How to start a home business.

How to start a home business.

by: Patric Chan

Do you know that it’s possible for a housewife or a ‘onemanshow’ around the world to start a home business for full time income?

It’s possible. And Iกm going to tell you what you need and how to do it.

First you need to get an extra phone line, fax and a computer in your home. This should be different from your existing home phone line or computer. That was easy to get started, wasn’t it?

The secret to start a home business quick and profitable is to be a ‘middle man’ between the prospects and the products or services they are looking for. It’s that simple! Of course you can create your own products or services to sell, but why go through the hassle in the early stages of getting started? By being the ‘middle man’, you can get started immediately.

Then, you have to determine whether you want to be a ‘middle man’ for a product or service oriented business. Both will give you the same benefits. Even if it’s product oriented, you are not be producing it. You are just merely getting it from someone and passing it to the customer. Therefore, you should not have any inventory. However, I’ll prefer to be involved in service oriented home business because it’s less ‘sticky’. Products may have more issues such as delivery, order fulfillment, product return and so on.

Here are 3 ways you can immediately start a home business by being a ‘middle man’ for a service oriented home business:

1. Human Resource ‘Department’

Do you know that many companies are hiring and many people are looking for a job? This is one of the best opportunities that you can get started immediately. It’s low cost, almost zero in cost. Go to all the offices and factories in your city and tell the human resource manager/department that you want to help them find reliable staff. They will have a list of vacancies. Get all the details. Compile it and start announcing to the public what vacancies you have to offer! You can make money from either the company or anyone who gets a job from your help. You decide how much commission you want. If the company already has their own commission scheme, you can just earn from there.

2. Real Estate

Youกd be surprised that many people are actually buying houses each day. And many people are selling houses as well! Don’t believe me? Go to your local real estate dealer’s office and youกll see there are plenty of requests from people wanting to buy or sell houses. You can just be a ‘middle man’ to get the deal. In fact, all real estate agents are ‘middle men’ in reality. You can just tie up with a few real estate agents and negotiate for a commission from them if you help them to get the houses their customers are looking for, or to help their customers to sell off their house.

A few deals a month will land you in big commission checks because houses price can vary from $50,000.00 to $5,000,000.00! However, you do want to set a certain criteria of amount that you will not participate. Example, you might not do any deals below $25,000.00 (or whatever figure you choose) because youกll need to put in the same effort and yet the return is too minimal.

3. Seminar business

Do you see seminars conducted in your city or state? It can be any type of seminars. Doesn’t matter what seminar it is. Pick up your phone and call the seminar organizers. Tell them youกll find participants to fit in their room and ask them how much commission they are willing to pay you per head. If the company is smart, theyกll pay you good commission because they no longer need to invest their money in advertising. And secondly, they cannot lose because they are paying you for results only.

Once you have experience of it, you may even consider engaging your own speaker one day and organize it. This can be your quarter year project for quick, instant cash.

There are so many other ways to start a successful home business. Iกve not even covered on how to start a home business by using the internet (If you want to learn that, go get a copy of ‘5Step System To Make Money Online VCD Package at http://www.sellingonlinesecrets.com ).

So don’t give excuses for yourself that it’s too much work, you need a lot of money to get started, and so on. Those are all excuses you create for yourself because of unconscious fear of failure. Or your own limiting beliefs.

It’s your life. It’s your decision. Sit on it, and there is no way you can expect to start a home business. Start it today, and maybe youกll start making money in a few months and generate a full time income in a year or 6 months.

All the best.

An Opportunity Called Home Business

An Opportunity Called Home Business

by: Arun Pal Singh

Opportunity has strange ways of presentation. While you may search heavily for it everywhere, it will stand there silently, waiting to be found. It will not knock your door or pat on your back to grab your attention.

It will stand there; appear in disguise waiting for you to recognize it and lift the veil from its face. It demands action from you, yet it won’t give the slightest hint of its existence. Why?

A man who seeks opportunity will eventually find one. When, how and where entirely depends on the sharpness of the seeker. Opportunities are already there. If we are not conscious, we don’t see one. Only when we start becoming conscious , we start finding one.

Recently a friend of mine critically asked me ขIf home business on the net can bring so much wealth and freedom to oneself how come everybody is not sitting at home and earningข.

He was trying to negate that money can be earned by online business. I tried to explain him about online earning but he was not ready to accept the reason.

ขI think that is wastage of time.ข He completely rejected me.

He was not conscious of the fact and he could not be subjected to reason.

Well! Then home business is not for him.

First step to find an opportunity is to believe that it exists. One must accept that it is there. Then one must become conscious of home business’ money earning potential.

When you become conscious of something you start noticing that in abundance. If you are not conscious of something you can’t see that even surrounding are full of it.

That is law of nature.

Nature has designed things in this fashion to avoid the revelation to the unprepared and thus unworthy.

The opportunity can only be used by able. One who can recognize the opportunity and acts to tap it is an able man. Other kinds either will not find the chance or let it pass without utilization.

Home business on the net has produced millionaires. Countless people started with limited resources and now earn unlimited wealth. What did they do?

They recognized an opportunity and took action. They had eyes for the opportunity and audacity for taking an action. That is what makes them stand apart in addition to the wealth they have made.

They were able.

Taking an action is second step for tapping the opportunity. Action taking is must if you want to get yields from opportunity. Otherwise the opportunity is as good as no opportunity.

Opportunity for home based business would always remain. With internet expanding at such a fast pace, potential of home business is much more than ever.

But only those seek with conviction and vision would find one.

Moreover, only those who are courageous enough to take action would find their way to enormous wealth.

People who lack conviction, courage or both will not find any wealth in the home business or for that matter anything.

How Web Masters Can Start a Home Based Business Us

How Web Masters Can Start a Home Based Business Using Credit Cards

by: Claire Bowes

If you’re a webmaster who has been itching to start a home based business and you are experiencing some cash flow problems and are considering leaving your dreams by the wayside, don’t. Credit cards may be your answer. Now before you start feeling guilty about using your credit cards for some much needed cash flow and before you antagonize over this issue because of ขdebtข, let me assure you that credit cards ( http://www.thecreditcardcentre.co.uk/bestcreditcards.html ) may be your key to success when you use them wisely.

This isn’t to say that you should go out and run up your cards up to the limit simply because they are there. Instead, we’re saying that credit cards are not all bad, credit card companies aren’t the devil and if you use your cards smartly then they can help jump start your fledging business’ finances or get you out of a cash crunch. However, the key is to learn how to use credit cards to your advantage and not your disadvantage. With this in mind, we have provided you with the top five tips that will help you use your credit cards wisely:

First and foremost, you should realize that carrying cards have some advantages. Here are some major ones that you should be aware of:

Credit allows you to buy needed supplies instantly instead of waiting until later;

You can spread out the cost of expensive equipment like software and computers;

You can learn to cleverly float cards and get months of interest free loans if you choose the right card and use it correctly;

When you use cards, your purchases are insured;

Credit cards allow you to keep track of miscellaneous purchases and expenses;

You can earn points and other rewards simply for using the card;

Credit cards help you budget your money. You get a single limit and once that is exceeded then you will be declined so you’ll be encouraged to keep track of how much limit you have.

Second, you have to find a card that has a great rate and/or the best benefits for you. For instance, if you will pay off the balance every month but travel a lot then you might want to consider a card with a higher interest rate that gives more frequent flier miles since you will not be affected by the interest rate when you can’t pay off the credit card balance every month. On the other hand, if you can’t pay your balance every month, you should consider the card with a lower interest rate.

Once you’ve found an appropriate card, you should make a commitment to pay your balance responsibly. That is, you should only charge the amount that you can realistically pay in a month or so and make a point not to rack up a ton of credit card debt.

You should really try and avoid using your credit card to get cash advances. This is because most companies charge cash advance fees which could hurt you. However, an exception to this would be if you have an emergency and need to handle a cash crunch then you should use the least amount possible.

Review your statements as soon as you get them to evaluate interest rates. Make sure that you don’t see any errors and if you do then report them right away.

In conclusion, you shouldn’t feel guilty about using your credit cards to help you start or finance your fledging web business. Instead, you should use the abovementioned tips and use your cards responsibly so that they continue to be a blessing when you need them!

Starting a Home Business on a Budget

Starting a Home Business on a Budget

by: Suzanne Morrison

Have you ever dreamed of starting your own business? Have you wondered what it would be like to get up every morning and be in control of your financial destiny without having to depend on a job? Perhaps you enjoy your job and you simply want to start a parttime business from home to supplement your income but the problem is you have very little extra money to invest in a new venture.

If this is your dream then now is the time. Never before in history has there been a better time to start a home business and this is especially true for those on a limited budget. Why is this so? The answer is simple. The World Wide Web. The Internet has enabled hundreds of thousands of people to start home businesses working from home with very little start up cash. It is now possible for individuals working from home in their pajamas to start businesses and compete in the global marketplace on the same playing field as large corporations. Anyone with a service or something to sell can build a website and using the available and often free tools on the Internet be in business almost instantly.

Setting up an Internet home business usually has much lower start up costs than the traditional brick and mortar alternative. With a traditional business there are significant overhead expenses which are usually due even before you can start making money. These expenses include: rent for office or store space, inventory to stock your store if you are planning to sell retail products, advertising, liability insurance, and the list goes on. In fact it can costs thousands

Starting an internet business has much lower start up costs because your store is in cyberspace and your office is in your home. You can find numerous low costs options for building websites online as well as suppliers who will ship your products to your customers as they are purchased instead of storing huge amounts of products which is expensive and takes up storage space

One of the best ways to get started on a low budget is by selling products on eBay. Millions of people are shopping on eBay every single day looking for just about every kind of product you can imagine. One of the reasons eBay is such a great place to start a home business on a budget is because the traffic is already there. Ebay has already done the advertising and all you need to do is show up and post your products. If you were to build your own website you would need to market your site and buyers would need to find it before they could buy from you. Secondly, eBay has taken the expense and difficulty out of building an Internet store. For a low monthly fee you can build an Internet store on eBay complete with your own logo and a shopping cart system. This is actually very similar to setting up shop in a mall in the brick and mortar world.

Another low cost way to make money on the Internet is through affiliate programs. Affiliate programs allow you to make money by placing links on your site to other websites and each time someone clicks through to the website you are an affiliate for you make money. If you have a website this is one of the easiest ways to add revenue to your current income. Many Internet retailers have affiliate programs.

There are many other opportunities on the Internet for starting your own home business. It is recommended that you take some time to research the various options but be careful of scams. If you do an Internet search on topics such as ขhome businessข or ขwork at homeข you are likely to find a lot of good information but you will also find many scams that promise riches only to take your money and leave you with nothing to show for it. The best tip for avoiding scams on the Internet is the old saying, ขIf it sounds too good to be true – it probably is.ข

Whatever type of business you decide to start on the Internet it is important that you treat your business like a business. Above all, find something that interests you and that you will be passionate about and you can be successful beyond your wildest dreams.

Self Employment In The Age Of The Computer

Self Employment In The Age Of The Computer

by: Richard Moore

SelfEmployment in the Age of the Computer, or: Using the computer to create your own income.

I believe that there is a huge market that is not widely recognized but, available right now for people to create their own careers. I approached Human Resources, E.I., and Canada Manpower in Canada, and Government Unemployment and Employment agencies about advertising this particular avenue of selfemployment, but they will have nothing to do with it.

It seems odd to me that with the number of people out of work that these government agencies (supposedly geared to helping people find new careers) will only deal with employers that deduct taxes from an employeeกs wage, and will not work with employers that pay by commission or allow their employees the benefits of claiming selfemployment. I feel that someone has to inform people in need of help that there are alternatives out there.

My name is Richard Moore. I own and operate an online business aimed at and designed to teach people how to start, build, run, maintain, advertise, manage, and market an online business. I see a trend towards more and more people getting away from having to go out of their homes to work or have a career. I predict that within 20 years, close to half of the working population will be working from their own homes.

O.K, I am not a psychic but I definitely talk to more and more people every day who have made this transition or are thinking about doing it. I have talked to employers who have realized the benefits of allowing their employees or associates to work from the comfort of their own homes, or are considering doing this. They tell me that in most cases they get better productivity and have people stay with them longer by letting them work from home. There is a very high turn around of employees these days, more than we have ever seen before. There are many factors to consider when dealing with this high turnover problem.

*It costs employers extremely high amounts of money to have an employee work in a building that is owned or leased and have them spend 8 hours a day there doing their job.

*Consider the overhead. Mortgages, utilities, taxes etc. All of which are higher than ever before. Everything costs more, but we bring home less money. Even if you rent or lease an office, store, or building of any type for your business, rents are constantly increasing. Then you have all the other expenses; benefits (if you offer them), advertising, packaging, shipping, and the list goes on and on. For an employer it makes sense to get rid of the high overhead costs and let people who can, such as office staff, sales, personnel, payroll, secretaries, or data entry as a few examples, work at home.

*As far as employees go, I am told there are many factors that contribute to better productivity. The main reasons being that when they are working from home there are fewer distractions and they are more comfortable, therefore they can get more work done in less time.

*Also, they do not have the expense of transporting themselves from home to work and back again. Messing around in traffic these days has got to be the most stressful part of anyoneกs day. Do you really feel you can get the best performance as an employer or give your best as an employee after fighting your way to work through an allout war zone? I don’t care if you drive, ride the bus, take the subway, or fly to work, I do not believe you can give it your best when you start your day off with stress.

*And you can eliminate the need for and cost of babysitters. People have been asking for years how they can earn a good income and not have to give up precious time with their children. (This used to be impossible. Well, not any more)

A trend I have noticed coming on like gangbusters is the selfemployed approach to earning income. More and more people are being laid off, let go, or cannot find work, than ever before. There are massive numbers of people that seem to be stuck in a gray area or a void and can’t seem to get out of it. Everyday I talk to someone who gets laid off due to lack of work or gets replaced by high tech machines, or, more often then not, their employer has to close the doors. They try to collect the little bit of Government dole which they may or may not be entitled to, and, when that runs out, then what do they do?

I do know how tough it can be to find a job, any job, at any age these days, however, try to find a job at forty or fiftysomething. It is all but impossible. One choice you have, is to set yourself up in a business and be selfemployed. A lot of people either do not think of this or cannot see themselves as being their own boss.

Some people that try selfemployment have an extremely hard time doing so. Again, there are all the costs and time and effort involved with setting up and starting a business. So, we talk ourselves out of something that all of us have probably dreamed about at least once in our lives. Being selfemployed. Being our own Boss. Being able to say those immortal words ‘take this job and…ก

Hereกs a fairly new idea that is catching on very quickly, and it is an inexpensive and relatively easy answer to the problem. The Online Business. If you have a computer and are hooked up to the internet you are half way home to being your own business owner/operator. If you do not have a computer you can purchase a good used one for about $800 to $1200. A new one will run you about $1800 and up depending on how much power or how many toys you want, or need, to have. But, this is a lesson for another article.

Hereกs my story. I had never used a computer before in my life until about a year ago. I got hurt at work and had been off for about a year when the company let me go. You see, I had only been with the company for about three weeks when I got hurt and apparently they had the legal right to lay me off. There I was getting a small disability claim. Not knowing how long that would last and not being able to do the physical type of work I was used to any more. I had to think of some way to earn a living. I bought a used computer, paid $900 for it. I had never used a computer in my life and it scared me to death. I thought if I did something wrong, I might destroy Japanกs economy with one hit of a key! BOOM!

But, the more time I spent on the internet, the better I got at it; and the easier it became to navigate. Soon I was seeing that having a business on the net (an online business) was making a lot of people very rich. I know that just because you start a business you are not going to get rich, but I did see a chance to make a good living working from home and being my own boss. I learned everything I could, and am still (and will always) be learning, but I learned what I needed to know to get started as quickly as possible.

Ask my wife. I think she got jealous of my computer.

I got hooked and spent more time with the machine than I did with her. (Iกve since made up for that!). Within two months I was on the net and had launched my business. I now earn money from selling on the internet with my own web site. I decided that this could be done by anyone, so I developed a company that teaches people to be in business for themselves, and you use an existing business to do it while you learn the ropes.

I found that there are a few other companies on the net that offer affiliate or associate programs however, one has to be very, very careful about who you sign up with or give your money to. I have started many programs, one of them is a program called the Guardian Online WatchDog. I help to keep an eye on the scams and investigate.

In spite of this, an online business can be a very satisfying and rewarding career move for anyone. Finding the right business to be associated with and getting the best support possible is crucial to learning how to start your own online business. With the proper help and good information you can be up and running in a day. Like anything else though, don’t expect to get rich overnight. Although it can be a fairly simple matter to start your business it takes effort, motivation, and dedication to succeed. I recommend finding a business that you can sign up as an Affiliate, Associate, or Partner to start with. It might cost you a small up front fee, or monthly partnership or membership fee (a whole lot less expensive than a franchise), but this will give you an existing business to learn with and, if you work at it, make some money.

Once you are comfortable with the whole process of marketing and advertising on the web, and you feel you have a good idea for your own business, Go For It!

Great Success to you all!

How to Start a Business on a Shoestring

How to Start a Business on a Shoestring

by: Julie Martin

You don’t need to invest thousands of dollars to have a successful Internet business. In fact, chances are that you can do it for less than $100 by following our simple plan. Our ebusiness will be selling an informational ebook that we will be purchasing sales rights for.

Step #1 – Cheap Domains

Don’t get fooled by domain registrars that overcharge for a domain. You can register your new domain for as little as $6.95 a month if you comparisonshop. If your current registrar is charging an arm a leg for a renewal, consider transferring to a new registrar. Most of them offer a free year’s extension on your domain if you transfer over to their service.

Domain Registration fee $6.95

Cost so far $6.95

Step #2 – A Cheap but Reliable Webhost

This is where things can get tricky. If you need a lot of features for your website, then a bargain basement provider will probably not be able to help you. However, the webhosting business is highly competitive and you can find a decent ecommerce hosting package for as little as 15.95 a month. You’ll need to comparison shop to make sure you find the best deal. Make sure you find a host that doesn’t charge a setup fee, to defray your start up expenses.

Webhost cost $15.95 first month

Cost so far $22.95

Step #3 – Getting Your Content or Products Ready

If you plan to sell an ebook, you will need to make sure that you have the rights to distribute and sell this information. Of course, if you wrote the ebook, you won’t have to worry about this. If you plan to sell physical products, you can set up a relationship with a drop shipper so that you have no initial out of pocket expenses.

We’ll be purchasing distribution and sales rights for our ebook for $40.00

Distribution Rights $40.00

Cost so far $62.95

Step #4 – Designing Your Website

If you have a flair for this, it won’t cost you anything but your time. However, if you are completely clueless, you can purchase a website template, where the design is completely done for you and you just input your content. If you look hard enough, you can even find these templates for free.

Since we want an original look for our website, we are going to go with a cheap, but professional business template.

Template Cost $10.00

Cost so Far $72.95

Step #5 – Advertising Your New Site

Once you have your site up and running, you are ready to start doing some actual business. You would be surprised at how easy it can be to find cheap or no cost advertising. First, you will need to list your site with the most popular search engines. The good ones don’t charge, but it may take a few weeks for your link to be active. While you are waiting, start joining ezines and message boards that are compatible with your product. Since our ebook contains information on how to raise and grow indoor gardens, we’ll want to find all of the gardening ezines we can and join them. We’ll start by posting actual questions on gardening to message boards and adding a signature file to our posts. This is an honest way to get a lot of free exposure for your site.

Next, we’ll be placing our ads in ezines, which will normally charge anywhere from $1.00 to $25.00 per ad. Since we are on a shoestring, we will start by placing 5 ads for $1.00 a piece in 5 ezines.

Advertising costs $5.00

Final Cost $77.95

See, you actually have money left over! It is even possible to do this for even less money, but this example should give you an idea of how easy it is to start your own business for a very small initial investment.

Networking Top Tips

Networking Top Tips

by: Gill Fernley

1. Join several networking groups and attend as many of their events as possible. Regular attendance builds up good relationships very quickly.

2. Try and make sure you talk to at least one new person at each event you go to don’t just stick with the people you already know.

3. Don’t expect that you will walk into a networking event and come out of it with a job or a new client. Networking takes time and patience.

4. Sticking your business card under the nose of everyone you meet is guaranteed to annoy them. Don’t go into your sales pitch straight away and always try to talk with someone rather than at them.

5. Show a genuine interest in other people and what they do and get to know them as people rather than as business opportunities.

6. Don’t disregard someone who doesn’t seem to be of immediate ‘use’ to you. You never know who they know or how they might help you.

7. Manners cost nothing so treat everyone as you would wish to be treated yourself. People buy from – and recommend! – people they like.

8. Be natural, be yourself and enjoy the opportunity to meet and learn from other business people.

9. Don’t be afraid to walk up to someone and start talking. They are there for the same reasons as you are and will probably be grateful that they didn’t have to make the first move.

10. At the end of the day, everyone is there to meet new people and make new contacts so don’t be afraid of politely ending a conversation with someone and moving on to someone else – they won’t be offended.

11. When giving someone your business card, you may want to consider giving them two – one to keep and one to pass on.

12. Try and find something you can do for the people you are talking to. Do you have a contact you can pass on that might help them with a problem they have? Do you know a good supplier who is just what they are looking for? People will remember you as friendly and helpful.

13. If you make a good contact at an event, make sure you follow it up. Send them an email, make a quick phone call – it doesn’t matter how you do it but always, always follow up.

14. Don’t forget about online networking. Join some business forums, put up some posts. You’ll start to recognise some names and you may find that they are going to an event you will be attending which gives you a head start as you know someone already before you walk through the door.

And finally Listen! If you only take one tip away from this article, it’s got to be this one. If you’re too busy trying to think about what you’ve got to say next, you might just miss a golden opportunity. You’ll learn a lot more by listening and people will be impressed with someone who has obviously paid attention.

In summary, forget the sell, sell, sell take the pressure off yourself by approaching the event as a fun opportunity to meet likeminded people and always remember that you get back what you give.

Happy networking!

Goal Setting for your Home Business.

Goal Setting for your Home Business.

by: Ian Hugh Canaway

The ability to set goals and effectively motivate yourself to achieve them in home business are two essential skills that you cannot afford to overlook.

To try and start a business without goals could be compared to throwing a baseball pitch, blindfolded in the dark. What would be your chance of getting your pitch on target? Never mind getting a strikeout. Unless you are very lucky it is unlikely that you will have any success without properly setting out goals.

If when you start your home business, in what ever field it maybe, if you have no goals and aim at nothing, is it not unlikely that you will hit nothing and achieve nothing?

To set effective goals there are a few things you need to know about yourself which will affect how you set your goals. You are affected by, the environment in which you live, your experience and knowledge, your attitude and dreams and visions for the future.

When you set your goals you need to decide what you want and when you want to achieve each goal. You should spend time writing down your goals and display them in a prominent position where you will see them daily to remind yourself to stay motivated and focused. Cross off your goals once they’ve been achieved, adding new ones to ensure your business keeps growing.

ขDon’t set your Goals to low. If you don’t need much, you won’t become muchข. Jim Rohn

I’m sure you will have come across the SMART analogy, with regards to goal setting. It contains the most important concepts to consider and adhere to when setting your goals.

Goals should be; Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time related.

For example it would be unwise to set a goal of making $10,000 in a week, it’s just not a realistic goal for the average person, unless you have a lot of experience and knowledge in your field or receive help from someone who has these attributes. When you failed to reach this goal your motivation would suffer and you might start doubting your decision to start your home business.

Ok let’s set some goals, firstly, though I want you to write a list of all the things you want; whether it is a new car, watch, house, sofa, to send your kids through college or a successful home business, write them all down and say why you want it. When I did this I had a list the length of my arm and I’m still working through it 3 years on. By doing this it will help focus your mind and motivate yourself to succeed.

Now set your goals, they need to be SMART and you need to set both short term and long term goals. One of the best techniques I use is to set 6 goals before I go to bed for the next day and prioritise them. All successful people set goals and prioritise them in order of importance. Remember your time is your most important asset; you simply cannot afford to waste it.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. Aristotle –

By making goal setting a habit there is no reason why you cannot achieve excellence.

The Importance of a Mentor

The Importance of a Mentor

by: Troy Arden

When I first started this long but exciting home business journey I didn’t know which way was up. I had so many questions and absolutely zero answers. Where do I start? More important was how do I start? What to do, how to do it, where to look, what to look for and so forth. To be honest, I was lost.

Then came along my mentor. She helped me every step of the way. I was coached on what to start off with and how to go about doing it. Step by step my mentor tutored me so my business could get off the ground and start rolling. Without her I would be nowhere near where I am today.

My advice to all new home business entrepreneurs is to get a mentor. Things will run a lot smoother and you won’t be left shaking your head.

by: Karl Smith

Although many say that things change on the net, still what worked before keeps working.

Let me give you an example: If you have a PC and you do not know how to use it, you need to learn how. You go and learn the tactics and you will successfully switch on the PC.

I mean you need to know how to use the advertising techniques. You have to see what works best for you? Which do you prefer? Start pages or safe lists. Itกs better to use the tool you prefer. This will make it more fun and you are likely to use it better.

There is a proven formula to market with safe lists. However 99% do not use it… Yet it has worked for those who use it. You need to know that there are millions of people using safe lists. Do you know that millions mean more than something?

If you follow a proven, easytofollow tactic you will succeed with safe list. Using less effort and getting better results. You can be successful in everything, but you must know the right formula. You will realize that the right formula is also the easiest and fastest…

Try analyzing a program you use. You will find that there is something better you can do. There is a great formula you are not using.

Many people use start pages, yet 50% doesn’t know that there exists a simple formula. You need to use กsplash, eye capturing pagesก and not sales pages in start pages. It is very common to see sales pages in start pages, which means that the owner did not figure out that there is a better formula to market with start pages.

Try figuring out what formulas you can use to make your advertising techniques successfully work.

Home Business, Whatกs So Great About It?

Home Business, Whatกs So Great About It?

by: Stephen Warren

Home Business allows you more time to do what you want.

Home Business gives you more freedom i.e. no more 95 job.

Because a Home Business is well…. at Home, you don’t have to travel far to get there.

Just come down stairs in your pajamas and get to work right there and then. Itกs so convenient.

What is this article about?

Basically this is about starting a Home Business, whatกs involved, what options there are, how much it can cost etc.

I have already described the advantages of having a Home Based Business, so now we will discuss what is involved in starting one up.

When you start working for yourself there are several things you must take into consideration.

How much can I afford to spend on advertising, materials and other costs, can I afford to lose the money I am going to put into this business, where will I get finance from? And a million other things.

So I will break this down into many small chunks which will make it much easier to digest.

How much money will I need to start this up?

That is entirely dependant upon you and your goals. You should only invest as much money as you can afford to lose, this way, if everything goes wrong you can still live without too much interference.

That aside you must think how much you are going to spend on advertising. To work this out, you should take all of your costs and assign them a percentage of your finance which you will put into them. For example, if you had $10,000 to start your Business, you could assign 10% to advertising depending on how much everything else costs.

In my opinion you should work out your initial costs first, like rent and materials for example.

Then you can take whatกs left over and assign it to whatever else you want to spend the money on afterwards.

How can I tell if I can afford to lose the money I invest in my Business?

Very simply estimate the most that the business will cost you and assume that it wont make any money at all for a month, obviously this will be a big loss, but it will give you an idea of what COULD happen if your very unlucky.

If it looks like way more than you can afford to lose, then don’t do it until you are more prepared. But please remember that in business, there is no reward without risk. So if you don’t risk your money, then you wont be rewarded.

Do I need finance? And Where can I get it from?

Do you have enough personal savings to start the business you want to? If you don’t then you will need external financing.

The place where most people will get there initial financing is the bank. But there are other places and people as well.

Bank:

Mortgage for premises

Loan

Venture capitalists

Grants

And many more, but the above are the main ones.

Iกm sure you know what mortgages and loans are, but chances are, you don’t know what a venture capitalist is.

A venture capitalist is someone who contributes financing to a business in exchange for part ownership of the firm. This is ideal if you are starting an expensive business which you might not be able to afford, but expect high profits from.

But be careful, when you give up part ownership you give up some profits.
