More Profits in Your Website Hosting Business

More Profits in Your Website Hosting Business

by: Raynay Valles

If you run a website hosting business, you already know the challenges in the business. Thousands of competitors are just a click away, ready to undercut your price.

Potential customers see hosting as a commoditiy and shop by price. Several directories like Hostreview, Acehosts and Hostindex make it easy to comparison shop.

How can you get more profits from your business under these conditions?

FIRST, GET THE CUSTOMER

Calculate the lifetime value of your customer. For example, letกs say the average customer stays with you for 15 months and pays 16.95 a month. That means their lifetime value to your company is $254.25. So every customer you acquire makes your business (on average) $254.25.

If a visitor comes to your website, then leaves to comparison shop, you have more than likely lost that sale. Have you invested in sales copy that compels your visitors to buy from you? Does your website help him to see that you are the best choice for his situation? Showcase your credibility, guarantee services and offer incentives to try your service. Make it easy to buy from you.

NEXT, KEEP THE CUSTOMER

Because each customer is hardwon and the value of the customer is so high, youกll want to make sure you have the support services that keep your customers happy.

Once a customer leaves you for another website host, heกs gone forever. You probably already make customer service a priority, with email answered in a timely fashion and welltrained technical support. Go the extra mile. Don’t wait for customers to contact you. Ask your customer how you’re doing.

THEN, SELL MORE TO THE CUSTOMER

The customer has already bought from you. There is familiarity and trust. You can easily offer complimentary items to your current customer list.

The major concern of your customer is how to succeed online. Itกs easy to offer online marketing tools, ebooks and additional services. It can be as simple as joining an affiliate program for an item your customer may need, then making him aware of the item.

Focus on these 3 areas, getting the customer, keeping the customer and selling more to him. Youกll enjoy higher profits in your website hosting business.

Print Shop Deluxe Empowering Users To Do Publishin

Print Shop Deluxe Empowering Users To Do Publishing

by: Grannyกs Mettle

Professional and businesslooking cards have become so tedious that I have been trying to get other programs to help me create cards and albums without feeling that itกs a lot of work for me.

Broderbundกs ‘the Print Shopก has been doing that for its clients, particularly users who need a quick, easy and affordable way to do basic publishing activities.

Now comes another version of the popular Print Shop program that lets you design or adapt over 11,000 templates of everything from greeting cards and photo albums, to signs, banners, and even calendars.

The Print Shop Deluxe 12.0 is for kids, as well as for those kidsatheart, who love the idea of churning out fun projects. Aside from turning regular banners and greeting cards into great works that ensures attraction, the newest edition of the 16yearold printing and desktop publishing program includes a photo editor and tools that can help users produce simple paper products from menus to other marketing products. It also has easytouse interface, and a great online support.

Print Shop 12.0 is easy to use, never mind that the program has six CDs of clip art. One review even stated that you might need to find enough drive space for the whole กmonster programก. The review even said that even if one should stick with the minimum installation option, the program still needs 670MB of drive space. On the other hand, if one should decide to just keep the extra clip art CDs handy, swapping them every time you need an image may be a timeconsuming alternative.

But as Iกve said earlier, never mind the number of CDs. The huge collection of clip art and images will blow your mind. With more than 134,000 images and 11,000 layout templates, youกll have more than enough for the next decade of publishing, I think.

With its easytouse interface, the program is definitely simple and functional. Print Shop 12.0 has menus with scores of commands and toolbars easy enough to manipulate. One artist even boasts of its large open space in the center of all those icons and toolbars the better to design your work.

The program also boasts of 5,000 more templates than the previous version. Just choose a template from one of the many categories, do the easy instructions, then customize the text and art and your on your way to creating your very own greeting card, or banner, or whatever marketing material you need at the moment.

The new Color Set Creator also helps users change the Color Set on the background. With just one click, users can try different colors for their project.

With a userfriendly manual, even a kid can handle its features. The programกs help file is complete and clear.

Networking Basics Turn Yourself Into A Profit Maki

Networking Basics Turn Yourself Into A Profit Making Giant

by: Costa Dedes

I would like to introduce you to one of my brick and mortar business I run. It is called AFM Computer Repair. This business takes me about 5 hours a week, yet I usually make a few hundred dollars cash in my pocket spending money a week. Now I know what everyone is thinking, กHow the HELL do you run a brick and mortar business with only 5 hours of your time a week!ก. Well its quite simple. Its called networking. Ok I admit the location isn’t mine, it doesn’t have my name on it. But the benefits are great I don’t pay monthly bills! This is like a dream come true, your own store with no bills.

OK let me explain a little more. The business sells refurbished computers that are supplied by a local computer recycler. I networked myself with a few local business owner in my home town and managed to find a few people who could be interested in selling PC products. After getting the names and locations of each business I wrote up a presentation and showed them the benefits of having me in the store selling my products. The owners almost dropped to their knees begging me to setup my displays. A week later I had three shops all selling computer for ME. I had no overhead I did not even need to be in the store for more then a few hours each week.

The secrets to networking is to find a product you are interested in. Once you have found the product learn more about it. Once you learned enough about the product, read about it some more until it is so well into your memory you have no questions about it. Then prepare a list of possible business to market your product in. I recommend small locally owned businesses in downtown parts of your town, example would be a corner store where people hang out to buy beer and cigarettes you know people will be in and out all day. Then prepare your presentation. Make sure you can answer the most outrageous questions on your products. Do not forget the part that will make your perspective partner drop to his knees asking you to come sell in his shop. The secret to this is กMake him an offer he cant refuseก. No no, I don’t mean get the mob over and break his knees. What you need to do is tell him that your product will give him extra cash with no investment. The owner does not have to purchase any of your products up front. You own all the products until they are sold. Once they are sold you write up a bill and give it to the shop owner. You make sure you give them a good cut of the money. Depending on your product that can be anywhere from 15% to 60%. If you keep the shop owner happy I promise you that the money you see will continue to come for years.

Specific example: Lets say you want to start small. Purchase a box of lighters from http://www.dropshipping4u.com/catalog/ . Then go to a locally owned store and give them a presentation on your products. Make sure you purchase an interesting type of lighter. Yes you can purchase the plain lighters but they are harder to market. The ones that look like cigarettes are a good buy so lets try them. They cost you 82 cents a piece after shipping. I have seen these selling as high as 5.99 in some good markets. Lets take a bad price of 2.25 per lighter. You sell them all within a week, thatกs $108.00, now you owe the shop owner some money, lets say 20%. You send him a bill for $86.40 . He makes a little over $20.00 and is happy, he did no work and made some money for his shop. You profited $47.04 lets say you have only 5 shops signed up with you. That is $235.20 profit in your pocket. Ok lets say you sold the lighters for $5.99 because you are in a tourist area and the tourist always go for these things. You would see a profit of over $190.00 from one case. Imagine that times 10 stores a week. You see where networking with local business will make you big cash now? The next time you go to a mini mart look at the counter, ask them where do you get your lighters from most of the time they get them outsourced by people like yourself. Now go out there and make some cash!

Thanks for reading my stories.

20 Extra Hous Per Week: What Would You Do?

20 Extra Hous Per Week: What Would You Do?

by: Daniel Tangredi

While I was in college, if you would have asked me what I would do if I had an extra 20 hours to spend in a week, the first thing I would have told you is that I would definitely NOT spend it studying. I actually would have gone down a long list of hobbies and activities I would like to do if I had the time. So when my coworkers asked me to find out what owners/managers of sign companies would do if they had an extra 20 hours per week, I was very interested in hearing the responses. What types of activities are sign shop owners doing with their spare time? Was there a common activity or hobby in the sign & graphics industry? Or would I hear several different responses?

The Results

The results were unexpected to say the least. By my fourth call I started to hear a common trend forming among sign shop owners. None were used to having leisure time, or so it seemed. In fact Marion Ward, the owner of AWC Signs, told me he hasn’t had 20 extra hours in twenty years. ขI wouldn’t know what to doข he said about having time off from the shop. Marion explained that he has been in this industry for quite a long time, and was soon going to retire. Just the thought of having extra time on his hands was completely foreign to him. Does Marion represent sign shop owners as a whole? Is the sign & graphics industry really so busy that owners/managers don’t even have time to think about leisure activities? Or, are shop owners unaware of how easy it is in this day and age to save time?

The next person I talked with was also surprised by the question. Randy from Bama Signs told me he ขnever thought about itข. Never thought about saving time I asked ขCan you think about it now and tell me what you would do?ข After a little probing and a little time to think about the question, Randy said he would most likely ขspend the time fixing up housesข which he liked to do on the side to make a little extra money. This was getting interesting. Already two people who never thought about having a couple extra hours or even the ability to save time for that matter. Two people who were surprised simply by the question itself.

Increasing Productivity

Being the GenXer and fresh out of college guy that I am, I have always looked for ways to make things easier. Isn’t that what we do in college, look for ways to spend less time but get the same or even better results? At one time, my goal was to figure out how to work less but get paid more (I hope my boss isn’t reading this) without cheating of course. This is what most owners or business graduates call ขIncreasing Productivityข. Well, in this day and age with so many advances in technology, there is always a way to work less and get paid more, therefore increasing your productivity. In fact I now work for a company that helps shops do just that.

Software – It’s amazing!

SOFTWARE! The amazing world of mouse clicks, GUI interfaces, pricing screens and automation. A brain, or what techies call a processor, that thinks even when the power is turned off, or so some of us think. A world where you don’t have to be the only one estimating jobs, because your pricing is built into the software. Where you can fill out customer information one time and never have to reenter it again. Where you have the ability to duplicate information and go from estimates to orders, easily and effectively by simply converting and cloning. A world where you can set automatic reminders that tell you who needs to be called, what needs to be done, and when to do it. Where it’s possible to truly, never again be in ขmanagement overloadข, so you can actually relax and enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning. A world where you can search through hundreds, thousands, even millions of customer records/information in a matter of seconds, rather then hours or days. Imagine the p!

ower and control given to you in this world. This is the world I have come to know and this is the world I have come to love. The world where we all can work less, take advantage of technology, and still increase revenue and productivity.

The Scared Stigma

So why aren’t more business owners jumping onto the ขsoftware trainข. Could it be that computer software and new technology scares them? It seemed to scare Marion Ward when I spoke with him. Is there some stigma behind software that leaves the nonGen Xer’s afraid? If so, to those people I say ขDo not be afraidข. These advancements in technology will make it easier for people such as Karen Bouknight of A Plus Signs & Graphix to ขRelax and just chillข as she easily put it when I spoke with her. It will give Mike Bayliss of Bayliss Signs Plus more time to ขPlay Golfข as he stated he would like to do more. It will give us all a chance to ขTake a vacation and take offข along side of Bill from Grafx Sign & Design.

Whether it be estimating and business management software like Cyrious Software, or some other software package that helps you save time, my only question is what would you do if you had an extra 20 hours per week?

7 Steps to Selling Artwork

7 Steps to Selling Artwork

by: Steven Popkin

Selling arwork is easy when you follow a road map. In this article you learn the step by step guide to marketing art for profits. Now onto the plan!

1. Decide that you want to sell your artwork!

Now, I know this sounds ridiculous on the surface but look at it a little deeper. Many artists love just creating art, they have no desire to sell what they make. Selling their work becomes unfortunately a necessary evil. Suffice to say…Supplies, tools, food and housing costs money. If you want to be a full time artist you either have to have money saved up, work another full time job or learn how to sell some of your work. Many artists look at this last alternative as something they dread doing. I hear all the time…กI want to be an artist not a salesperson!ก I couldn’t agree more! But…and here is the big but…you have to learn easy methods to help you sell your art where the art basically sells itself.

2. Decide what you want to sell.

Many artists don’t have a clue what to sell. This causes them a lot of stress. They will say that their work is too time consuming and they will never recoup the cost or time involved in making the piece. If this is the case, you will need to do some research to find out what is selling and if your work has a market for it. You should not create dozens if not hundreds of pieces to find out that there is no market or interest in that particular artwork. A little research ahead of time goes along way. If you have artwork that falls into the category of being one of a kind, expensive and time intensive to produce you will also have to decide the marketability of the piece. There are easy ways to do this research ahead of time you just have to be educated in the proper steps on how to do it. Failing to do it could bankrupt you before you get started.

3. Decide where you are going to sell it.

Once again, a little research goes a long way! For example, where do you think you would do better selling Southwest (United States that is) style artwork… in Phoenix, Arizona or New York City? Now some of you reading this may say well there could be some buyers for this type of artwork in New York City. And your right… there could be some. But isn’t it easier to catch a fish where the fish are biting? In other words find the buyers for your style of artwork where they live, work or shop. You need to learn how to investigate art shows, galleries, websites and the like where your buyers visit. Not doing this crucial step will not only cause you heartache but lead to wasted opportunities. As you can see, this step builds upon the previous two. Now onto number 4!

4. Decide how much you are going to sell your work for.

Artists either do one of two things…under price their work or overprice it. Most never get it right from the get go. Trial and error seems to be the name of the game. Well, until you figure out the right prices for your work, much money or lost sales probably have slipped thru your fingers. There are several strategies to speed up this process to determine what price point will work best for your style of work. In my course I teach specific points in setting your prices from the start. I have heard that this information has created peace of mind for many people for it gives them a logical road map to follow. It also allows you latitude to know when to raise your prices and situations where you will be more profitable reducing your prices. Believe me, some of my best profitable pieces come from items that I could sell all day long for under $20. Now before you say, กI have no interest in selling for that price point…ก What if I told you that these are pieces that I would normally give away and they take me less than 2 minutes of my time to make? Found money which exposes people to my more expensive pieces which I sell for thousands of dollars.

5. Set up an efficient shop and process to produce your work.

This sounds pretty simple doesn’t it? But how many of you reading this could honestly say that your workspace is productive, efficient and could handle multiple projects at once? Artists tend to get rapped up in their work and lose track of time, space, equipment, materials and everything in between. I know Iกve been there. I would go into my studio about 7:30 at night just to complete a simple part of a project I was working on. I put on some กmood musicก, turn off the phones and get into the zone. The next thing I know it is 3 in the morning and I just can’t stop. I love it! But the shop can become a disaster when I get going. Cutting glass for my stained glass windows, scrap glass lying around, airbrushes and the like…things pile up quick! Setting up your shop for production helps keep you working productively. Once I tightened this area up I was spending more time creating art and less time cleaning up and organizing all the supplies and materials that I just finished using. You are probably saying to yourself, กSteve, this sounds like common senseก, and it is, but we all fall into this trap. If you are going to start selling your artwork you are going to need to learn to ‘tightenก up the shop. This will be the only way to be productive and profitable.

6. Organize your schedule.

This includes specific things such as: 1. Buying supplies and materials 2. Talking to prospective customers and current customers 3. Working on your art 4. Planning your marketing activities 5. Daily & monthly business activities such as taxes, bills, paying utilities, registering for artshows and the like 6. Having fun outside the studio! This step directly follows step 5 above. If you กfly by the seat of your pantsก plan to be stressed and overwhelmed. Take time to write out all the tasks that you need to accomplish in a typical day, week or month and create a ‘to doก list. I have done this successfully for many years and have found it to be the most productive use of my time. Give it a try and watch how you multiply your accomplishments!

7. Create art & Sell it!

This involves putting it all together. Just do it in a systemized fashion. The above will help you get started. Learning how to sell your artwork is really easy once you have the conceptual understanding and tools of how to do it. My advance course can easily help you do it. For the price that I am offering to you I truly don’t understand why you have not gotten at this point.

Remember, FEAR, is simple กfalse evidence appearing realก. The reason artists don’t like selling their work is because of fear, fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of the กI told you soก from family members. This fear is false! You can prove all your critics wrong and most importantly become HAPPY! Why not live the life you want, the life you dream about, the life you deserve. Happiness should not be a hopeful goal down the road but a major component of the journey. Isn’t that what lifeกs about? Go for it!

The Lost Art Of Fundamental Copywriting

The Lost Art Of Fundamental Copywriting

by: Dean Phillips

What ever happened to good old fashion, fundamental copywriting? Has anyone seen AIDA? I mean, before you can run, you first have to learn how to walk, right? Yet, I see it over and over again. Marketers who can’t even write a simple headline are trying to กhypnotizeก readers with กpsychological copywriting,ก because thatกs what a few of todayกs copywriting experts are telling them they should do!

Iกll let you in on a little secret. If you master the fundamentals of copywriting, youกll automatically be writing hypnotic, psychological copy, because thatกs the essence of the AIDA formula. Hereกs a perfect example of the type of fundamental copywriting Iกm referring to:

Following is a sales letter written by someone whom I have a tremendous amount of respect for, Dr. Kevin Nunley. I chose not to use a sales letter Iกd written myself, because I thought that might appear to be selfserving.

ATTENTION AUTO SHOP OWNERS!

Are you making the kind of money you deserve? Could your business use a kickstart? Are you looking for that easier, more effective way to run your business without working 60 hours or more a week?

LET ME SHOW YOU EXACTLY HOW I GREW MY SHOP FROM JUST AN IDEA, TO THE BUSIEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP IN TOWN THAT WAS PRODUCING $25,000 PER BAY ON A MONTHLY BASIS!

This is a true story that can be your story, too! I really did itI started with nothing but an idea for my own repair shop, and grew it to be the best one in town. Just a few years later, my shop was producing on average $25,000 dollars per bay. This almost doubles the industry standard! The best part about it was that I did not even need to be at the shop!

It may sound amazing, but you can do it, too. Lucky for you, you don’t have to go through all the trial and error that I did. You don’t have to make the same costly mistakes, or jump into things with blinders on. I can show you what to do every step of the way.

Welcome to RobRussellInfo.com! My name is Rob Russell. I have designed this website to provide valuable information to anyone interested in succeeding as a shop owner. If you are a technician looking to get started with your own operation, or a seasoned shop owner looking for help in making your shop more profitable, I can help.

As you may be aware, most repair shop owners started out as technicians (or mechanics). Most of these technicians are very good at what they do, but unfortunately, they don’t know much about all the aspects of running a business: production, finance, management, customer service, etc. As a result, many shop owners end up being overworked, and become a slave to the business, working long hours with lots of stress. ARE YOU ONE OF THESE?

I CAN HELP!

Using my systems, strategies, and techniques, youกll be able to handle all the complicated business aspects of running a repair shop…without all the stress the other guys are under. Less stress and simpler operations means more time and energy to spend pleasing your customerswhich is what any successful shop needs to do.

YOU CAN LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE!

My cuttingedge systems are the same systems that have allowed me to build my own shop into a model for the automotive industry. I developed these industryspecific procedures after making lots of mistakes myself, including one that cost me $10,000.

Through trial and error, I learned what works and what doesn’t, and how to build a successful auto repair shop.

BUT IS IT FOR ME?

YES! Whether you’re just one guy starting out in your own small shop, or a larger shop with 6 or 7 bays and 20 employees, my system will work for you!

I have designed this system to be step by step, and at the same time be flexible for you and your style. No กcookie cutterก approach here. These are real world, proven techniques, that I used myself, in my own shop!

WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

You simply have 2 choices.

The above sales letter is one of the most fundamental, yet highly effective sales letters Iกve ever had the pleasure of reading. How do I know itกs effective? Because when I asked Rob Russell for permission to use his sales letter in this article, I also asked him if the letter was working for him. And he told me that he was very pleased with the results.

I should also mention, in the interest of keeping this article as brief as possible, I intentionally left out the testimonials. If you would like to see the sales letter in its entirety, you can view it here: http://www.robrussellinfo.com

That sales letter is a simple but psychologically powerful example of copywriting, because it follows the AIDA formula to the letter:

A= ATTENTION: The very first thing your ad or sales letter must do is get your prospects กATTENTIONก. The very best way to do that is with an effective headline.

I= INTEREST: After you get your prospects attention, you want to get them กINTERESTEDก in your product or service. You do that by immediately telling them what your headline promises. You don’t waste their time with a bunch of fluff and garbage that nobody but you cares about.

D= DESIRE: You have to make your prospects กDESIREก your product or service. And the way to do that is with benefits, benefits and more benefits!

A= ACTION: You want to close your ad or sales letter with a call to กACTION!ก In other words, ask them for the order. Itกs important to ask for the order at least three times, preferably six or more.

Anyway, thatกs it. Youกve just seen an example of fundamental copywriting at its finest.

Forget about trying to write a brilliant, psychological ad or sales letter. Follow the AIDA formula faithfully, and I promise you, the brilliance will take care of itself!

Paint Shop Pro 9 On Review

Paint Shop Pro 9 On Review

by: Blur Loterina

Do you want to create an artistic version of your photo? How about a program that allows you to undo individual steps that you applied on the image without affecting all other steps?

Paint Shop Pro 9 introduces two special effects filters, the Displacement Map and the Radial Blur. The Displacement Map is a tool for creating 2D and 3D surface distortions while the Radial Blur is used for creating blur effects including spin, twist and zoom. With the Print Layout dialog, you will be able to add freeform text captions and title to your photo layouts using the Text Options. The new Text tool options allow you to create vertical text and render small font sizes. For polygons and star shapes, you can use the new Symmetric Shape tool that’s customizable.

Paint Shop Pro introduces another tool for digital camera users, the Info palette. This palette is designed to show the EXIF data that digital cameras automatically store with their images. Examples of which are aperture and exposure. Paint Shop Pro 9 contains features to support unprocessed raw sensor data that are captured by advanced cameras. It also allows you to set customized white balance and exposure, as well as sharpening of settings for import.

You can now easily undo any individual editing step in a document’s history through the use of the Powerful Selective Undo. The History palette lists all the commands that you applied on the image. You can undo specific steps without affecting subsequent actions.

The latest Paint Shop Pro features new enhanced filters. It has Digital Camera Noise Removal, which not only scans photos it also eliminates image noise introduced at the sensor while intelligently preserving image textures. Its Chromatic Aberration Removal removes undesirable coloured glow around images caused by digital cameras. It contains a Fill Flash Filter that corrects the underexposure of shadows and Backlighting Filter compensates for overexposed areas.

Not only does this software handle existing photos, it can also create images from scratch in both bitmap and vector format. It also has Rectangle and Oval tools. The Pen tool in this version is a lot simpler.

The new Art Media tool is a realistic artbased functionality that contains tools including Oil Brush, Palette Knife, Chalk, Pastel, Crayons, Colored Pencil and Marker. This tool features a traditionalstyle Mixer that’s just like those traditional artist’s tools. You can add, mix and sample your paint on an offcanvas area using the new dockable palette. You can also convert photos to an artistic version by setting the colour to Trace, it automatically samples the underlying colour.

However, working with this software requires longer time, but you can be assured of great results. It can convert average photos to outstanding shots with eyepopping quality and clarity.

Their songs were about national issues, politics and human rights. They support the American Indian Movement and Che Guevara, the face you see on tshirts. Not that it concerns me. 5 Secrets to Building a Successful Internet Busine

5 Secrets to Building a Successful Internet Business

Everyday I talk with people who want to get started on the internet with their own business. But the whole process seems a mystery to them whether they have an affiliate marketing program, a real estate course or they sell health and fitness products. The easiest way I found to walk people through the basic building blocks is to use a real life example of building a brick and mortar business. Success on the internet is possible when you know how to build it and drive targeted traffic to your website.

Letกs say you wanted to open a coffee shop that would rival Starbuckกs®. Where would you begin? You would probably want to do some kind of research to see how many coffee shops were in your town or city. After all, if there are 5 in a ten mile radius, you might want to think about a different location or how you would make your coffee shop unique enough to slaughter the competition.

1. Identify your niche

Well, itกs not much different on the web. You want to first identify your niche. First, letกs quickly explain what a niche is and isn’t. If you are selling every affiliate marketing program under the sun, this is not a niche. A niche would be to focus on affiliate programs in a specific field like health and fitness. Then you want to find out what the top websites are by typing กhealth and fitnessก into Google. Here you can see the top 10 sites that Google says are important. Remember that even the category กhealth and fitnessก can be broken down into further niches like weight loss for women or top 20 health products for longevity. See what your competition is doing and how you could do it different or better.

Another way to look for niches is to use Overtureกs search term tool. Place your keyword in the box and hit go. Overture will spit out anything relevant to that keyword. It will show you possible niches you hadn’t thought of and how many people search for that keyword. For example, you may put in coffee beans and it may show you that organically grown and processed coffee beans are all the rage.

2. Build a user friendly website

Back to the coffee shop. Next thing you might do is have the shop built in a good location where traffic can come and go easily. You too must build a website that has what people are looking for, is easy to navigate, easy to shop and checkout with friendly customer service. Tip: If you are selling weight loss products, don’t try and sell power tools. While this may sound obvious, many people try to take the กsell everythingก they can approach and what happens is they end up selling nothing.

What will the environment of the coffee shop be like? What experience do you want your customers to have? Your customers will be entering your website with expectations of finding the information they need and the products they want. In that order. You might invite them to sign up for a free 7 part report on กhow to lose 10lbs guaranteed over the next 30 days eating healthy.ก At the end of that report you can encourage them to look at your weight loss supplements or vitamins.

3. Good navigation

As in the coffee shop, have your items for sale laid out in a well organized fashion so the buyer can order exactly what they want with little effort except to give you their credit card number. It is best to have your products grouped and images optimized for fast page loads. Think about what you like. Do you want to see ten products described well on a page or fifty crammed in? As you would have nice displays in your coffee shop so will you on your website.

4. Offer something better than your competition does

What other things could you do to enhance your buyerกs experience? In a coffee shop you could offer free samples of new drinks or have a discount card for people who drink coffee with you every morning. On your website, you can offer free tips, reports and discounts on volume buys or repeat purchases.

5. Market wisely

So, how do you get people to come try your coffee shop? Typically, a brick and mortar business will advertise in the local paper. It may be that you have the coffee that is guaranteed to get them going in the morning, free internet access, homemade muffins or the freshest coffee beans available. With your website, you may do payperclick advertising, exchange reciprocal links or write articles.

Traffic must come in the door of your website, like what they see and hopefully buy from you.

While most of these tips are common sense, it is amazing how few people actually use these critical ingredients in their online business. Pretend you are a customer arriving to your web store for the first time. What could you do to make the whole experience better ?
