The Magic of Writing Goals in your life!

The Magic of Writing Goals in your life!

by: Tal Fighel

Goal setting is an important technique used by athletes, successful businesspeople, lawyers, doctors, and great achievers in all fields. Goal setting is a very powerful technique that can yield strong returns in all areas of your life. Goal setting can help you grow in life. It can help you achieve more.

So what do you need to do first? You need to define a goal. You need to know exactly what you want, when you want it, and why you want it. What ever your dream is. That is your goal. If you don’t know exactly what your goal is, you will not commit to it. You will not have enough of a desire to achieve it. Successful businesspeople know exactly what they want to achieve in business and they make goals a top priority.

When you do write your goals down, you need to ask yourself one important question. Is this goal realistic? Is it attainable? Do you really believe that you can reach it? Faith is also an important ingredient that can make or break your goal. If you don’t believe that you can make your goal a reality, then you probably won’t. You need to have faith in yourself. You need to have faith in your goals. You need to have faith that you can reach any goal that you set.

This little girl had a dream to become the queen of England. She told everyone that she was going to achieve that goal. Do you think that she can achieve it since she has nothing to do with the royal family? Obviously not. It was a foolish goal. You need to make sure that your goal is realistic, and attainable. Now, if it is realistic then you need to put the proper date on it. The proper action that needs to be taken. You have to do everything in your power to make that goal come true.

So don’t put unrealistic dates on your goal. That is when you can get frustrated. If you are in MLM, you need to find someone who has reached what you are striving for and do exactly what he or she is doing.

You then need to determine what price, what’s the worthiness of that goal. What level of importance are you going to put on it? Is it a want? Is it a need? Is it, ขIt would be nice to have itข? You need to make that goal a burning desire. You need to make it a must. It is a ขHave to have it no matter whatข goal. If you do that then you’re your subconscious mind will look for ways to make that goal a reality. It will give you ideas on how you should go about to achieve it.

Now, shortterm goals are usually simpler and easier than longterm goals. Why? Well, writing them can help you have more frequent victories, and building momentum with each one you complete. If you do that, you can have more excitement and more motivation as you reach those goals on time. When you do reach you shortterm goals, don’t forget to reward yourself and celebrate. Buy new clothes that make you feel like a million bucks. Make a toast to yourself for reaching that goal. You should be feeling so good that you are telling yourself that you can reach ANY shortterm goal that you set.

A word of warning for the longterm goals that you make. It will be harder to achieve it because as the time goes by, you can get discouraged and lose your interest. Try to set shortterm goals. It will keep you more focused and motivated.

If you haven’t achieved your shortterm or longterm goal, you will need to look at your goal and change the date, and the action that you have taken when you didn’t reach that goal. Remember, if you take the SAME action that led you to failure then you will probably get the SAME results. You need to take a look from all angles to see what you did and what you can change.

What Does Faith Have To Do With Marketing?

What Does Faith Have To Do With Marketing?

by: Danielle Sanders

No, this isn’t going to be a sermon or anything … don’t worry about that! Iกm no preacher, so I wouldn’t even think of trying; but what I do have is faith in myself and faith in the fact that I can be successful on the internet.

Now, Iกm not talking about your regular, everyday takeitforgrantedbecauseIcandoitก faith in yourself.

Iกm talking about the faith in yourself that comes from TRULY KNOWING that you absolutely can and will achieve a goal that you want!!

That kind of faith in yourself is necessary so that you can conquer all the negativity that comes your way in a day. And it doesn’t matter where the negativity comes from; it could be from your motherinlaw, your husband, it doesn’t matter…as long as you have faith in yourself, you can block that negative energy and divert the danger of it away from yourself.

How, you say?

O.K…. here it comes … the old cliché …

THINK POSITIVE THOUGHTS! : 0 )

It works; believe me, it works. There is so much negative energy in our world today, why would you even want to add to that kind of energy? Because when you add to that (negative) energy, you help to magnify it! Thatกs right, it grows! And why on earth would you want to make more negative energy?!!

That doesn’t make much sense, now does it?

Conversely, when you have positive energy flowing, and others around you are doing the same, it also magnifies itself!! Positive energy begets positive energy and in turn, creates lots more smiles. : 0 )

So letกs get back to the subject at hand. What does faith have to do with marketing?

Hmm … good question.

If you are going to market your product or service, here, on the internet, you had better have faith in what you are marketing because if you don’t, itกs going to show through in your website and advertising and how you are presenting yourself.

If you have faith in yourself, people will see that. They will, in turn, have faith in you also. Itกs all part of that positive energy begetting positive energy thing I was talking about earlier.

Don’t you agree that the person on the receiving end of your website/newsletter/advertisement has to have some faith in you, or they wouldn’t linger?

So you see, faith has lots to do with marketing and marketing has lots to do with faith. Pretty simple when you think about it, eh?

So go and think your positive thoughts for today, but don’t just think them. I want you to really believe those thoughts, so much so that they become reality for you.

P.S. If you really want to accelerate the way you can create those positive thoughts and get want you want in life, then I can’t recommend this book enough ‘think and Grow Richก in ebook format. How to Effectively Design Your Business Image

How to Effectively Design Your Business Image

by: Faith Seekings

In many industries, image is one of the last things business owner looks at. If business is not booming, they assume there is something wrong with the sales method, as opposed to the image. กIf we just sent out a few thousand more fliersก they say, กwe will get some more clientsก. When in reality, they should be looking at how the message they’re sending to their target market is perceived in the first place. Here are a few pointers to look at:
Color
Colors evoke innate responses, which means not all colors are suitable for all business types. How does red make you feel? Angry, in pain, tense? It’s tricky. In the financial industry red is negative (in the red). In the world of health, red can represent discomfort, not good for people offering pain solutions. In fitness, red is very sporty and stimulating. How about blue? It tends to be calm and soothing. Blue can range from fun and playful sky blue to dark, corporate navy. Green is often associated with natural things, or ‘go’ and money – depending on the shades. Yellow/orange/reds/browns in combination stimulate the appetite think fast food and candy bars. Red is tricky. In some instances red means power and is striking. Purple can very easily go from sophisticated, royal aubergene to kid’s grape (Barney). Orange is still a little weird and often used as a shocker, not as the dominant color. The only industry that can get away with almost any color is Tech.
Personal Preference VS Market Preference
People often let their own personal tastes rule their image decisions Oneกs color preferences and styles may not suit the audience they are targeting. What style of design appeals to you? Now imagine that in the eyes of someone quite different, like your grandmother. For example: being too sporty and athletic when your target is professional businesspeople. Too earthy and organic when your target is average Joes. There may be imagery that means a lot to you in your profession, but doesn’t mean much to your target market. It may even scare them. Step back and look at your business as if you’ve never encountered it before. Imagine what might attract clients, or help explain simply what you do. Realizing that your image needs to portray a certain message to the general public, not the you or your colleagues, is the first step to image success.
Looking กNewก
Just because youกve only been in business for a few days, doesn’t mean you have to look like it. Having a well puttogether public image will build trust and a solid reputation. Taking a little time and care instead of quick ‘good enough’ fixes will help you appear more established. Potential clients may not consciously pin point it, but they will pick up on the homespun factor or the generic Staples business cards. How does that affect your credibility? It is good to get your name and information about your business out there. However, when it comes to points of contact like brochures and web sites, if they are messy and difficult to read, they aren’t doing you any favours. There are professionally designed, inexpensive web templates that can do a great job until you are ready for a custom web site. Find a real printer and ask them have a look at your layout and make sure your type isn’t falling off the edge and that the images sharp.
Looking like everyone else
You have a lot of competition. If everyone in your industry uses the same symbols and goes for the standard solution, how will you stand out? What makes your business unique? Is it the name? The location? Is there something meaningful to you that you could incorporate into your identity that shows your uniqueness, or that speaks to your target audience? Maybe a new take on an industry symbol. It could be as simple as having a blue card with a different typeface. Imagine this amongst a sea of black and white, times roman everything centered cards.
Looking good on a shoestring budget
If you can’t hire a designer there are a few things you can do to help look like a pro. Have things printed professionally – it is much better than your bubble jet. Don’t make all the type gigantic. Give everything some breathing room by not butting up against the edge of the page or pictures. Line things up. Look at the competition. Compare your work to professionally designed material and try to notice the differences that make theirs look cleaner. Put your own tastes aside and ask your target audience for their opinions and then listen to them.

The Day My Computer Died

The Day My Computer Died

by: Jesse S. Somer

I’ve always been a skeptic when it comes to technology, especially computers and the Information Age. I used to think it was crazy how people would put their total faith into a machine, some even more so than in their faith in humanity. Human beings are flawed, imperfect creatures. I say this in a positive way because if humanity were completely positive and perfect we would have nothing to learn, and life would lose its vitality and mystery. Computers come from the same universal reality as humanity, so I believe that we should look at technology in a similar context. Computers are not infallible pieces of nature’s perfection.

I’ve come to learn that computers are great tools for human society. They can be functional in innumerable areas of everyday existence, helping to simplify many aspects of our lives. However, as today I discovered my computer had ‘died’ after a lightning strike had hit my house and subsequent power surge, the realization came that a complete faith in our progressive technology is simply not practical. I’m not saying that like the Luddites of the early era of industrialization we need to destroy this stuff, I’m just saying that we must realize that like all things in life, technology can and will become sick and die on occasion. Working at an Internet Web Hosting company I have been witness to many of these illnesses, and it has been very fortunate that human ‘doctors’ have been present to undertake surgery.

It’s a real bummer when something goes wrong, but these occurrences are necessary in a spacetime continuum that is in constant flux. If you are a spiritual person, you might say that there’s only one thing in life to have unwavering faith in: Magical existence itself. You might be asking yourself by now, ‘What is this guy talking about?’ I think I’m just rationalizing the death of my newfound ‘friend’. I’m coming to the point where I understand my old fears were irrational and unfounded, as most fears generally are. However, I’m also wondering about these people out there who have more faith in computers than human beings. For instance, I know of a man who says that he would rather fly in an airplane under automatic pilot instead of the real thing. Human pilots can get drunk the night before and be depressed and hung over right? Whereas computers are completely rational, unemotional and unable to partake in activities deemed by most as unsavory.

The sad fact is computers can break and die. Maybe we need to find a happy medium where inorganic and organic intelligence work in tandem, so that if one half of the partnership fails, the other half can always compensate. Let me tell you I’m quite sad right now, but hey ‘shit happens’. I just hope that the ‘shit’ isn’t your plane landing in the ocean because of a computer that’s had too much vodka the night before.

Internet Marketing A Leap Of Faith

Internet Marketing A Leap Of Faith

by: Paul White

Do you remember as a child having to do something you really didn’t want to do because it was difficult?

Was it music lessons? Or dancing? Or some kind of sporting activity? I am sure you can remember something that your parents really wanted you to do, but you rebelled against!

With almost everyone there is something they tried, and failed to do as a child.

Can you remember how good you felt, when finally your parents gave into your demands and let you กgive it upก, but that feeling didn’t last forever, did it?.

Ten or fifteen years later didn’t you look back and hate yourself, for making that decision to quit all those years ago?

Do you remember looking at your friends, the one or two who did continue, with envy at what they managed to achieve?

Don’t you remember thinking ‘that could have been me..ก Don’t you remember feeling angry with your parents for letting you give up, when you could have made a success of things, if you had just kept going when things got tough.

But it is easy to blame others for decisions made when you were young, and as a child you were too immature to see the big picture.

Yet as an adult there is noone else to blame, and many adults take up things later on in life, everything from scuba diving to hang gliding, to internet marketing! But surprisingly, most people still give up after a short time.

But why? You would have thought that the benefits of maturity and hindsight would have told them to keep going.

Sadly the fact is most people give up on everything in life when it becomes difficult.

Most people, even as adults, can still not see the กBig Pictureก. They fail because they do not like doing the mundane, boring and time consuming tasks, that everyone who has ever succeeded in anything has to do initially.

It they don’t achieve success immediately, they start to doubt themselves, and doubt that what they are doing will ever make them successful.

They can not make that leap of faith. Faith in themselves, and faith in what they are doing.

Today, in my new career helping people to make money on the internet, I see people trying to achieve financial independence, and it really saddens me when they give up after just a short time.

Most people start off by trying to go it alone, to teach themselves.

They get themselves a free affiliate/associate website, they then put in a few ads on free classified sites, and soon become disillusioned after failing to make any sales. Most quit at this stage.

Of the people left, some decide that it must be the product that is wrong, so they sign up for ten or twenty more free associate sites, but they then find that their problems are magnified ten or twenty times, since they now have to promote all of these different sites individually.

They put ten or twenty ads in the same free classified sites, but still end up with no sales. Most of these people then quit at this stage.

A few enlightened people however don’t give up. They look around for a ‘teacherก, or กmentorก. They look at the people who have become successful, and are making money, and they decide to learn off of them.

As a former teacher, I try to show people the correct way of doing things in order to succeed.

For example, contrary to what the companies themselves say, you will not make much money by directly promoting just one free affiliate site.

You need your own website, which has been professionally designed so that you can feature all of your programs at once. You then need to drive traffic to your one site, and there are lots of different ways of doing this.

Also, whatever you are selling, most people will not buy anything the first time, in fact they need to see the same thing seven or more times, before they decide to buy. You need an autoresponder system to keep reminding prospects over and over again about your products and services.

I explain to people that it is essential to remain in contact with your customers, so that they keep buying from you, and that you need to run a daily/weekly/monthly, newsletter or ezine.

To do this you must have a listserver which allows you to send an email to hundreds, or thousands of people all at once.

On my website I give away tons of FREE Ebooks and Software to help people succeed.

The point I always try to get across is that there is always a solution, to every problem, you just have to keep going until you find it.

Every single person who has ever been successful know this.

Problems are the food of success. Each problem or set back that you encounter, pushes you a bit closer towards achieving your goal!

Yes or course there is a lot to learn, but the average person with a bit of determination will succeed. Don’t กgive upก just because things occasionally get tough.

Remember the lesson you learnt as a child, if you give up now, then in a few years time you will be bitter and angry with yourself for not going the distance.

Just remember it is impossible to fail, as long as you keep on trying.

So why not look at things again? Itกs not too late, even if you have กgiven upก on the idea of making any serious money.

You owe it to yourself to make that leap of faith.

Start to believe in yourself, just one more time, and have faith in the people who really have made a success out of the internet, and want to help you succeed.
