A Person Of Value

A Person Of Value

by: Sidney Zegna

One of the กsecretsก in Internet Marketing is knowing that you need to be patient enough to develop the kind of business building savvy that people want. It takes time.

Many newcomers put more emphasis on the word Internet and not enough on the word Marketing. The two are going hand in hand and a proper Marketing plan is vital to achieve success. If you do not have a comprehensive Marketing plan with advertising budget, leads, promotions, customers care, after sale service etc, the other word, Internet, is meaningless.

Internet Marketing is not only about having a website, a few products, a couple of ads with you sitting idle in front of your PC with the false hope that now your mail box will be overflowed with order.

Many newcomers chose Internet Marketing to avoid the interaction with other people. They falsely assume that with the Net there is no need to be a ขpeople’s personข; nothing is more far from reality!

If you want to be successful in ANY business you have to master the art of mentoring and leadership. I call it value. Are you valuable enough to be around? Do you have the time and energy to support your downline, do3way calling, and answer questions for your downline partners and their prospects? Are you prepared to spend hours in front of your PC to improve your knowledge of Internet Marketing?

If you don’t, you will suffer the indignity of being a netpreneur creampuff. The more you know, the more your business will grow. Put another way, the more you LEARN, the more you will EARN.

Its a simple formula knowledge = success.

AND…massive action = massive results, MA=MR.

So if you’re new to this business, UNDERSTAND that it takes TIME to develop your skills as a netpreneur. Forget about making big money in your first year with ANY company.

Concentrate on becoming the KIND OF PERSON that others want to be around.

Making Money Online: What You Really Want To Know

Making Money Online: What You Really Want To Know

by: Sopan Greene

So youกve been thinking of doing some internet marketing or youกve done some and you’re not making money yet. What does it really take? Even more importantly, how long does it take and how much does it cost? Isn’t that what you really want to know?

The problem with this question is that there isn’t a black and white answer. Itกs not like you can spend $500 and you will definitely get a specific result. For some reason though thatกs how people think it works.

A lot of folks buy this or that กhow toก product and think itกs going to magically make them money. The key ingredient to making money from these products you buy is to take action and do what they tell you to do.

Just like buying a piece of excercise equipment won’t make you lose weight, buying the greatest กhow to make money on the internetก product won’t make you money if you don’t use it.

But if you buy proven products and do what they tell you, then itกs simple to build a great business. It can happen for you though it probably won’t happen overnight.

We all know the internet is full of hype and also has a lot of genuine success stories. The biggest truth or lie, depending on how you see it, is that you can make good money fast. Whether this is true or false depends on what you’re willing to do and what you think กfastก is.

Internet marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. Itกs a business which means there is time, money and work involved. If you think becoming rich in 3 to 5 years is quick then I guess this can be a get rich vehicle for you. If you don’t think 5 or even 10 years is quick for getting rich, then think about how many people you know who have done it in 5 years. Or in 20? Or in their lifetimes?

The only people I know who have done this have done it through internet marketing, direct marketing, network marketing or through owning their own company. None of them are just employees. The cheapest and fastest way to get there is through internet marketing.

FACT: 74% of the wealthiest people in America own their own business. If thereกs one thing they have that maybe you don’t, itกs their own business.

Even the internet marketing gurus will tell you that itกs never been easier to make good money online. If you listen to the folks who are the biggest successes today most of them started at least 3 years ago. Some of them started back before the internet was called the internet. It was a lot rougher then. Even 3 years ago they didn’t have the advantages we have today.

You can buy subscribers to build your ezine lists. You can use payperclick search engines. You can read hundreds of ezines for great free tips. You can make money through free affiliate programs. You can swap for free ads that reach over 10,000 people at a time. You can make a lot of money from ebay and online auctions. You have a lot more potential partners for joint ventures than they ever had.

Most importantly, you can buy กhow toก products from the people who are internet marketing millionaires. You can follow their directions to get where they are. They had to make it up from scratch when times were harder and now you can do it faster with fewer mistakes.

So if you really want to make good money online what do you do? Research the big dogs. Do whatกs been proven to work. And treat your business like a business or youกll end up with an expensive hobby. If you’re just kicking the tires to see whatกll happen, nothing will. This is true with anything you do in life, not just internet marketing.

Internet marketing is a tremendous vehicle for making great money. Like any vehicle, it won’t go down the road if you don’t gas it up, turn the key and push on the accelerator.

How long it takes to get to the top of the hill at the end of the road depends on how much gas you put in, how hard you press the accelerator, how well you steer and how good your map is.

The first year you drove a car did you drive as well as you do now? No. Youกve gotten better with experience. So don’t expect money to fall out of the sky the first year you do internet marketing. Can you make good money the first year? Sure. But it depends on how much work you do to pay your dues and get some experience.

Like driving a car, the longer you do it the better you get (which means the more money you make).

If you’re a tire kicker I suggest you put your money in your pocket, walk away now and spend your time on something you love to do. If you’re driven to build your own business I suggest you invest your time, energy and money into internet marketing. The payoff can be priceless. See you at the top of the hill at the end of the road.

When Internet Marketing Gurus Sell Their Souls

When Internet Marketing Gurus Sell Their Souls

by: Gobala Krishnan

If you’re just getting started in Internet Marketing, you may be awed by the amount of กInternet Gurusก out there, all making millions of dollars (or so they claim) and for some reason seem more than willing, for a fee, to teach you their biggest, most intimate secrets.

I believe in one thing If it sounds too good to be true, it most probably is!

While I have no doubt on the specialized skills and techniques used by these gurus, it can get way too frustrating simply getting into all their hype, and find almost no value at the end of the day. Hype thatกs one thing I agree these guruกs are really good at. For some of them, unfortunately, hype is the only thing they’re good at.

So the question, for those who are trying to master Internet Marketing, might be:

Can I learn anything from these gurus without paying money?

Who is real and who is not?

Whose methods should I follow?

Can You Learn Something for Free?

Most guruกs have optin newsletters on specialized subjects like website marketing, PayPerClick, search engine optimization or whatever specialized skill they have กmasteredก. Almost all of them ask you to subscribe to their newsltetter in return for some kind of กbreakthroughก report, and promise to deliver กvaluable informationก weekly or monthly to your email address. Sound great.

Hereกs what happens 2 weeks later You realize that the กbreakthrough reportก is the same old regurgitated information which you can find almost anywhere. You might also relize that the กvaluable informationก never comes in full, without any hidden agenda. The กvaluable informationก is actually a softselling (sometimes even blatant advertisements) ad for the guruกs products, or even worse, some other Internet marketerกs products.

Iกm not trying to shoot down any marketer here, but the irony is in their teaching. Almost all internet gurus would advice you to offer valuable, free information that benefits other people. Profits, as they say, is secondary to actually helping people and making a difference in their lives. What a load of BS. How come they don’t practise what they preach? Of is that how the Internet Marketing Game is played?

Fortunately, not all guruกs are the same. There are still some jewels to be found, and they offer some great information in their newsletters, such as:

Vishal Rao: http://www.homebasedbusinessopportunities.com talks about home based businesses.

Mike Cheney: http://www.magnet4web.com talks about building an effective and efficient business web site.

Jill Whalen: http://www.highrankings.com talks about Search Engine Optimization.

Of course there are more out there, but it is not necessary to subscribe to every Internet Marketing newsletter just to hope for nuggets of gold that may never come. Instead, give the guru a ‘trialก month, and if you don’t find anything of value from them, just unsubscribe. It will only be a loss to them, not you.

Whoกs Real and Whoกs Not?

To answer this question, you really have to กget aroundก the Internet a lot. Go to forums where you will definately find topics on infoproducts offered by these gurus, and see what others are saying about them. Forget about all those blaring testimonials that the guruกs compile on their site. Forums are where the real testimonials are. You may also want to consider this site:

GuruDaq : http://www.gurudaq.com

Taking on a Nasdaqlike approach, this site lists all gurus according to ratings and กstock priceก. Although I would advice to take it more as an entertainment that actual recommendations, perhaps this site will allow you to get a glimpse of กwhoกs whoก in Internet Marketing.

Whose methods should I follow?

Honestly, nobodyกs. At least not wordforword of what is thought in their newsletters or ebooks. The important thing to realize is that you need to develop your own technique to be really successful. The guruกs don’t teach you everything, anyway. They almost always feed you the crop but keep the cream for themselves. In other words, no one really tells you the กhot moneymaking secretsก, especially those guruกs that have sold their soul a long time ago.

Its really up to you to learn some tips and tricks of the trade from them, but set out on your own course. In order to be successful in anything, you need to do your own thing. Be original in you approach, whether itกs writing sales letters, doing email marketing, payperclick or search engine optimization.

Don’t look to someone who has sold their soul to lead you to the path of success. Thatกs wishful thinking.

Creating Your Internet Marketing Plan

Creating Your Internet Marketing Plan

by: Megan Corwin

For large corporations, a marketing plan is a huge document detailing strategies for the fiscal year. It may include competitor analysis or a sales forecast. While these elements are important to a large business, do you as a small business owner (without a well paid marketing staff) have the time or energy to devote to putting together a huge document? Unless you are trying to get a financial loan, probably not…

But that doesn’t mean you should totally scrap the idea. A marketing plan can be a wonderful tool to help you refine your focus. Youกve heard the old saying กIf you fail to plan, you plan to fail.ก Thatกs because when you don’t plan you lack intention and attention.

My suggestion is to create a กmicroplan.ก Open up a new document and take an hour or two to answer the following questions.

ขMicroPlanข Questions

What is your purpose for being online?

Awareness

Sales

Community

What % of your overall marketing to be done online?

How much time do you expect to spend marketing on internet?

What strategies will you use?

Contests

Forums

Free reports/ebook

Newsletter

Pay per click advertising

Banners

Articles/content

Viral marketing

Timeline

Assign a project date to each of the strategies. Will they be one time events (contest) or something you need to do frequently (forums)? While you are thinking about it, schedule your projects in your time management system or planner.

Analysis

How will you track the success of your marketing plans? What is your ROI?

Budget

What is your total yearly internet marketing budget?

Assign a $ to each of the strategies you will use.

A successful internet marketing strategy begins with a plan. The time you take to put together your กmicroplanก will be well worth it to your business.

Internet Marketing Idea: Publish an Ezine

Internet Marketing Idea: Publish an Ezine

by: Jack Elmy

Chances are if you surf the net much you have noticed that almost every website offers a free newsletter or ezine in some form or other. Wonder why someone would go to so much trouble to publish a newsletter and offer it for free? The answer is because it is a brilliant Internet marketing idea. True, it does take some work to publish a quality ezine, however the benefits you can reap in sales for your main product or service is worth the time and effort.

What makes writing and publishing an ezine such a good Internet marketing idea is that it allows you to have direct contact with your customers and readers on a continuing basis. Even if they forget to visit your site again (and let’s face it; with all of the work and family demands placed on all of us, no matter how good your site is, this is a possibility) if they are subscribed to your ezine you have a golden opportunity to remind them why your site is fantastic. Secondly, when done tastefully, it gives you a chance to earn a little extra through advertising. Finally, there are relatively few other ways you can build a relationship with your site’s visitors. And as all good salespeople know, building a good rapport with your customer is key to making the sale.

There are a few golden rules you should understand before hurrying to write your first edition, however. While you may be able to convince a visitor to sign up for an ezine when they visit your site, your job as a publisher doesn’t stop there. To get them to actually open it every time it lands their inbox and not hit the delete key, you need to develop a plan. At a minimum, keep these tips in mind in order for an ezine Internet marketing idea to be successful:

Take the time to include informative, interesting and entertaining content for your ezine. Give the reader a reason to want to read your newsletter and better yet, recommend it to others!

Reassure your readers. Always, always include a privacy statement and give them an opportunity to unsubscribe. Hopefully, if you provide relevant, original information you’ll never have to worry about this; but doing so shows you care about your reader and that you produce quality material.

Once you decide to publish an ezine, be consistent about it. If you tell your readers it’s a weekly publication, make sure it comes out weekly no matter what. Failing to abide by this rule tells your reader you’re unreliable and untrustworthy.

Finally, remember that although writing and publishing an ezine is a fantastic Internet marketing idea, it is also a chance for you to have some fun and really expand your skills. Be creative and have fun!

Internet Marketing: Unusual Tricks Of Internet Mar

Internet Marketing: Unusual Tricks Of Internet Marketing Gurus To Attract More Visibility

by: Ikey Benney, CEO

Do you post to message boards, email discussion lists, classified ads sites, FFA sites or newsgroups?

People will usually read the subject line before they read your ad or message, so itกs important they get noticed.

Below are ten simple, but powerful internet marketing tips to get your ads or messages noticed.

1. Use extra white space creatively in your subject line. You can add extra blank spaces between your words or letters.

2. Combine capital letters with lower case letters. Use all capital letters in every other word or use a capital letter between every other lower case letter.

3. Add text symbols in your subject line. You could use them between words and letters. Start and end your subject with a text symbol. ( *, $, >,{,] )

4. Begin your subject line with the word กSTOP!ก. People have been trained their whole life to stop what they are doing when they see that word.

5. Ask people a question in your subject line. We all went to school and were repetitively branded to answer questions.

6. Use the word กFREEก in your subject line. Your offer should be attractive to your target audience. It could be free information, software, trials, etc.

7. Begin your subject line with an กonline smile :)ก. People use smiles offline to gain peopleกs attention and to win their trust, why not use them online too.

8. Don’t use unbelievable claims in your subject line. People have or know some who has been ripped off and trained themselves to ignore those claims.

9. Don’t use all capital letters in your subject line. It is hard to read, looks unprofessional, and on the internet itกs considered a symbol for shouting.

10. Test different subject lines to see which ones draws the most traffic to your web site. Also, read the FAQ before posting a message or ad anywhere.

May these internet marketing secrets help you to make a lot of money.

Warmly,

How To Find HOT, NonInternet Marketing Topics For

How To Find HOT, NonInternet Marketing Topics For Your eBooks

by: Jeff Smith

Itกs so tempting to write ebooks yet again, on กHow To Make Money on the Internetก isn’t it?
You see the thousands of books pitching the next big tip, technique or strategy for making money online.
You get a flood of email from guruกs who have made it big in the world of internet marketing products, writing ebooks on that topic. Or have they really made it big?
OK, They Are Going To Lynch Me For Saying This!
Could it be that these gurus HAVE to be highly visible, run seminar after seminar and stay in your face to be able to LIVE marketing to this niche?
Honestly, I know many of the best online marketing professionals out there and they are far from living like Donald Trump.
Yes, they make take a vacation but rest assured, at least part of it is a working vacation.
Itกs true, the internet marketing niche market is quite a responsive one, but there are BIG problems…
First and foremost, itกs quite small,
The keyword selection is quite tiny, and…
It is one of the most competitive markets out there
So what am I trying to say?
Make Life Easier For Yourself, Pick Another Niche!
Let me try and make my point. Letกs compare the searches for few keywords I came across this last week using the incredible Adword Analyzer Tool >
http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/adwanalyze
These are monthly searches, followed by the number of sites that already offer products to this niche and the top bid on Overture Payperclick (a definite indicator of competitiveness):
Internet Marketing: 115,903 11,600,000 $3.51/click
Marketing Online: 23,157 11,400,000 $6.02/click
Dog Name: 221,290 1,950,000 .10/click
Wood Working: 74,382 4,840,000 .54/click
Storage Shed: 55,252 689,000 .62/click
If this doesn’t make you run away from targeting the internet marketing niche nothing will!
Letกs say you focus on writing a special report, book or membership site focused on naming dogs including other dogrelated information.
You would have roughly double the demand, approximately 80% less supply and a 35 clicks more per dollar than Internet Marketing, and over 60 more clicks than Online Marketing.
Bottom line is…Capitalize on Opportunity Filled Niches
There are hundreds upon hundreds of other niche markets with little competition, cost effective traffic and eager customers that you have a much greater probability of getting to.
I have been spending significant time capitalizing on these niche markets over the last 6months.
Hereกs How To Find Hot Niche Markets
Pay attention to whatกs around you.
Take notice of what books, magazines, media are popular.
What is the latest demand for cookbooks, health, business, exercise, selfhelp, pets, travel, etc…
Plug those topics into a keyword search tool I always use Adword Analyzer (http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/adwanalyze) as it gives you supply, demand as well as keyword popularity.
No time to research?
You can try a powerful new program created by respected online professionals Jimmy D Brown and Ryan Deiss called Nicheology
http://www.highertrustmarketing.com/part/nicheology
This site does all the hard work for you gives you profiles of RED HOT niche markets, several products you can repackage as you like and tons of support creating wealth with niche marketing.
A terrific way to get started is to setup a minisite, write some articles, create 45 product categories and find affiliate products to test out different ideas.
Make sure you collect optin subscribers by creating a brief minicourse or automated newsletter. This will quickly give you a market you can survey and discover new product opportunities.
This is a perfect system because you can get started within days, begin earning profit very quickly, start building content to attract search engines and bundle into future products, all the while learning about your target market identifying new product and service opportunities.

Internet Marketing for Small Businesses A Guide

Internet Marketing for Small Businesses A Guide in Plain English

by: Gordon Goodfellow

Have you ever been intimidated at the convoluted, jargonridden information about Internet marketing available on the Net? What exactly is search engine optimization anyway, and can I do it myself?

Often it results in many companies becoming confused and therefore reluctant to put into practice what would be a valuable and simple business resource when understood and applied correctly.

Market Researcher and Internet marketing consultant, Gordon Goodfellow, who is also an English literature graduate, decided it was time for a change. Part of this desire to make web marketing more accessible was due to his past experience as a teacher.

กI was sick of all the gobbledygook that surrounds web site promotion and web marketing, even today,ก he explains. กWebsite marketing isn’t rocket science and should not be presented as such. Everyone should have access to affordable website promotion.ก

Having spent four years researching and assessing the best way of getting an effective message across on the Internet, he began to design a basic introduction to Internet marketing. The result of this hard work is Applied Web Marketing. AWM is a comprehensive beginner’s guide to marketing on the Internet, covering everything from domain names, through search engine optimisation, search engine ranking and search engine promotion, to ecommerce and merchant accounts (and their alternatives), all refreshingly written in plain English.

The guide also has useful links to many resources, and to the submission pages of the major search engines and directories, making it an unmissable companion to those seeking affordable Internet promotion for their own web sites.

The reaction to this new venture has been swift and positive. In the few months Applied Web Marketing has been available online, many influential names have given their approval and thanks. Both the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Goodfellowกs local MP have been in contact. Stephen Timms MP, Minister for ECommerce, wrote that กit looks like a very useful resource…I wish you well with this very interesting and relevant offering.ก

Applied Web Marketing is free to access at www.AppliedWebMarketing.com and is also downloadable as a free ebook from the site.

The Rush: A Newbieกs Internet Marketing Journey (P

The Rush: A Newbieกs Internet Marketing Journey (Part 1)

by: Stephen Robertson

This article is part 1 of an ongoing series following the adventures of an unemployed slob with a dream.

The trek into the world of internet marketing can be a bit daunting. I know because as I write this, Iกve just taken one of my first steps into this foray.

I assume Iกve done all of the typical things most newbies do on the road in. I also assume that my reason for doing these things is somewhat textbook. I was laid off a few months ago from a dotcom for the second time in 3 years and just couldn’t stand the thought of going through the whole thing again. So I entertained all kinds of thoughts of what I กshouldก do for work. Ideas whizzed into my mind as quickly as they raced out: กI should just bite the bullet and get a tech jobก, กMaybe I should do constructionก, กIกll hit the lotteryก, กInterior Design?ก, กHow about writing a book?ก, กMaybe I can get by as a consultantก, กMcDonaldกs?ก.

One day as I finished my breakfast of all the job and classified websites I could eat, I angrily pounded on my keyboard, กMAKE MONEYก. I laughed when I realized that my cursor was in the Google search box. I hit enter. My first thought was, กLook at all of these scams!ก Then for some reason which I don’t recall, I clicked one. Then another. After about page 10 in Googleกs results pages, I realized it was all very interesting to me. It wasn’t that I was actually buying it, I mean, I wasn’t a sucker. It was the fact that beyond the obvious scams, there was actually a story. I read the testimonials of hundreds of people. กI made $50,000 my first month!ก, กIกll retire in 4 years!ก, กIf my grandmother can do it, you can!ก They were as endless as the overthetop enthusiasm. It provided me with the same literary satisfaction as a Readerกs Digest short story. But there was something more. I couldn’t help but wonder, กIs there even a tiny bit of truth in here?ก I imagine this must be what it felt like for pioneers that pondered the journey west to search for gold. Sure they heard grand stories but what are the chances? Armed with the amazing knowledge that only 25 minutes of reading Google results can give you I considered myself much better equipped than the average joe. I went off to find the one goldmine that had yet been unpicked.

A week passed and Iกd read thousands of testimonials, ideas, free ebooks, and forums. The forums were particularly interesting to me because here were people that all seemed to have a general interest in helping one another to achieve financial freedom. Being a competitive person in business, sports, and life in general, I wondered what the point of that was. กWhy tip your hand?ก, I thought. As I continued to read threads in the forum, it hit me, relationships. All good businesses have one thing in common, great relationships. Whether itกs with a landlord, the mailman, a client, or an employee, successful businesses thrive on good relationships. I was now addicted to this thought.

The Worst Internet Marketing Strategy Ever?

The Worst Internet Marketing Strategy Ever?

by: Jason Potash

Many people are downright frustrated.

And when you look at their internet marketing strategy, itกs no surprise.

Yet, they all fall into a classic trap that can ruin your chances of online success before you even get off the ground.

Have you heard about the ultimate shortcut to success?

Ultimate shortcut? Thatกs right.

Many are led to believe that this is the holy grail of marketing online.

But, if this is your idea of a perfect internet marketing strategy, think again.

Hereกs how it works…

Itกs easy. Create a crappy product and contact every กsapก who has an optin list of 40,000 subscribers or a website that gets a few hundred hits a day. Then ask them all to promote your stuff.

Works like a charm, doesn’t it?

If youกve ever been on the other end of the inbox, you know how annoying this can be.

Some person who sends you 12 emails out of the blue, asking (begging) you to endorse his/her product.

For example, I recently received a similar email from someone asking me to promote an MLM product to my subscribers and customers.

First off, the email was clearly a cutandpaste job. It might have started with กDear Jasonก, but the rest was a boiler plate email.

A big nono when trying to get someoneกs attention and win them over.

And what about the product?

For all I know, the product might have been white hot. But, MLM is the furthest thing from my subscribers minds. Not all of them, but Iกll bet at least 90% of them.

The problem here?

One word: targeting

My subscribers and customers are not the ideal target market for this particular product. If I start promoting MLM, I might as well squeeze in a กhow to pick a winning stockก mailing as well.

Unfortunately, you will also see this กsprayandprayก internet marketing strategy in other areas.

Let me give you an example.

Have you ever received an article on a topic that was no where near what you (or your subscribers/customers) are interest in?

Or, have you ever been asked to review a product that was about กsnake breedingก or something way off in left field?

Have you ever received an email asking you to buy a drug that you have absolutely no use for?

The same rule applies: targeting

My advise? To really nail down your internet marketing strategy and hit the pavement running, hereกs a shortlist of things to consider.

>>>>>> Hand Pick Your Partners Wisely

Notice I said กhand pickก. Choose a few partners that you feel would be ideal candidates. Learn a bit about them and their business BEFORE you contact them.

>>>>>> Get Personal

When you finally decide to contact a potential partner, personalize your contact with them. Add a comment about how you like their website or ezine. Maybe you are a customer who enjoyed their product.

Be sincere and it will shine through.

>>>>>> Think W.T.G.T.D.W.M.?

People are busy, overloaded, overworked. When you send out an email looking for people to publish your article, review your new ebook, or promote your product, you need to think W.T.G.T.D.W.M.?

W.T.G.T.D.W.M. = Whatกs This Got To Do With Me?

Once again, if you are targeting the right partners and choosing them wisely, this question should be selfanswered by the person who are contacting.

For example,

กHi Andy. I am contacting you today because you are among the top snake breeders in America.ก

If your article, product, joint venture is related to snake breeding, you are half way to the finish line already.

>>>>>> The 80/20 Rule Is A Lie

Ever heard of this rule? 20% of people produce 80% of the results? Online, this is more like the 97/3 rule. If you are looking for joint venture partners online, 97% of people will do nothing to help you. Sure, they might seem interested at first. But, when it comes time to กplay ballก, they will suddenly drop off the earth.

Your goal? Stop wasting time marketing to กeveryoneก. Find the 3% who will work with you to accomplish your goals and make things happen.

Tip: If you are focusing on a highly targeted market, this will happen much easier.

>>>>>> Know When To Back Off

So, youกve sent two emails with no reply. Is it time to call it quits? Not always. Some people are genuinely on information overload and won’t get back to you for several days (if not a week). Why not pick up the phone, make one last attempt and contact them by phone? If they fail to return your email or voicemail, perhaps itกs time to move on (see 97/3 rule above).

Remember, the name of the game is targeting. When putting together your internet marketing strategy, pick your partners wisely aim to find that golden 3% as quickly as possible.

Take your time and get this part right from day one. It makes all the difference in the world when you are sending people something that is of real interest to them.

If it appeals to them, they will pay attention, and the boost in response you receive will speak for itself.

5 Powerful Ways To Reduce Your Learning Curve

5 Powerful Ways To Reduce Your Learning Curve

by: Al Martinovic

Itกs no secret that to succeed on the internet you have to learn as much as you can about internet marketing and marketing in general. Itกs an ongoing process.

Even the top marketers continually try to learn and or improve on their existing marketing methods. The day that you think you have nothing else to learn or กknow it allก is the day that you are finished in this business.

With that said, I would like to share with you my Top 5 knowledge resources and what has helped me in my 2 years online and I hope it can help you too!

#1 Corey Rudlกs The Insider Secrets To Marketing Your Business On The Internet

This is a huge 2 volume course that details everything Corey does that makes him millions online every year.

This is by far the best course I have ever bought. I would go as far as to say 85% of my internet marketing knowledge comes from this course alone.

The course doesn’t come cheap but with the information he shares, believe me, you will more than make up the money you spent for it. I highly recommend it.

And if you don’t buy it then do yourself a favor and sign up for his monthly newsletter. Itกs probably the best of the best information wise.

#2 Books

Thatกs right… books. If you don’t like reading then you are going to have a tough time being successful in this business.

Go to your local book store or to Amazon.com and you will see there are a ton of books from marketing to copywriting to selfimprovement… you get the idea.

Here are some books that I highly recommend:

‘think & Grow Richก by Napolean Hill

กConversations With Millionairesก by Mike Litman and Jason Oman

‘the Ultimate Sales Letterก by Dan S. Kennedy

กMind Control Marketing.comก by Mark Joyner

#3 Fr*e or Paid TeleSeminars

TeleSeminars are like mini marketing seminars done by phone. You can learn alot of great information by attending these seminars so if you come across one, take advantage of it.

You don’t even have to speak at these teleseminars, just listen in and take notes. It is a great way to shave off your กlearning curveก in a hurry whether you are new or experienced.

#4 Internet Marketing Forums

Forums are a great way to get knowledge. And youกll even noticed the กbigก marketers pop in on a few of them from time to time.

You can post any questions you have and there will people there who will genuinely try to help you out. Or just read the other posts and see what type of knowledge you can gain.

Here are a few forums that I check out from time to time:

#5 Ezines and Newsletter

What I do and recommend you do is to sign up for the newsletters of all the กbigก marketers out there. I won’t mention names…you know who they are. :^)

Study their websites and especially the emails they send you. Then ask yourself… What tactics or strategies are they using? How can I apply this to my business?

And if you ever find yourself wanting to buy something from them by all means go ahead but before you do…. stop and ask yourself why you wanted to buy.

The same tactic or strategy that they used can possibly work for your business as well. Don’t overlook this.

There you have it. My top 5 knowledge resources when it comes to internet marketing. I hope you take the time to make use of them.
