Super Bowl or World Series
what your competition does

As a network marketer, you have control over:

the number of opportunity meetings you attend
the number of selfimprovement and sales books you read
the number of people you contact
what time you get up in the morning
what you eat for lunch
your leadership skills
your commitment to learn

The key to success is to determine whether you can obtain the skills and resources to sell products and sponsor more people committed to learning. And if you have the burning desire to make a change in your life, then there should be no roadblocks to prevent you from getting what you need. It has been said that the fundamental to success is "learn, teach and teach to teach." With a commitment to learn, youกve taken the first step.
Take a look at the successful people within your company. The successful networker has learned about the company and product, the necessary activities to succeed and the process of repeating the required steps. This is done through reading company product literature, attending meetings and contacting people. Attending meetings and reading company literature reinforces the distributors learning. Contacting people reinforces product and company knowledge. This is knowledge that the prospective client does not possess. The exchange of knowledge between you and the prospective client ultimately leads to the exchange of money for product.
These are the things that your worthless sponsor cannot do for you.

Build Downlines, Make Money.

Build Downlines, Make Money.
